Pingtan had always been on my travel list, and I finally decided to visit last minute. I spent a long time choosing a hotel. Actually, for a summer trip to Pingtan, I'd highly recommend picking a hotel or guesthouse and staying put for a few days, only venturing out to see the sea and take photos in the evening, because it's simply too hot and sunny! We rented a car at 12:30 PM, drove around for half a day, and arrived at the guesthouse at 8 PM. As soon as we got out of the car, a butler was there to help with our luggage! The pure white building looked beautiful even at night. Next to it was the Windmill Sea restaurant, where you could hear live singers and enjoy the breeze – it was so comfortable! After checking in, my child immediately changed into a swimsuit and headed to the pool; they were absolutely thrilled! The hotel also provided swim rings, which was very convenient. There was also a water park, which unfortunately we didn't get to experience. For breakfast, you could choose between beef noodles (which were actually rice vermicelli), beef ramen, or congee. I'd recommend the beef ramen. Besides the set meal, you could also pick fruits, juices, salads, etc. The beef in the ramen tasted very fresh! If you could get a window seat, eating while overlooking the Windmill Sea was an even better experience! After breakfast, we booked a travel photoshoot. The photographer delivered the photos incredibly fast, surprisingly so! The kids then played in the soft play area for a long time. The hotel also has a gym and a craft room, and you can participate in hotel activities, especially for kids – they can easily spend an entire day there during the summer without even leaving the hotel. It's a shame we didn't try the afternoon tea. The hotel also creates a 'island friends' WeChat group, offering services like ordering barbecue at night, which can even be delivered directly to your room – perfect for those who just want to chill out! The only downside of the hotel is the soundproofing. Fortunately, the hotel prohibits children from playing in the water after 10 PM and even provides earplugs and eye masks, so it's not a huge concern. The bed was very comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep! We had to leave early due to an approaching typhoon, which was sad. My child said she wants to come back again; she absolutely loved it!

I started planning my trip last year but never had the time until after May Day this year, when I finally went to Pingtan! Let's talk about the hotel; it was genuinely great! The service was excellent, the hygiene was impeccable, the environment was lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. Even the restaurant food was well-cooked! It's located right at Longwangtou. On the first day, we explored the northern route, and on the second day, the southern route. On the third day, we covered all the spots we hadn't found yet. We even went chasing the 'blue tears'! First off, let me talk about the service. I'd give the staff a perfect score. We arrived quite late on the 26th, and they even called us to check in, which is something very few hotels do! Secondly, the staff were all incredibly, incredibly, incredibly nice. They'd always acknowledge you when you walked by. The breakfast selection was also extensive, and the aunties (staff) were all wonderful. I especially want to mention the room – they upgraded us because we had a child, and it was very spacious. It's also extremely close to the seaside scenic area. We'll definitely consider staying here again next time.

Outstanding service! Every team member we encountered was cheerful and went out of their way to be helpful. They suggested a dining place and showed us to get there. In the evening I asked if I could get some more candy, and a girl from reception brought me a whole bunch of their signature gummies and cookies! Their energy and eagerness to assist with anything we needed made a huge difference. We had an urgent change in our plan and the hotel staff helped us a lot. The design is just amazing! Rooms are quiet, clean and artsy. We were enjoying every bit of it, every detail! And the location is nice as well. Everything was perfect! The staff is a true highlight of the hotel! I wish this hotel prosperity and I hope many more people will enjoy their stays just as we did.

It was difficult because of the language barrier, but thank you for helping me in real time through WeChat. The accommodation with a view of the windmill was really nice, and it was spacious and comfortable, so I had a comfortable stay. The only regret was that the towels were disposable, which was a little inconvenient. It was a Chinese holiday, so there were a lot of people, and the traffic control was severe, so it was difficult, but if you avoid the national holiday, it seems like it will be a very leisurely trip. The hygiene is meticulously maintained, with no strange smells, and it's quiet at night. The service is thoughtful and meticulous, and all needs are responded to in a timely manner. The value for money far exceeds hotels of the same price point.

The hotel's location is great, just across the road from the beach. I could go for a swim and watch the sunrise in the morning, and go again in the afternoon. The only downside was that they stopped allowing swimming at 6 PM, which was a bit too early and cut our fun short. Luckily, the hotel staff were very helpful; they kept telling us how to go chase the 'blue tears' (bioluminescent plankton), which made it still worthwhile.

It was a very satisfying experience. Although there was nothing to do as a result of Typhoon Shantol, the only activity was to climb to the top of the mountain observation deck with my parents, but we were almost blown away by the typhoon. But the B&B is really impeccable, the food is delicious, the rooms are great, and the service is beyond praise. If I have the chance to come to Pingtan again, I will undoubtedly choose his place first.
