"For our May Day holiday, we chose the British Yacht Club again, and our stay was once again super satisfying! The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They even proactively upgraded me to a sea-view room for free, which was such a pleasant surprise. We stayed for two nights, and the environment and service were consistently excellent. It was comfortable and relaxing, offering great value for money. I'll definitely choose the British Yacht Club first for my next trip, and I highly recommend it to everyone!"

I saw many reviews online from families with children saying the rooms at Galaxy smelled of smoke. I emailed the hotel in advance, and our room had no smoke smell at all. Our request to be near the elevator was also perfectly accommodated. [Thumbs up] Housekeeping was also very prompt; they cleaned our room every day during our three-night stay, and any extra items we requested were provided immediately!
The only downside was that even after checking in early, the room wasn't available until after 3 PM. This might be due to the high occupancy rate!

GGuest UserAs an older, established hotel, it's really great. It's convenient for shopping, eating, and getting around. The most important thing is that the rooms are huge! Because the higher floors are under renovation, there's a smell in the elevators on those floors, and you can hear some noise in the rooms during the day. However, the hotel informed me about this beforehand. Since I wasn't mainly there to lounge at the hotel, the renovation hours from 9 AM to 8 PM were perfectly acceptable. It's highly recommended, and the service is excellent; everyone is very nice.

There are two bathrooms, one of which has a Jacuzzi tub and a massage shower. Overall, it felt just like home.

It's just a stone's throw from the Ruins of St. Paul's and right in front of Yaohan Department Store. Famous entertainment complexes like Grand Lisboa, Wynn, and MGM are easily reachable within 10 minutes. For trips to Taipa's Parisian Macao, Venetian Macao, Rua do Cunha, or Hac Sa Beach, bus number 25 will get you there for just six MOP.
The guest rooms boast an elegant and opulent European style. Although the hotel is older, the facilities are well-maintained and fully functional. While not overly spacious, the rooms are thoughtfully designed and comfortable, maintaining a respectable standard. The linens are like new, reflecting the hotel's high management standards, which truly deserves praise.
The cleanliness is impeccable, and the service is quite satisfactory, especially their excellent luggage storage service. What's particularly impressive is the complete absence of noise despite being in such a bustling area, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep – truly satisfying! The value for money is outstanding!
Around the hotel, the nearby streets and alleys offer a wide array of dining options, with various Chinese and Western restaurants to choose from. A dim sum restaurant is right around the corner, so you can fill up on breakfast before heading out to explore.
Due to other commitments, I only stayed for one night in a rush. This will definitely be my go-to hotel on my next visit!

LLitaidiWe spontaneously decided to visit Macau during the May Day holiday, and since we were traveling with a child, I looked for a hotel with convenient transportation. We entered through the Hengqin Port, took bus 25B to Grand Lisboa, and then it was just a few hundred meters walk to the hotel. The hotel's decor had a very authentic Macanese style, with a quaint charm. The room was spacious and cozy, and the cleanliness was excellent, with no missed spots and a very clean carpet. The breakfast, in particular, was truly outstanding. It felt like a proper breakfast restaurant, offering very authentic Macanese dim sum with substantial ingredients. Each person could order two steamed dishes and one noodle dish (rice vermicelli or regular noodles). The cream bun was delicious, even better than those from a bakery. The beef brisket ho fun was also very flavorful. The beef tripe and curry squid were fantastic, and the shrimp dumplings were packed with whole, large shrimp. It was truly excellent. Even at check-out, my child said they hadn't had enough of the breakfast yet.

At night, you get to soak in the sparkling city views, and with all the dining and entertainment options, the experience is truly extraordinary!

CCHANG WEI HAOThe price was actually quite good. The room was so cold that I didn't even need to turn on the air conditioning. However, the soundproofing was terrible; I could hear everything from the other rooms. If you can't stand that, don't choose this place. The front desk service was excellent, and the location was decent. The bathroom was clean, but it only had a fixed shower head, not a handheld one.

AAixingzoudemaoThe hotel is a bit old, so the facilities feel a bit dated, but the cleaning lady was very enthusiastic, and the linens were clean. There's renovation work going on in the building, so it was noisy. The absolute best thing about this place is its location. It's perfect for anyone looking to do a deep dive into Macau's casinos. Wynn and StarWorld casinos are right across the street, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the old and new Grand Lisboa. After clearing customs at Gongbei Port, you can take the free shuttle bus from Wynn or StarWorld directly here. I'll definitely stay here again next time, and I'm sure by then the renovations will be finished and the room facilities improved.
