"🌊 Great Service and Beach Location, But a Few Things to Know! We had a mixed but overall good experience here, mostly thanks to the wonderful staff. The Positives & The Room ✨ The service here is genuinely good! We originally booked a standard Twin room, but the hotel kindly upgraded us to a Family room. The upgraded room was absolutely awesome—very big, comfortable, and perfectly clean. Even though the hotel building itself feels a little bit old and dated, the spacious room really made up for it. Location & Beach 🏖️ The hotel is located right by the sea, which is beautiful. There are a few cafes right on the beach, though keep in mind their menus are quite limited. Also, unless you are visiting during the peak hot summer season, you won't be able to swim in the ocean because of the weather. The Downsides: Pool & Noise 🚧 Since we couldn't swim in the sea, we were hoping to use the pool, but unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed. I highly recommend contacting the hotel to check if the pool is operating before you book! The biggest issue during our stay, however, was the noise. There was active construction going on, and they were constantly fixing the roof next door. It was quite noisy and definitely disrupted the peaceful beach vibe. Bottom Line: A great beachfront location with excellent service and spacious rooms, but definitely double-check the pool and construction status before your trip! "It's a privately owned hotel-style guesthouse; there's an elevator, the rooms are well-designed and spacious; the air conditioning is very effective, even in the largest room, the air conditioning was so good that I slept well under a thick quilt, and there was no feeling of the dampness typical of the seaside; the pillow height was also just right; the room was very clean; disposable bath towels and face towels were provided; the tissues were of good quality, soft yet resilient, and felt nice to the touch; there were only a few parking spaces in front of the hotel, first come, first served 😛, and if there were no spaces, the owner would take you to another location; adding the hotel on WeChat would inform you of the location and time of the bioluminescent plankton appearance in the evening, and I was very grateful that I succeeded on my first attempt 🤩; if I had to make a suggestion, I would like to hope that more pillows or chair backrests could be added, as there is currently only one pillow per person and no backrest on the sofa, so it's not very comfortable to sit on;"

"This hotel is located in Aoquian Road, Taiwan Town, less than 5 km from Pingtan County, and it's really quiet and pleasant. It's perfect for self-driving tourists. It's a two-story new building with large, high-ceilinged rooms and good facilities. The only minor issues were that the central air conditioning wasn't very effective at dehumidifying, and breakfast was a bit simple. Overall, the rooms are exceptionally spacious and nice, the customer service is great, and the price isn't high. I'm very satisfied!"

"Golden Yong Ya Ge is our top pick for a family vacation in Pingtan with kids! It's just a stone's throw from Longwangtou Beach, making it super convenient for digging in the sand and chasing the 'blue tears'. The hotel has its own kids' playground, which kept our little one entertained all afternoon. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast had a great selection of pastries that the kids loved. The front desk staff were really friendly and even provided complimentary sand-digging tools. Plus, parking is free and there are charging stations available. Our whole family had an amazing experience – highly recommend for families with children!"

"I came to Pingtan with my elderly parents and chose the Tianji Hotel. Its location is super convenient for getting around. The lovely lady at the front desk saw my parents and proactively upgraded our room. The room was clean, tidy, and had no strange odors, plus there were free snacks! The parking lot is on the ground level and has multiple charging stations, which was very convenient for charging our car. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit."
