"The hotel's location is excellent; it's right near the subway exit, just across a pedestrian bridge. The cleanliness is superb, and I was very satisfied with the overall hygiene. The room was incredibly quiet. The bathroom has a smart toilet, and the windows are standard. The curtains are also great. The only minor drawback is that the shower area only has a curtain instead of a glass screen, so a little water might splash out. There are many dining options nearby; I recommend the Peking duck place called Ziguang something."

Hotel near Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing
The original location of the hotel, Yueweizhuang, was one of Mr. Ji Xiaolan's residences in Beijing in his later years, and it was also an important place for him to create "Notes on Yuewei Caotang". Adjacent to the Forbidden City, Wangfujing Business Circle and along Chang'an Street, it can walk to cultural landmarks such as Nanluoguxiang. The subway hub is close at hand, which embraces the prosperity and tranquility of the ancient capital. Inheriting the orthodox regulation of the Beijing school courtyard, the courtyard retains the traditional architectural structure of the old Beijing courtyard with a central axis symmetry pattern. The gray tiles, blue bricks, carved beams and painted buildings still hide the charm of the ancient house. At the same time, it integrates cultural display elements, continues the cultural memory of the old Beijing courtyard, and allows guests to immerse themselves in the feelings of the old Beijing courtyard. And the cultural style. The hotel is transformed from two hundred-year-old courtyards, with a total of 59 elegant guest rooms, ranging from 35 square meters to 200 square meters. It is a rare courtyard private bath resort in Beijing. Create a variety of room types to adapt to different travel needs. The exclusive butler will follow up the whole process 24 hours a day, from check-in courtesy, itinerary customization to catering private banquets, and provide one-on-one exclusive services. The hotel was built with fine investment, and every detail was carefully carved, focusing on building three characteristic public areas: · The cultural corridor displays the life imprints of literati in the Qing Dynasty and the historical and cultural materials of Dongcheng, so that Chinese and foreign guests can immerse themselves in the cultural heritage of the ancient capital; · Rooftop viewing cafe, you can enjoy the staggered scenery of the blue bricks and gray tiles in the courtyard; · The traditional Chinese medicine massage spa hall hires a famous non-genetic massage teacher in Beijing to soothe the physical and mental fatigue of travelers in the traditional way of health care. In addition, the hotel is also equipped with a gym, a multi-functional conference room, an elegant tea room, a boutique gift gallery, a restaurant, an executive lounge, a bar, a business box, a laundry room and other facilities to meet the diverse needs of guests in an all-round way. As a luxurious secret place under the roots of the imperial city, it perfectly integrates the thousand-year-of-year courtyard of Beijing with the traditional culture of Beijing, achieving a unique model of travel and residence.

"The room was spotless, small but perfectly formed, and very thoughtfully designed – we had a really comfortable stay. It's super convenient for exploring, with easy access to transport and plenty of small eateries. The whole street is lined with old 'Siheyuan' courtyard houses, which gives it a lot of local character. According to the staff, the hotel building itself is actually a heritage site, the former residence of Mr. Ji Xiaolan – hoping some of his wisdom rubbed off on my son! 😊 We also got to participate in a Dragon Boat Festival activity and made sachets. Very satisfied with everything; the service was excellent, all the staff were polite and proactive, and the complimentary tea and pastries were beautiful. Breakfast was also outstanding. Highly recommended."

