"I recently stayed at Yiyuminsu that left quite an impression on me. The room was astonishingly large for the price, with insanely high ceilings that gave it a grand and airy feel. It felt incredibly spacious and comfortable, which was a real treat.
The hotel is located in a slightly busy part of town, which is convenient for access to local activities, but it can also be a bit overwhelming at times. Finding the hotel, especially as a tourist, was rather challenging – the directions weren’t clear and navigating the streets late in the evening wasn’t easy.
On the bright side, the staff were genuinely nice and helpful, making the check-in and overall stay very pleasant. Late checkout was hassle-free and could be arranged easily through WeChat, which I found very convenient.
Overall, the hotel combines excellent value with a few minor location challenges, and I would happily recommend it to anyone comfortable with a bit of city bustle."

The service was warm and attentive; they contacted us in advance with a check-in guide and a comprehensive Changsha travel guide covering major attractions and local food, which was really nice. "This homestay is quite difficult to find, especially for international travelers who are unfamiliar with the area. It was unclear where to check in at first, and we had to ask the building’s information desk to help contact the owner before we could access the room. Fortunately, the owner was kind and helpful.
The room itself is spacious with plenty of space. There was a slight cigarette smell, which is common in some places in China, but the highlight is the beautiful river view. Although some buildings partially block the view, it is still very impressive.
This was our last night in China before returning home, and staying here became a very good memory.
Downstairs, there is a nearby park where you can take a walk and watch elderly locals doing their daily activities, which feels very authentic and enjoyable.
The location is convenient—close to a train station and easy to get to Orange Isle. Around the building, there are rice shops and cafés, so finding food is not a problem at all.
A good choice for travelers who value views and atmosphere, and don’t mind a bit of inconvenience during check-in."

"The hotel's location is really convenient; it's just a short walk and a turn from the subway station. It's also easy to get to all the tourist attractions. The staff provided excellent service. It was raining a lot during my stay in Changsha, so my clothes dried very slowly, but they gave me extra hangers to help with drying, and they were very responsive whenever I needed something. The hotel is on the 22nd floor, and there's another hotel above it. One night it was quite noisy upstairs, but after I reported it, they quickly went to communicate with them. You can order a late-night porridge through their mini-program, and I got to try both red bean and mung bean, both of which were delicious. The front desk also offers hot coffee. Overall, I had a great experience, and it's excellent value for money!"

A pleasant surprise was renting the hotel's bikes to explore Songya Lake – all the staff were so friendly! I'll definitely be staying at the Crowne Plaza again next time I'm in Changsha.

AATOM-IIBecause of the heavy snow on the 22nd, we reserved the whole place on the 21st. It was really amazing. Every scene was amazing, mainly because the dogs were so well-behaved. Plus it was snowing, it was so atmospheric. If you come here in the summer, you can call a few friends or have a company meeting. Anyway, we will come again next time. Knowing it was my birthday, she specially decorated the place and sent champagne 🍾️. She was very enthusiastic. The auntie who cooked was also very nice. She heated up the food for us the next day for fear of waste. It was a warm and cozy stay!

🔹Exceptional Butler Service: The 24-hour butler service was incredibly responsive, meticulous, and thoughtful. From guiding me through check-in to handling requests, they were proactive and enthusiastic, paying attention to every detail, which made me feel incredibly welcome.
🔹Rich and Delicious Breakfast: The semi-buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options, blending Chinese and Western cuisine. The freshly prepared Changsha rice noodles and the semi-buffet items were authentic and fresh, satisfying my taste buds completely.
🔹Wonderful Late-Night Dessert: The surprising late-night sweet soup was delicately sweet and comforting with an excellent texture. Enjoying it late at night was particularly warming and soothing, adding a great touch to the ambiance.
The hotel's environment is elegant and tranquil, and both the service and dining are impeccable. It's an excellent choice for a vacation in Changsha; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Location: The hotel is perfectly situated at the confluence of the Liuyang and Xiang Rivers, right next to Beichenhui Joy City. There's a direct walkway from the hotel lobby into the mall, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also a comfortable 5-7 minute walk to Beichen Delta Metro Station, passing other malls like Fenghuanghai along the way. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with plenty of local eateries on the ground floor shops.
Room: As a member celebrating a birthday, I was upgraded to a balcony room directly overlooking the Xiang River. The view was expansive and unobstructed. The 270° balcony essentially offered panoramic views. Unfortunately, it rained heavily in Changsha over the weekend, so visibility was poor due to heavy mist during the day, though it improved slightly in the afternoon and evening. From the lounge, you can enjoy views of the Changsha Library area, or step out onto the outdoor balcony for a different perspective.
Ambiance: The facilities are still very new. The lobby bar is spacious, and the first-floor breakfast restaurant had far more seating than I anticipated. The overall decor is very stylish. It's also very comfortable to just sit and relax in the first-floor lobby.
Food: I experienced the lounge's happy hour, breakfast, and the main lobby breakfast. They offered local specialties like liangfen (cold noodles) and rice noodles. There was a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. The Western selection had a good number of delicious baked goods. The bar was quite busy in the mornings with many people getting coffee and tea.
Service: The service was incredibly warm, meticulous, and professional. During check-in, the front desk staff introduced us to all the hotel's functional areas and features. A special thank you to Cathy for her outstanding contribution to our stay. Since we were celebrating my partner's birthday, Cathy thoughtfully arranged decorations and a welcome dessert for us. Throughout our stay, she responded to our inquiries quickly and professionally and actively addressed my previous requests. My partner described the entire stay as comfortable, surprising, and heartwarming. Once again, thank you to Cathy for her professionalism and dedication. And thanks to all the staff for their service, which made us feel right at home.
I'm very much looking forward to returning to InterContinental Beichen when the mountains are ablaze with autumn colors!

