Yinghe Hotel (Chaozhou Ancient City)

Unexpectedly found a gem of a hotel for my May Day holiday trip! The deluxe twin room was incredibly spacious, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, including sweet potatoes and fried chicken nuggets that my child loved. The lobby had self-service tea and freshly ground coffee, plus a free gym. The facilities were excellent, and my stay was fantastic!

Traveling with my family of three, we opted for the family room with bunk beds. The room was spacious and airy, and our child had a blast playing in it. The hotel thoughtfully provided a kids' toilet seat, and the free parking comes with EV charging stations, which was very convenient for getting around. They also have a gym and a breakfast restaurant. It's really close to all the main attractions, and there are tons of great food options nearby. Excellent value for money, truly recommend it!

This hotel's family room is spacious, with excellent natural light and an expansive view. It was a joy to stay here with the kids. The breakfast spread was extensive and complete, including freshly made 'guotiao' (rice noodle) soup with a delicious, savory broth. They also offer scooter rentals, making it a quick 5-minute ride to the ancient city's archway street.

The security guard was really nice; he helped us take our car to charge and showed us where to park. The hotel environment is lovely, and the staff are very friendly. I'll definitely bring my family here again next time.

This hotel is absolutely amazing, so clean and comfortable, it really brightens your mood. The location is perfect too; it's super convenient for getting to all the attractions, so you don't have to worry about transportation at all. They even have a gym if you want to get a workout in, and the freshly ground coffee in the lobby bar smells fantastic and tastes incredible. It's so pleasant to have a cup during your leisure time. Overall, the experience was a solid 10/10!

This hotel is perfect for families. You can book a suite with two rooms and one bathroom, offering independence without feeling too far apart, so you won't disturb each other. The restaurant includes breakfast, and the freshly cooked kway teow is delicious. Parking is also convenient. It's a fantastic hotel.

Booked two different room types for two nights. Both rooms were quite spacious. The lobby offers complimentary tangerine peel water and Pu'er tea. There's also free parking and a good variety for breakfast. They even have a delivery robot! A very satisfactory stay overall!

There was a construction site outside the window. I asked at the front desk if I could switch to a room not facing the road. The front desk replied that all king rooms face the street, and I couldn't switch to a twin room without paying extra. Construction started at 7 AM with drilling. I ordered takeout, and the delivery driver called at 7:40 PM saying the front desk wouldn't let him upstairs and that a robot would deliver it. By almost 8:10 PM, it still hadn't arrived. I had to call the front desk again for them to finally put it on the robot. I don't know what the front desk was doing. I definitely won't stay here again.

The hotel was decent. It's within walking distance of the old town, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was extensive and even included kway teow (rice noodles)! There's also a seafood market right next door. Overall, a good stay.