"The rooms were exceptionally good. The front desk staff even gave us complimentary breakfast. Hotel near Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area,Beijing
Welcome to the exquisite creation of Huajiantang, a brand under Huazhu Group. The hotel is located in the heart of Beijing's political and cultural center, on the southern part of the city's central axis, south of the cultural landmark, the Temple of Heaven. It is rich in the historical heritage of the Ming and Qing imperial roads and is home to 16 century-old brands such as Liubiju and Neiliansheng, forming a unique business model of "traditional time-honored brands vs. international fast fashion", for instance, Ruifuxiang is next to H&M, presenting both historical charm and youthful vitality. The hotel embodies the secluded aesthetics of imperial gardens with the concept of "Great Seclusion in the Palace": creating a residence "hidden in the imperial city" around the Forbidden City, allowing guests to experience the "leisure of emperors" rather than the standardized services of traditional hotels. "The Back Garden of the Forbidden City": drawing inspiration from the Imperial Garden and Qianlong's study, it creates an elegant living scene of "court scholars". The Forbidden City represents "solemnity", while Huajuntang excels in "lightness" - the combination of the two enables guests to touch history in a more relaxed way, beyond mere sightseeing and photo-taking. "A contemporary scholar's residence that brings the Forbidden City down from its pedestal."

"I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone because of their service and manipulations. We booked Elegant Superior double room for four nights (744 $), but when we check-in they told us that they UPGRADE our room. The room we got is standard double room, smaller room, without wardrobe and cheaper room!!! Their explanation was ”that room has a bath”, which we didn't wanted. They didn't refund us price different from room. The swimming pool is warking from 6 PM until 12 PM !?!?!?!?!?! It's not written on the booking site. We booked and paid in advance this room because of location and swimming pool. First they, after 17 hours of travelling from another part of world, we didn't used a pool because it was closed in the morning. Second night we were treated like a criminals!!! They organised PRIVATE PARTY at pool and guests of the hotel couldn't use the pool or other amenities. They even didn't allow us to use deckchairs and relax. We came wearing swimming suites and hotel's BATHROBE and they asked us are we guests?!?!? Like we are walking around Beijing wearing swimming suites and bathrobes while visiting swimming pools in random hotels. We contacted the reception staff, but they didn't solved the problem. 3rd night the weather was rainy. Last night we packed. So, we didn't used pool at all. Hotel is located on pedestrian road and they provided wrong address at booking site, so taxi driver picked us at airport and dropped us at the opposite side of the street and we have to drag our baggages for 10 minutes. So, if you want to be dropped at location nearby, use this one No. 49, Xianyu Kou Street, Qianmen Subdistrict - junction of Xianyu Kou street and Qianmen East Road. One minute from hotel. WiFi in hotel is quite bad. Most of time not working. Breakfast is various and those who like Chinese flavours can choose from lot of different meals. Really good and tasty fresh fruit every morning, really good. They have quite good coffee and tasty pastries. Rooms are clean, with good amenities. Beds are comfortable. Modern, stylish. Entire hotel is very clean. Location is perfect, especially if you want to be in the very centre of old town. The staff is polite, willing to help, but half-professional. They are capable of cheating and manipulating guests. They don't speak English, but they use AI translator, so it is easy to communicate with them. Besides the good location, modern and clean rooms, good breakfast, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone because of their attitude regarding foreign visitors."

"Overall, my stay was very satisfying. The hotel's location is a huge plus; there are all sorts of shops just a short walk away, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was spotless, every corner meticulously cleaned, and the bed was neat and clean, incredibly relaxing to lie on. All the in-room facilities were in good working order, the internet was fast, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with stable water pressure. The front desk staff were friendly and gentle, and check-in was simple and quick. They patiently answered all my questions. The hotel also has a self-service laundry area, which is really handy for washing clothes when you're on a long trip. They readily agreed to my request for a late check-out, so I didn't have to rush packing. Everything was to my liking, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time."

"The room was relatively clean and came with a fridge and a washing machine. However, the facilities weren't great. My charging head unexpectedly broke on a 3-day trip, and the front desk didn't have one, only shared power banks. There were no disposable razors either. It's close to the airport, which was convenient for departure, but it's also right on the flight path, so I wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers. The staff at the front desk, both the guy and the girl, were quite quick in delivering supplies. I had a 4:30 AM flight and was asked to check out before 2 AM. Overall, it was still pretty good."