Our butler, Sunny, was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and professional, always responding promptly to our requests. Invoicing was quick, and guest requests were handled efficiently. The location is superb, within walking distance of Wuyi Square and Chaozong Street, and with a nearby subway station, getting around is super convenient. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, featuring authentic freshly cooked Changsha rice noodles and a wide variety of fresh and tasty options. The room was comfortable and elegant, with a great river view. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe room design is very innovative, and I booked it specifically for its sci-fi theme. I particularly loved the blue background. The separate toilet and shower room were also excellent. The service staff were gentle and patient. The entire place was very clean, and they even helped me arrange a late check-out during the May Day holiday. Breakfast was also plentiful, and you could customize your rice noodles with various vegetables. There were even blanched greens available! This is better than what other five-star hotels offer!

GGuest UserI've stayed at this hotel several times before, and I returned after its recent renovation. I really like the new decor and the bedding is very comfortable. It's great value for money, and overall, I'm very satisfied with the room.
However, the check-in experience was unpleasant. There was a short-haired female front desk agent who was very unprofessional and clearly unfamiliar with her duties. I stood there for over ten minutes, literally ten minutes, while she fiddled with the computer without saying a word. Meanwhile, the agent next to her had already processed several guests. When I asked what was going on, she said she was still looking for a room... It was already 7 PM, not mid-day, and she couldn't find an empty room! Eventually, after consulting with a colleague, she assigned me a room on the lowest floor.
The front desk agents next to her were efficiently greeting and informing multiple guests about the hotel's facilities, taxi services, and parking. Yet, after keeping me waiting for over ten minutes due to her incompetence, this agent offered no apology and failed to provide any information whatsoever. I had to ask other staff members for details later.
Furthermore, there was a man in a suit from an external company organizing a conference who was constantly shouting and calling out attendees at the front desk, barging between hotel guests and staff without any manners. The hotel should really direct these conference staff to a separate, empty counter to avoid such disruption.
Other staff members were very professional, and I'm happy with the room. The cleaning staff I encountered in the hallway were also polite, and the cleanliness was excellent. Overall, the renovation and decor are impressive for this price point.

The staff provided service with a smile. I must give a huge shout-out to the omelette at breakfast – as a seasoned omelette connoisseur who's tasted countless ones, this one gets a solid thumbs-up! It was soft, tender, not greasy, and the cheese was wonderfully fragrant and stringy. The yogurt bar was excellent, with my favorite Greek yogurt and chia seed yogurt available. Honestly, it offers much better value for money than the Park Hyatt I stayed at last time.

Perched on the 38th to 50th floors, the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the striking giant 'orange tree' and the incredibly high ceilings. The fusion of Eastern aesthetics and modern luxury was absolutely exquisite.
The most delightful surprise was undoubtedly the room's panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, which practically covered an entire wall. Opening them revealed a breathtaking vista of the Xiang River, Orange Isle, and the distant Yuelu Mountain, truly offering a 'mountains, water, island, city' visual feast all in one frame. Especially at night, gazing at the glittering cityscape and the shimmering river outside the window was incredibly relaxing.
Every detail showcased thoughtful care. Not only did the room feature comfortable beds that could be combined and high-quality toiletries, but it also had a pleasant surprise: snacks from Cha Yan Yue Se, making you feel a strong sense of local culture and hospitality. The hotel is conveniently located right above Bisha Lake Subway Station, making it incredibly easy to get to Wuyi Square, Orange Isle, and other central commercial areas and attractions. Whether it was the resort-like high-altitude infinity pool or the authentic Hunan rice noodles at the all-day dining restaurant, everything added to the enjoyment of my trip. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changsha who is looking for a high-quality vacation experience. I will definitely be back!
