"This hotel is located right inside Chaozhou Ancient City, directly opposite Kaiyuan Temple. It's just a few minutes' walk to Paifang Street, which is super convenient. The hotel isn't huge, but the facilities are complete and it's quite clean. However, the balcony was a bit disappointing; the walls are so high you can barely see outside. We booked a room with a hot tub, but the hotel didn't ask if we wanted it filled or anything beforehand. There's no hotel parking, and it's really hard to find a spot during peak season, especially during holidays when there's traffic control in the ancient city. We drove around a few times and couldn't even get to the hotel entrance... Overall, though, it was still pretty good!"

"Accommodation near Chaozhou Ancient City isn't cheap. I first considered Atour and Hanting, but neither felt quite right after comparing them. I was very lucky to find Kaiyuan Mingting: The location is excellent, just about a ten-minute walk to Kaiyuan Temple, and there are many great restaurants nearby. The room was spacious, over 30 square meters, with a simple yet stylish decor, easily comparable to Atour. The facilities were comprehensive, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. For a room priced at just over 200 yuan, the value for money is outstanding."

"This hotel is nestled in a *nongtang* (traditional alleyway). We arrived late at night, and the friendly hotel staff member was still waiting for us and helped us with our luggage. The room was relatively new, and the accommodation environment was spacious. The room had two large beds, and another large bed was in a separate room, offering good privacy. The mattress was very comfortable 👍. It's very suitable for our small family trip. The hotel's immediate surroundings are also great. There's a herbal tea shop downstairs that's very authentic 👍—the most authentic herbal tea we've had during our two-day stay. There are small shops nearby, selling things like *changfen* (rice noodle rolls), snacks, hot pot, and BBQ (for late-night supper), all just a few steps away or right outside the *nongtang*. It's also very close to Paifang Street, less than 2 kilometers by taxi."

All the staff were exceptionally friendly, making me feel as comfortable as if I were at home. Definitely a full five stars!"

"The hygiene of the room is very poor. The quilt is still 12 pounds in the winter. The pillow does not even have a pillowcase. I was drunk. The hot spring water in the room is not hot. After adding the electric water heater, I need to take a shower later but the temperature is not enough. I asked the front desk to send it to me. You have to go get everything yourself, no service. I can only say that you should experience it yourself. I am not a critic of my colleagues. I gave this company my first bad review. It’s okay if you don’t have love. There are many disadvantages that I won’t go into. You’ll know if you experience it yourself."
