Hotels in Macau Peninsula,Macau
YOHO Treasure Island hotel, a landmark situated in the center of the transportation hub in the peninsula of Macau, boasts breathtaking views. The hotel features rooms with a sophisticated luxurious design that captures some of the most iconic landmarks, such as the stunning views of Nam Van Lake, the dazzling Nam Van Lake fountain, and the renowned Wynn fountain. As the sea meets the sky, the lake blends with the city, forming an unforgettable scenery. YOHO Treasure Island hotel provides long-stay apartment-style suites with fully equipped kitchens and washing machines, allowing you to feel at home while away. And located in the key area of Macau peninsula, the hotel is right in front of the largest bus transfer station in Macau and is connected to nearby Grand Lisboa, Hotel Lisboa, Wynn Resorts, MGM Macau, StarWorld Hotel, and Bank of China Building via pedestrian tunnels, offering convenient transportation while surrounded by stunning views. At sunset, the sunset paints the sky orange, reflecting on the lake surface, creating a romantic and beautiful scenery. When darkness falls, experience the dazzling city landscapes up close and bring home an unforgettable experience.

"Let's start with the positives, then move on to the negatives. **Pros:** The viewing glass was incredibly clean, making for a very pleasant city view. The bathroom had a rain shower. Both the bathroom and bedding were spotlessly clean, and the toiletries provided were of good quality. The hotel itself is relatively new. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very polite and helpful. The bedside outlets were compatible with mainland China plugs, so no adapter was needed, and the room even provided a three-in-one charging cable. **Location:** The location is excellent, right next to the Grand Lisboa, Lisboa, and Wynn (the original Wynn, not Wynn Palace). However, because the roads are wide, even though they're all on the same roundabout, it still takes about ten minutes to walk across several roads. Families with elderly members might want to consider this. If you're looking for convenient dining options, it's probably better to book a hotel near St. Paul's Ruins; there are a few good ones there. If you're not planning on gambling, you can also book a city view room to enjoy these landmark buildings. Of course, after crossing the road, there's a large bus hub (as shown in the picture), which is a huge plus because you can get pretty much anywhere in Macau from there. The hotel also has shuttle buses to other hotels and major border crossings, and taxis are easy to find. Personally, I think staying in the old district is more convenient than Taipa for city walks; within 1-4 kilometers, you can explore many historical sites, small shops, and local eateries. Macau is small, so taxis are convenient everywhere; the starting fare is 25 MOP, and it cost 76 MOP from Qingmao Port to the hotel. **Floors:** The front desk is on the basement level, so there's a distinction between the 'Hotel Lobby' (L floor) and the 'Entrance Lobby' (G floor). Taxis and food deliveries drop off at the Entrance Lobby, G floor. **Price:** For your reference: I stayed on a weekday in April, in a city view fountain room, and it cost 600-700 RMB including tax. **Cons:** The room lacked a 'Do Not Disturb' sign or light. When I smelled smoke, neither the operator nor the in-room phone answered. The wardrobe doors were covered in grease stains and fingerprints from previous guests; housekeeping likely only did a basic clean and didn't notice these 'common' areas on the cabinet doors. The soundproofing is indeed very poor. Whenever someone walks by in the corridor or talks at a normal volume, it's very noisy in the room. When the cleaning staff on the floor above or in adjacent rooms cleaned, and their mops hit the walls, it caused significant disturbance in the room (as shown in the video recording); it felt like the walls were hollow. Surprisingly, the window's soundproofing was good; despite the busy roundabout below with cars constantly passing, I couldn't hear any noise from outside. My biggest complaint is that the hotel has failed to enforce its no-smoking policy. The elevator smelled like a KTV, and the corridors reeked of stale cigarette smoke, as if the carpets had been smoked in. Passing one room, three men walked out, and the smoke smell that wafted out was nauseating. The 11th floor is supposed to be a non-smoking floor, but I often smelled smoke in the corridor, and on one occasion, the smoke directly entered my room. I opened my door to complain to the staff, but although they were present, they seemed to ignore the situation. Later, I spoke to the lobby manager on duty, who also expressed helplessness, stating it was a matter of certain guests' behavior, and they could only check for smoke smell upon checkout and fine the guests who had already checked out. This simply doesn't solve the problem, so non-smoking, rule-abiding guests like us become the victims. When I went to the front desk to ask a question, I saw a male staff member treating another guest's inquiry with a very perfunctory attitude, not even looking up, which was quite rude, like a roadside shopkeeper dealing with someone asking for directions. Overall, despite claiming to be a five-star hotel, the management is quite disorganized."

