Orange Hotel (Chaozhou ancient city Paifang Street)

The room was old and very dirty. The floor was sticky, making my shoes stick to it. The toilet and toilet paper holder were about a meter apart, which was very inconvenient. The layout was poor, and it definitely wasn't worth the price. Overall, staying here was a terrible experience.

The family room was a bit small, and since it faced east, we couldn't open the curtains in the morning. There was also no good spot to dry clothes. At night, the room lights were either all on or all off, and the USB ports wouldn't charge. However, the lobby had a coffee machine and a variety of teas and fruits, which was a nice touch and great service.

The hygiene was really bad. There were cockroaches outside the door, and when I entered, I saw peanut shells by the fridge, clearly not cleaned properly. The soundproofing was also terrible; I could hear cars honking on the road starting at 6 or 7 AM. It's near a school, so there's a lot of traffic.

1. The hotel's location is convenient; it's a short walk to Paifang Street, Kaiyuan Temple, and Guangji Bridge. 2. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, fulfilling most of our requests, and even arranged a quiet room away from the street. 3. The overall environment, including the room, was very clean. The room was spacious and bright, well-equipped, and thoughtfully laid out, making for a very comfortable stay. 4. It has its own parking lot, which is very convenient. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience! Arrived in the early hours and they even prepared warm water. Got a free upgrade to a room with breakfast, and the breakfast spread was impressive. The Teochew kway teow (rice noodles) was especially delicious and left a lasting impression.

Orange Hotel Chaozhou Ancient City is clean and tidy with plenty of hot water! The front desk service is great! Convenient for getting around!

It's within walking distance of Paifang Street and Guangji Bridge. The hotel breakfast is good. The Wogan oranges at the front desk are very sweet and delicious. Coffee and lemon tea are also provided in the lobby.

The front desk staff were very welcoming, the room was clean, and the location was convenient for getting around. It's right next to the ancient city and they even provided a tourist guide, which was incredibly thoughtful.
