"I checked into Bernar today. The room rates looked really appealing right after the May Day holiday, so I decided to give it a try! However, promotion is one thing, and the actual experience is another. Let me share the pros and cons. Pros: 1. The front desk service was quite proactive. Before I even arrived, they called to ask for my estimated arrival time. During check-in, they informed me of all the important details and even offered a free room upgrade. While it was an upgrade, I didn't notice anything particularly special about the room size or decor. 2. Parking was convenient. There were plenty of public parking spots right outside, probably because it's the off-season, so it wasn't crowded at all. Cons: 1. The room felt a bit compact. There was no dedicated wardrobe, and the hot water from the sink faucet was incredibly slow, taking about 20 seconds to come out – quite amusing, actually! 2. Breakfast was rather simple. They offered 3-5 hot dishes, fresh noodles, juice, peanut soup, some slightly stale bread and cakes, and mostly egg-based items like braised eggs, boiled eggs, and fried eggs. Honestly, nothing else was particularly noteworthy. Overall, breakfast was pretty average. 3. Soundproofing wasn't great. I could easily hear what the couple next door was up to – a bit awkward, to say the least!"

"I booked a family room on the 8th floor, but the elevator only goes to the 7th floor, so I had to carry my luggage up one flight of stairs. The room was listed as 40 square meters, but half of that was actually balcony space, so the room itself wasn't very big. The balcony only had a door, no windows that could be opened, so ventilation was only possible by opening the door. The room had a strong odor, which improved the next day, probably left by the previous guest. The shower stall only had half a glass partition, so shower water splashed into the bathroom, and my slippers got soaked. Despite being advertised as part of the Jinjiang Group, it felt like a privately owned hotel. The hotel provided children's toothbrushes and slippers, and there was a crushed spider on the sole of one of the slippers. Considering the low price, I just wiped it off myself. On the third day, I moved to a room on the 6th floor. The layout was more open, but there was a hole in the ceiling, and the bathroom floor and walls were covered in hair. I accidentally got a small bloodstain the size of a 10-cent coin on myself during my period. I informed them, and they compensated me 30 yuan. These days, bloodstains aren't difficult to clean, and the area wasn't large; it's usually considered normal wear and tear for a hotel, so asking for compensation was a bit unpleasant. Aside from that, the service was okay, and the front desk provided free bottled water. The location is about 2km from the beach, which isn't a short walk, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby."

The hotel room is large, clean, dry and wet separation, smart toilet, and equipped with disposable toilet pads. Although it is a family hotel, it can be said that it is very carefully arranged. The room has no smell and no bugs. The bedding is comfortable and it is cotton fabric. It will pierce the sound without turning over and affecting sleep. The projector looks comfortable. The hot water is good and the water is smooth. A little bit not soundproof, the shower pipe next door is loud. There is a laundry room, very large, four washing machines are lined up in one word, there is no queue to wash clothes. There is a parking place at the door. The service is warm and thoughtful, and a few steps at the door will help with luggage."