"After booking, I tried to contact the hotel multiple times without success; no one responded to my requests. Finally, Ctrip helped me communicate with the hotel the day before our trip. Initially, I was concerned about renovation smells in the Bond Tower and asked to be moved to the Banyan Tower. Ctrip informed me that as of April 2026, only the Bond Tower was open, which I accepted. Then, I requested to switch our king room to a twin room, and the hotel said it would cost an additional 90+ RMB, which I also agreed to. Many online reviews mention free room upgrades, but honestly, don't expect any of that anymore. I had also mentioned it was our 10th wedding anniversary, and while they didn't upgrade our room, they did give us a small cake. However, it was clearly an oversight as it said 'Happy Birthday' – very perfunctory. Furthermore, during check-in, halfway through the process, a South Asian supervisor-like staff member suddenly came over and, with a disdainful look, told us we needed to pay extra. I was thinking, hadn't Ctrip already clarified this, and hadn't we agreed to pay? Why did she act as if we were unwilling to pay and deserved her contempt? This was the first time I'd ever had such an uncomfortable check-in experience in Macau. The hotel's facilities and design are undeniably exquisite and beautiful. Although the room was small, the Bond Tower didn't have the strong renovation smell that some online reviews mentioned, which was a relief. The hotel also provided Eiffel Tower tickets, which was a pleasant surprise. After returning to the room in the evening, I noticed there was no turndown service provided, nor was the room tidied up a second time. The service was a bit lacking. Also, there were no size options for children's bathrobes; my 130cm, 80-catty (approx. 40kg) son couldn't wear theirs. The service staff and front desk employees had poor English proficiency. The only thing that truly impressed me was the heated swimming pool. Located on the 3rd floor, it offered great views, with comfortable loungers, lemon water, and towels readily available by the pool. The water temperature was a very comfortable 36 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for swimming even in winter, which was excellent. Overall, you can stay at this hotel, but don't have high expectations for the service."

"I booked a King Room with an ocean view. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. The minibar items were complimentary, except for the premium bottled water and wine (though no wine was provided in the room). A deposit of MOP 1,000 was required at check-in, which was fully refunded upon checkout. The hotel also offered free shuttle buses to major hotels and key departure points across Macau. The concierge, Charles, was particularly helpful in advising us on the correct shuttle bus number to reach our intended destination."

"Check-in took way too long. When I booked, Trip.com showed that Grand Lisboa Palace offers 3 PM check-in. We arrived at the hotel at 2:40 PM, planning to shower and rest a bit before heading out in the evening. However, we were told our room wasn't ready and we'd have to wait an hour and a half. So, we walked around the mall and garden. At 4:30 PM, we checked again, and they said it still wasn't ready, another 30 minutes. We were getting sleepy from all the walking, and finally checked in at 5:30 PM. That's a solid two and a half hour delay. After complaining online, Grand Lisboa Palace only offered a small fruit platter as an apology, and nothing else. As for the hardware, I found the bed a bit too soft, which gave me a backache. The soundproofing in the room was mediocre; I could clearly hear people talking in the hallway. The shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom were bolted down, as if they were afraid guests would take them. Service-wise, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing either – just average."

It boasts 385 well-appointed rooms, including standard rooms, deluxe rooms, and suites, offering a spacious and comfortable environment. The hotel enjoys a prime location with easy access to the light rail, ensuring convenient transportation for guests. Additionally, the hotel is just around 10-minute drive from Macau International Airport and Taipa Ferry Terminal, making it an ideal choice for tourists seeking leisure, vacation, or concert experiences.

"This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. It's not too far from Galaxy Macau, and a 10-minute walk to Rua do Cunha. There's a bus stop 200 meters away where you can catch a bus for MOP$6 to Senado Square. A light rail station 500 meters away offers MOP$6 rides to Hengqin Port, MOP$10 to the airport, and also connects to Galaxy, Venetian, and Wynn hotels. The hotel's price is generally 1/2 to 1/3 of what those hotels charge. They also have a shuttle to the Venetian, though seats can be limited. The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and had a nice view. The shower water was comfortable. The front desk service was excellent; I left my watch in the room, and they even called (which I missed) and then texted me about it. Highly recommend for those on a budget."

