Mehood Elegant Hotel Changsha Flagship

Had a fantastic stay! The front desk is on the 36th floor, and the lady there, especially Mia, was incredibly enthusiastic, helpful, and professional. She definitely deserves a shout-out! The room was very clean, and I loved the designer hotel's aesthetic. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Changsha.

The only major disappointment during my trip to Changsha was this hotel. First off, since it was the World Cup final, I repeatedly confirmed online if screen mirroring was available when I booked. Upon arrival, I asked the front desk again if screen mirroring was an option and if it worked smoothly. Both times, I received a positive answer. However, when I tried to watch the World Cup that night, the screen mirroring kept freezing every minute, making it impossible to watch. There was no TV signal in the room either, so I had to watch the World Cup on my phone, which was a terrible experience. Secondly, the pillows in the room were barely filled with anything, causing me to get a stiff neck on the very first night. I had to take medicine and apply a patch, and I'm still suffering on my way back now. Beyond that, the room's facilities and cleanliness were awful. There was dust and water stains everywhere. The coffee machine was broken and unusable, and room service couldn't be reached – no service at all. Also, the hotel downstairs was undergoing renovations, which was extremely noisy. The front desk did move me to a higher floor, which was good – I can commend them for that. The only point I'd give is for the location; it's quite convenient with easy subway access. However, this hotel has left a bad impression of Changsha on me, and I won't be returning.

Our stay was fantastic. The room had a great view, overlooking the scenic street below, especially beautiful at night. The hotel amenities were comprehensive, and check-in was quick and easy. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety of choices, and the afternoon tea experience was also delightful. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. They provided a complimentary fruit platter in each room upon check-in, which was a very thoughtful touch. Later, we added two more rooms last minute and were surprised to find the hotel offers 19 different room types to choose from. Each room has a great design aesthetic with comfortable color schemes and is fully equipped with all amenities. The hygiene was impeccable, everything was spotless. The lobby's night view was absolutely stunning, and it beautifully incorporates many local Hunan cultural elements. We were extremely satisfied with our stay this time.

The hotel's location is super convenient – it's quiet despite being in a bustling area, and there's a subway station right downstairs. IFC Mall is just one stop away! The staff were really welcoming and even gave us a complimentary minibar and afternoon tea ☕

I only stayed for one day on my trip to Changsha, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The view from the hotel is stunning, especially at night. The room was also very clean and tidy, which made me feel comfortable. The service was exceptional; the front desk staff, particularly Lulu, was incredibly warm and friendly. Even though it was late, she patiently helped us with our request for free ice cream. She provided excellent emotional value, repeatedly asking about our needs and patiently listening to our suggestions, making our stay very comfortable and reassuring. This hotel truly embodies human warmth and the principle of 'the customer is king.' Next time I'm in Changsha, this elegant hotel will definitely be my top choice. I hope to see the lovely front desk staff again. Highly recommend!

Found a hidden gem of a designer river-view hotel in Changsha! The hotel is right by the Xiangjiang River, and you can enjoy the breeze as soon as you step out. The entire place boasts a minimalist luxury design, with color schemes and soft furnishings that are incredibly photogenic. Every corner exudes sophistication. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed panoramic view of the Xiangjiang River. In the evening, you can watch the sunset over Orange Isle, and the night view is absolutely stunning. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the bathroom amenities are high quality. It's quiet and peaceful, truly romantic and rejuvenating. Wren's service was enthusiastic and thoughtful, highly recommended!

This is a designer hotel with a great location near the Xiang River, making transportation, dining, and shopping very convenient. The staff, especially Wren, was incredibly warm and attentive. The environment, service, and cleanliness were all excellent!
