The rooms are clean and tidy with complete facilities. The gym and swimming pool are well-equipped, and the water quality is clear. The staff are always friendly, greeting guests warmly. Breakfast offers a wide variety and tastes delicious. The hotel is located right next to the Xiang River, and Hisense Plaza and Changsha Wenheyou are conveniently located downstairs. It's very convenient for sightseeing and shopping.

I booked a Club Twin Room, specifically for the executive benefits, convenient location, and great views. I stayed for three days and two nights, and it rained almost non-stop, so there wasn't really any scenery to enjoy. This was my first time visiting Changsha, and I felt the front desk staff wasn't particularly warm; it was a very standard check-in process. They even asked if I wanted to upgrade to a river view room for an extra charge. With such heavy rain outside, what river view could there possibly be? I had checked the weather forecast beforehand, which was why I booked the Club Room. Bad weather already puts a damper on things, and then a major incident happened. My mother fell when walking out of the restaurant after breakfast. She landed flat on the ground, and her knee and ankle immediately swelled up. Several service staff immediately jumped into action, bringing ice packs and Yunnan Baiyao, and helping her to lie down on a nearby sofa. My mother was initially a bit disoriented from the fall, but after the immediate care, she started to regain her composure. Later, while she was resting in the room, the housekeeping lady was incredibly kind and went above and beyond, constantly checking in on my mother. After returning to Shanghai, X-rays showed a fracture, but the doctor said the initial first aid measures taken were excellent. A big thank you to all the hotel staff, both male and female, who helped my mother. The executive lounge offers a different specialty dish every day. Eating while looking out the window is a very pleasant experience. We stayed on the 60th floor this time, which was great.

After four years, I stayed here again, and to my surprise, the hotel is still in great shape with no significant signs of aging. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room service was prompt. A big thank you to the hotel's guest services for the excellent follow-up during check-in and the beautiful pre-arranged decorations. The hotel is within walking distance of Du Fu's River Pavilion, and you can see Orange Isle from the room. Every time I visit Changsha, I'm torn between IFC and Grand Hyatt, but I always come back to the Grand Hyatt for this window view. I hope the hotel maintains its high standards, so that I'll never regret choosing it again.

The guest rooms are situated on the 46th floor and higher, offering panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that directly face the Xiangjiang River and Orange Isle. The entire cityscape, with its mountains, rivers, and islands, is laid out before you. In the morning, you can watch the river mist, at dusk, chase the sunset painting the water, and at night, admire the myriad lights along both banks. If you're lucky enough to catch the Orange Isle fireworks, you'll have an exclusive, unparalleled viewing spot right from your room – perfect for stunning photos! The front desk staff are incredibly attentive and professional. They patiently answered all my questions without any perfunctory responses, and their service was warm yet discreet, never intruding on my personal space. The entire check-in to check-out process was smooth and comfortable. Their comprehensive, thoughtful service significantly enhanced my trip to Changsha. Check-out was also quick and seamless, with simple and pleasant communication throughout. The service was enthusiastic but not overbearing, showing excellent discretion. The professional service from the front desk alone is enough to warrant a full five-star rating. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

This was my first time in Changsha, another city that loves its spice! Since I was traveling with teenagers, we only had a two-day weekend. To make the most of our experience, I booked the Grand Hyatt, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The Grand Hyatt is definitely the #1 hotel choice for families visiting Changsha#. I booked a river view room this time, and we could see the entire river from our window. It was so hot that we even got lazy and didn't bother going to Orange Isle; we just enjoyed the view from our room. Next time, when it's cooler, we'll properly explore the attractions. The hotel's surroundings have everything you could ask for. Popular spots praised by netizens like Juwei Quji, Ben Luobo, Yaoqiexian, Wenheyou, and many more are all within walking distance. As for the Cha Yan Yue Se bubble tea chain, there are several branches right downstairs. We focused on a short but intense culinary experience. Speaking of the hotel, the service was very warm and attentive. They proactively contacted me before check-in to ask about our needs, and after check-in, all our small requests were immediately met. The breakfast was quite rich, with some local specialties. As out-of-towners who aren't great with spicy food, we were very satisfied to find rice noodles and stir-fried pork with chili for breakfast. The Xiangjiang 36 Chinese restaurant on the third floor of the hotel was also good; we had the fish head before leaving, and it was delicious. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I will choose the Grand Hyatt again on my next visit.

Overall, a good experience, though the issue with the food delivery was a bit disappointing. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. From the higher floors, you can enjoy a quiet and beautiful night view of the Xiang River. The guest services center called in advance, and the location is also quite convenient for getting around.

The Grand Hyatt Changsha boasts an excellent location right by the river, making it super convenient to walk to nearby pedestrian streets and Taiping Old Street for dining, accommodation, and shopping. As soon as you step out of your car at the hotel entrance, staff are there to assist, taking your luggage and guiding you to the front desk for check-in. Throughout my stay, from the staff at the hotel entrance to the front desk, the Club Lounge staff at breakfast and dinner, and the housekeeping team, everyone provided warm, attentive, and smiling service. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were extensive and delicious. The room was very comfortable with fantastic views. It was a wonderful trip, and the Grand Hyatt's service truly deserves a big thumbs up! 👍👍👍

The river view from the room was absolutely stunning, offering panoramic views of the Xiang River and Orange Isle. The room itself was clean, bright, and comfortable. A special thank you to the hotel's service – we accidentally left two umbrellas behind when we checked out and headed to Yueyang. It had been raining quite a bit, so they were much needed. The concierge at Grand Hyatt was incredibly thoughtful and arranged for them to be couriered to us via SF Express the very next day, which was incredibly timely. Definitely lives up to its reputation as Changsha's top-ranked hotel. Thumbs up! 👍

Traveling with seniors and kids! Arrived at the hotel at 11:30 PM, and there was no bellhop to help with luggage, so I had to drag everything myself. Only one person at the front desk was handling check-ins. When we tried to use the elevator, we waited over 10 minutes for one of the five elevators – it was incredibly slow. The furniture in the room was old, and the bathroom counter was covered in uncleaned hair. The tissue box was practically empty after two pulls. The hygiene was terrible. Going down in the elevator was just as bad, stopping on almost every floor. The experience was extremely poor and definitely not up to 5-star hotel standards! Besides the location, there are no advantages whatsoever. I will not be staying at this hotel again.