THE KARL LAGERFELD features 271 rooms and suites, all innovatively designed by the eponymous fashion designer himself with a reimagined concept that integrates Chinese art with Western and Art Deco aesthetics. Exuding the designer's rock-chic style, every element in the hotel was personally conceived or selected by Karl Lagerfeld, offering guests an exclusive, immersive glimpse into the unrivalled creativity and unique aesthetics that redefined the mastery of hospitality design.

"To sum it up: This hotel is amazing, and I'll only stay here when I visit Macau again. Honestly, I had stayed at the Andaz the day before and moved here, so the contrast was stark. The Karl Lagerfeld Hotel far surpasses others in every aspect, whether it's the room design, the quality of towels and bathrobes, the bedding and carpets, or the quality and taste of the breakfast. Even the staff's service capabilities, enthusiasm, and professional problem-solving skills are top-notch. I had actually lost faith in Macau; besides shopping and casinos, nothing else really appealed to me, especially after being disappointed by a few hotels. However, my experience at The Karl Lagerfeld and the authentic Picasso exhibition upstairs has made me want to visit Macau again. It's truly wonderful. Since leaving, I've already talked about The Karl Lagerfeld Hotel with my partner two or three times. It's genuinely a great place to stay, and I'll definitely stay here again next time. The experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend it for couples. Even a small design detail in the room can spark a long conversation, definitely a relationship booster!"

"The views were truly amazing! I was pleasantly surprised. This time I stayed in a Sky Sea View King Room on the European Lakeside, and the 270-degree sea view was absolutely breathtaking! You could see the Macau Tower the moment you opened your eyes. The location is also very convenient, right next to the Grand Lisboa, and within walking distance of the Ruins of St. Paul's. The hotel's breakfast also tasted pretty good."

Established in 1970, Hotel Lisboa has the longest and richest presence in Macau’s hospitality history. The property also houses Dr. Stanley Ho’s extensive private collection of priceless art pieces.Besides the offering of luxurious accommodations, Hotel Lisboa brings to guests a premium dining experience with an extensive wine collection of over 17,000 labels from around the world.

"The location is excellent! It's right next to Wynn, which usually has the mesmerizing 'Tree of Prosperity' and 'Performance Lake' shows (though I missed them this time due to maintenance). Across the street is the Grand Lisboa. It's about an 800-meter walk to major attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's and St. Dominic's Church. On the way to St. Dominic's, you'll pass Chee Kei Egg Waffles – you absolutely *must* try one, they're the best I've ever had! Most of the attractions on the Macau Peninsula are within walking distance or just a few bus stops away. If you're not planning on visiting The Londoner or Venetian, this is the perfect place to stay. It's also about a 700-meter walk to MGM, where you should definitely try their complimentary bubble tea; it's quite good!"

"This hotel doesn't have a casino, so it's not as crowded. The restaurant is quite small, and while the breakfast selection isn't huge, it tastes decent. The room isn't big, but then again, the price isn't high either. The doorman was really enthusiastic; he helped me call a taxi for a long time, which was great! 👍 If you're heading to the airport, you can actually use the hotel's car service for 150, which is pretty close to the 100 it would cost to get there yourself. Overall, I'm quite satisfied, aside from feeling the room was a bit small. I'm planning to go back in March and have already booked again!"

Treasure Hotel is a hotel opposite to Macau International Airport and close to Cotai Strip. There are 23 floors and 654 guest rooms, including standard rooms, business suites, deluxe rooms, featured quad rooms and accessible rooms, to meet different needs of our guests. The decoration and design of Treasure hotel is based on the theme of European medieval armored knights, with a retro color tone of brown, gold and burgundy. The hotel also exhibits various 1:1 handmade armor models with reference to replicas of medieval ancient relics, as well as precious artworks from abroad. We hope our guests enjoy the atmosphere and feel like they are in a medieval art exhibition hall.

"The facilities are a bit old, and the soundproofing isn't great. Also, because it's so close to the airport, we couldn't open the windows, which led to a slight musty smell in the room. However, the big advantage is that it's just across the road from the airport, and it's super convenient to get to most places by light rail or car. For the price, I'd say it offers pretty good value for money."
