Pingtan Xinghai International Hotel

This hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of the county, very close to Longwangtou Beach. The front desk staff were also very friendly. From the room, you can directly watch the sunrise, and parking is super convenient. There are many restaurants nearby. The front desk even upgraded us to a family room when they saw we had a child with us, which was absolutely fantastic!

The hotel offers convenient access to transportation, with many car rental options nearby. I was very satisfied with my stay. I booked a sea-view room, and waking up to watch the stunning sunrise was an absolute highlight. I loved it!

This hotel is the closest to Longwangtou Beach. My room was on the 16th floor with a fantastic sea view, perfect for watching the sunrise and then going back to sleep. The room was recently renovated this year, so it feels newer than the Jin Yong Ya Ge hotel, and the toilet and shower are separate. Getting in and out with a car was convenient as they registered my license plate. There are many food stalls along Longfeng East Road and Xihang Road nearby, which are lively at night. I recommend 'Wula Buhuan' (a spicy food stall) and 'Pingtan Haiwei' (a seafood stall). The downsides are that breakfast was quite average, not as good as Ya Ge's, and I don't recall seeing a gym.

Location: Great spot. The views are expansive, and it's super close to Longwangtou Beach. On a clear day, you can catch the sunrise in the morning. Service: Excellent. - The front desk arranged the best sunrise-view room for me and even included a complimentary breakfast. - The auntie (staff member) was very kind, showed me several rooms, and brought some delicious fruit. Food: The buffet breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices, and the food was fresh and tasty.

After staying in a guesthouse on our first night, we decisively switched to a hotel for the second – and the difference was incredible! The room was spotless, and the hotel's central location in the county town was incredibly convenient, especially since we were traveling with kids. Eating out was a nightmare when we were at the guesthouse. Parking here was also a breeze, and they even had charging stations.

We drove here ourselves and were really impressed when we saw the bridge. I'd visited Pingtan once before, several years ago, and it's definitely improved a lot. This hotel we stayed at was great. My first impression upon entering was how polite the staff were. After checking in, I found the room to be very clean. It's also a short walk to the beach, which is a huge plus. Very satisfied overall!

After checking in, we immediately headed out for the Northern Route. It started pouring rain as soon as we arrived there. We took two quick photos and then came back to spend the rest of the day at the hotel. The hotel has a pretty decent gym downstairs, and the room was kept very clean. Plus, the TV had screen mirroring, which was a nice touch. Good facilities overall.

The hotel's facilities are quite comprehensive, with a laundry room and gym on the first floor. The laundry is self-service. There are 4 elevators, so you don't have to wait too long to go up or down. The elevators are very convenient. The rooms have also been redecorated, and there's a hotel restaurant downstairs where you can order food without even leaving the building, which is perfect for lazy guests.

We were very satisfied with our stay. Our friends had stayed here before and recommended it to us. We brought our child along. The room didn't have any strange smells, which some reviews mentioned, so that was good. The breakfast staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, and check-in at the front desk was quite fast. Parking was also super convenient.
