Great location - subway is 5 min walk. We liked service very much: everyone in the hotel is friendly and ready to help. Cleaning service is also very good. We stayed in a family deluxe room where there were enough space for 4 of us, big bathroom, comfortable beds and pillows. One minus about our room is the lack of storage space for clothes and different personal things.
Great breakfasts - wide variety of food and drinks, fruits, sweets, vegetables, fried eggs, yogurt and so on.
We thank the hotel staff for hospitality and nice service!

I have generally only good things to say about my experience. The incredible upgrade from 2 rooms to an apartment was great. Breakfast buffet was included in my rate of choice, and it has one of the most amazing breakfast spreads I have seen. Location was already central and walkable mostly in mall to 2 adjacent MRT stations accessing 3 key MRT lines.
I can only share one photo of 1 of the bedrooms, as the other room and my living room had my family inside. They even have fruit basket for me.
My main minor gripe was that I wish they could also have provided disposable face masks that we then had to find ourselves. Face masks could help with the cold of winter that we underestimated.
But all in all, it was really a great experience at Hyatt. Full marks !

The hotel’s location is unbeatable—situated in the heart of Beijing, it offers easy access to key attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation. The proximity to iconic landmarks like the Forbidden City and Wangfujing Street made exploring the city incredibly convenient.
Although the hotel is abit old, the room was spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean. The luxurious bedding to the thoughtful amenities, made it feel like a true retreat. The view from my room was also stunning, offering a glimpse of Beijing’s skyline that added to the ambiance.
Ambience at the hotel lobby was awesome. With a grand piano, high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows facing the garden.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. Every interaction was met with genuine warmth and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my comfort. From the concierge’s expert recommendations to the housekeeping staff’s meticulous attention, I felt well cared for throughout my stay.
The Regent Beijing exceeded my expectations in every way, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. I look forward to returning in the future!

The room is great, but I was unhappy with the service
1. During check in I was asked to make payment for the hotel despite prepayment being made, I had to show the staff that prepayment was made and The counter staff showed no apologies..
2. For the laundry service, the staff showed a lack of proactive, as the clothes were supposed to be FOLDED and return by next day 6pm.. which was not done, until I gave them a call and realized the payment has to be made first, despite me telling the staff (before passing them the clothes for washing)that I'll make payment upon check out(IN MANDARIN).
For a 5 star hotel like this, it is rather disappointing.. which I would not consider staying at Sofitel globally again.

Very fancy hotel in great location. Our room was high up and we had amazing view of the city, as well as the sunrise. We enjoyed the happy hour deal as well, but unfortunately weren’t able to see the sunset as clearly because of the windows. The food provided at the hotel was not good, but atleast looked pretty.

Room was clean and had amazing views. Staff greeted us downstairs late at night. Which was very helpful since it was our first time visiting. The lobby is on the 3rd floor and reception helped show us to our room. The staff spoke English and welcomed us late in the night at 1:30am. Very thankful for their help as we were tired and wary. The room was very comfortable with water, coffee, tea, and all amenities we would need. When checking out the staff escorted us down to the first floor and handed us off to our tour guide. Enjoyed our time here. Thank you to the staff.

The Aman Summer Palace is like living in a fantasy. If you love the Summer Palace but want to avoid the crowds this is your choice. They have their own private gate. The staff are so friendly and the service is just amazing. I would give them more than 5 stars for service If I could. I am an executive for Resort development with Universal and I got a lot of great ideas during my stay. It is very quiet and peaceful and especially at night. I also had one of the best massages I can recall with a Shifu massuer. I am not sure what herbs he was using and I was dubious at first; but the proof is in the results. You just have to stay here at least once in your life!

