"🌊 Great Service and Beach Location, But a Few Things to Know! We had a mixed but overall good experience here, mostly thanks to the wonderful staff. The Positives & The Room ✨ The service here is genuinely good! We originally booked a standard Twin room, but the hotel kindly upgraded us to a Family room. The upgraded room was absolutely awesome—very big, comfortable, and perfectly clean. Even though the hotel building itself feels a little bit old and dated, the spacious room really made up for it. Location & Beach 🏖️ The hotel is located right by the sea, which is beautiful. There are a few cafes right on the beach, though keep in mind their menus are quite limited. Also, unless you are visiting during the peak hot summer season, you won't be able to swim in the ocean because of the weather. The Downsides: Pool & Noise 🚧 Since we couldn't swim in the sea, we were hoping to use the pool, but unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed. I highly recommend contacting the hotel to check if the pool is operating before you book! The biggest issue during our stay, however, was the noise. There was active construction going on, and they were constantly fixing the roof next door. It was quite noisy and definitely disrupted the peaceful beach vibe. Bottom Line: A great beachfront location with excellent service and spacious rooms, but definitely double-check the pool and construction status before your trip! "The shower room exploded at 12:00 in the middle of the night. Fortunately, I was too tired to take a shower that day. Although they changed the suite for us, they did not immediately offer to change the room for us. We took the initiative to change the room. The duty manager did not show up. I packed my luggage in the middle of the night and carried my luggage to change floors. No one in the hotel took the initiative to help with the luggage. When I left the hotel the next day, no one apologized. They just pretended that nothing happened! For a big hotel, the management staff did not keep up with the basic training."

"First of all, the environment was very comfortable. Located near Tannan Bay, it's quite secluded, a guesthouse by the sea, truly quiet and pleasant. The space is large, with two floors and many other outdoor facilities. There are plenty of photo opportunities everywhere. There's a communal swimming pool, and some rooms also have private pools. The three of us sisters booked a room on the first floor. This place is perfect for families, couples, or groups of friends to stay for a few days. I especially loved the white boardwalk along the coast; the fishing boats in the distance were just right, and the afternoon light and view were amazing—so soothing! The cleanliness inside and out was impeccable, with no unnecessary clutter. The color scheme was also aesthetically pleasing. The service was attentive and thoughtful. Breakfast is available in both Chinese and Western styles, and they confirmed the breakfast options for the next day in advance. They were always ready to assist with any needs, and there was also welcome fruit and afternoon tea. There are many room types available; you can check out the different price ranges and room types. Overall, it was a very good experience, and the weather was fantastic too."

"I spent two days in Pingtan, and I have to give a huge shout-out to this hotel. It was truly a 'godsend' and a perfect transit point for exploring Pingtan! Before our trip, I contacted the hotel, and they proactively sent us a detailed guide for both the north and south routes. The itinerary for the attractions was clearly planned, even noting the best times to visit, which saved us so much time researching on our own. The hotel's location is at the junction of the north and south routes, just an 8-minute drive from Pingtan Station. Driving to all the scenic spots was easy with clear roads and no traffic, which was perfect for us self-drivers. On the first day, we took the north route: saw the sea erosion wonders at Xianrenjing, explored the stone houses in Beigang Village, and enjoyed continuous ocean views along the most beautiful環島路 (Huan Dao Lu, island-circling road). In the evening, we rushed to Changjiangao Windmill Farm to catch the sunset. The silhouettes of the windmills against the orange sea were breathtaking. We returned to the hotel relatively early, so we went for a swim in the indoor heated pool. It's open until 11 PM, which was so thoughtful – being able to relax after a full day of sightseeing was fantastic. On the second day, we took the south route: woke up early to visit Houyan Island, marking the 68-nautical-mile point, the closest place on mainland China to Taiwan. The sea views were expansive and great for photos. It was too hot around noon, so we went back to the hotel to rest. In the afternoon, we went to Tannan Bay to walk on the sand and enjoy the sea. In the evening, we wanted to try our luck chasing the 'blue tears' phenomenon. The front desk even helped us check the probability for that night, and although we didn't see any, their attentiveness was a huge plus. After a tiring day of sightseeing, it was so relaxing to stroll in the hotel garden, with only the sounds of insects and birds around. It truly felt like a vacation, and my mind and body relaxed. From the tour guide to the convenient transportation, the hotel thought of everything for us, making our trip easy and stress-free. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Pingtan!"
