Pingtan County Luxury Hotels

"This was my first time bringing my child to Pingtan, and I absolutely recommend staying at the Guohui Hotel as a family-friendly option – it's fantastic! I found it online, and there were many genuine positive reviews on Ctrip. We were two women with two 3-year-olds. The family room was huge, and the kids loved it, especially the small tent 🏕️, the little horse, panda, and bear 🐻 they all wanted to play with. There's also a large bathtub, and the view from the 27th floor is amazing. The playground on the first floor and the large outdoor pool with a water park were big hits too. I have to specifically mention the food: the rice noodles and regular noodles at the breakfast buffet were incredibly delicious 😋, especially if you add the meatballs – they were heavenly 😋! In the following days, none of the other places we ate at had meatballs as good as these. The kids loved the food too, and the cute bowls and plates were a nice touch. The hotel was very clean, and they were thoughtful enough to provide a child's toilet seat and installed two bed rails for us. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Tian'ao (South Line) and 30-50 minutes from the North Line by taxi. Since the north and south lines are quite far apart, choosing this hotel, as recommended by other netizens, was a brilliant decision. The food was excellent too. After enjoying the beach on the South Line, it was so comfortable to take a taxi back, wash up, and go to sleep. The hotel's pick-up service was also fantastic 👍. Traveling with children and luggage can be exhausting, but the driver met us right at the one-stop station, and we had a comfortable ride in a 6-seater commercial van. I didn't take many photos, so you can find pictures online. I just wanted to share my honest experience. We also booked a B&B in the North for the same trip, and it was more expensive but genuinely inferior to Guohui in terms of both food and accommodation. After all, one is by the sea and the other is in the county town, but everything was convenient for eating. Speaking of which, I have to roast 'Feipo Feizai Chichi' (a restaurant). They offer free hotpot bases if you post on Xiaohongshu – no wonder good marketing slogans are made that way! It was scorching hot inside, and we almost got heatstroke eating there because there was no air conditioning. It was like a big seafood market. The stir-fried dishes looked good in pictures, but they were nowhere near as tasty as the seaside stalls."

Relax on the swing and gaze at the tranquil sea, reconnecting with nature in a way you haven't felt in a long time – it's truly romantic. Inside, the technology is modern; I recommend turning on the air purifier. A simple breakfast is provided, enough to fill you up. Ordering takeout can be a bit tricky, but the front desk staff will happily retrieve it for you. When you're out exploring the beach or swimming, make sure to keep your room card safe to avoid losing it and causing unnecessary hassle. 😅"

"To be honest, I've always had some preconceived notions about homestays, but this one genuinely changed my mind. The overall environment is really good, and the service is absolutely fantastic. They lend out sand-digging tools, can tell you where to find 'blue tears' (bioluminescent plankton), and even notify you about daily tide times. The best part is, they offer a free photo shoot and give you three photos, and they're genuinely beautiful (much better than what you'd get from a random street photographer). There's also a pool, but it was too cold to go in that day. They have plenty of parent-child activities too; my child made fridge magnets and painted pictures to take home. It was a very enjoyable experience!"

He patiently explained all the hotel services and enthusiastically recommended local attractions and must-visit spots. His service was professional and thoughtful. "Highly recommended! This B&B boasts an unbeatable location right in the heart of the most beautiful scenic coastal road. The pool and windmill sea view are absolutely stunning and perfect for photos. My room offered direct sea views, and the facilities were top-notch. They even provided complimentary drinks in the fridge! The place was spotless and comfortable, and the service was incredibly attentive. My stay was a perfect 10/10, and I'll definitely be back for the Dragon Boat Festival!"

The service was quite proactive, the hotel facilities were quite rich, the breakfast was to our taste, the hotel swimming pool was very clean, and I give it a thumbs up, it was heated indoors. "First of all, the environment was very comfortable. Located near Tannan Bay, it's quite secluded, a guesthouse by the sea, truly quiet and pleasant. The space is large, with two floors and many other outdoor facilities. There are plenty of photo opportunities everywhere. There's a communal swimming pool, and some rooms also have private pools. The three of us sisters booked a room on the first floor. This place is perfect for families, couples, or groups of friends to stay for a few days. I especially loved the white boardwalk along the coast; the fishing boats in the distance were just right, and the afternoon light and view were amazing—so soothing! The cleanliness inside and out was impeccable, with no unnecessary clutter. The color scheme was also aesthetically pleasing. The service was attentive and thoughtful. Breakfast is available in both Chinese and Western styles, and they confirmed the breakfast options for the next day in advance. They were always ready to assist with any needs, and there was also welcome fruit and afternoon tea. There are many room types available; you can check out the different price ranges and room types. Overall, it was a very good experience, and the weather was fantastic too."

"I debated for a long time whether to stay in the county town or here. Initially, I thought the county town would be more convenient for dining and shopping, but after careful consideration, I settled on this place. Pingtan's attractions are mainly concentrated in the northern part, and staying in the county town would be too far from them, making commuting a hassle and detracting from the seaside vacation vibe. This location is close to Jing Sha, Changjiang Ao, and Wuya Hai, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The actual environment far exceeded my expectations; I could see the stunning wind turbine sea from my room. Plus, there's a private courtyard that's quiet and comfortable, offering a welcome escape from the bustling city. And if you're just looking for food, there are plenty of options nearby.