Great Wall Station Castle Boutique Hotel | Where Landscapes Become Your Pillow and History Your Bedfellow
Nestled among the peaks kissed by the first dawn light of Mutianyu Great Wall, Great Wall Station Castle Boutique Hotel awaits poetic souls with mountain ridges as its pillow and cloud seas as its canopy. This 5,000-square-meter stone castle, crafted by China's premier design team, lies merely a 5-minute walk from the Great Wall entrance. Serving as both a gateway to Jiankou Great Wall and Hongluo Temple, it emerges as a cultural sanctuary for urbanites seeking spiritual repose.
Embracing the "vessel of time" concept, designers harmoniously blend Ming Dynasty brick textures with smart home technologies. Twenty-four themed guest rooms stand as 24 crystallized poems - where old elm wood beams whisper centuries-old tales, custom lighting etches mountain silhouettes, and window frames transform the Great Wall's seasonal vistas into living murals. Each century-old furnishing, carefully curated by heritage restoration experts, breathes new life into contemporary spaces.
Redefining boutique hospitality, the castle creates multidimensional experiences:
• Sip wine under star-strewn skies on rooftop terraces overlooking serpentine battlements
• Immerse in Ming-Qing era intrigues through basement-level LARP experiences
• Survey the dragon-like wall's majesty via helicopter tours
• Corporate teams strategize in boardrooms before transitioning to open-air grill parties
• Families bond through playground laughter and curated parent-child activities
"True Great Wall immersion resides not beneath your feet, but within your heart." Through its humanistic warmth, this mountain-encircled temporal gateway invites guests to trace historical imprints while constructing their own spiritual fortifications. Here at the crossroads of eras, we await to co-create your contemporary rendition of "Spring Mountains in View" - an oriental poetic gathering for modern times

After comparing several hotels nearby, I chose Beiyuan Hotel! The room is quite big, and the windows are big enough. It is a state-owned hotel, and the design is quite good, and the space is fully utilized! The room is tidy and clean. I slept for a whole morning and went out, and they cleaned it considerately. They helped to send the clothes to the dry cleaners, and they were all dried and folded neatly and sent back to the room! This is not available in many hotels. Xiao Ou at the guest service center is also very considerate and patient. He also helped to carry things when changing rooms.
This is my second stay. The hotel staff has good manners and appearance and is professionally trained. The hotel is quiet in a busy area and has a good environment. The hot spring is clean and the water temperature can be adjusted. The breakfast is worth mentioning, which is rich and exquisite. The travel photography service is quite good value. The photographer is patient and friendly, will give professional advice, and the photos are also good.

GGuest UserThe room is very warm and stylish. It seems that care has been taken and all the little details have been considered. I met three front desk clerks, and their service was very enthusiastic, especially Xiao Wang. I had three meals at Fangen. They were delicious and reasonably priced. Will stay again. A little suggestion is to prepare some commonly used medicines, such as colds, etc.

JjonescassandraThe front desk staff helped us out from before we even got there until the moment we left. We did all our booking and traveling ourselves and the location on DiDi is in Chinese. We added the hotel on WeChat and they helped us find multiple ways to get there. They check on our well being and traveling status the entire trip until we arrived. When we arrived with DiDi they welcomed us with delicious food from the restaurant. They helped us with getting to the Great Wall and even helped us book our DiDi to the airport. When we left they gave us a small gift. The service I amazing for foreigners traveling to China without a tour group. The location is stunning and the room was so clean and comfy. Thank you for making our stay memorable ❤️. They also have an adorable cat who is very friendly.

PParinda N.I stayed at this hotel for one night during my trip to Gubei and the Simatai section of the Great Wall. I chose this hotel because it’s relatively large and offers great views. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, and the breakfast was impressively grand.
However, I encountered an issue with a neighboring guest smoking in their room, and the smell seeped into mine. I reported this to the hotel staff, but they were unable to resolve the problem.
Overall, while the hotel has many positive aspects, better enforcement of non-smoking policies would enhance the guest experience.

CCarolineYMWe just stayed at the Mumanyu villa at Brickyard and it was perfect in every way. First the location is less than 10 minutes by car to the wall and the hotel has a van and they will drive you. The hotel has a western restaurant and a Chinese restaurant both were fantastic. We had a nice buffet breakfast but you can also have breakfast in your villa if preferred. The grounds are awesome and very clean with lots of interesting art and furniture for lounging and relaxing. There was an art museum that we visited as well on the property. They have a spa and sauna and masseuse - we wanted to experience it all but didn’t stay long enough. The staff are exceptionally nice and we especially loved the manager, Stanley. He helped us with so many arrangements and made our stay a dream come true. We went to the wall multiple times and he arranged cars and reservations and a shuttle to and from Beijing. This property is one of a kind with the houses all in the village and the property is unique and very special. I will be back for sure and will tell everyone I know to come here. You will not be disappointed. Stanley will take care of you as will the whole staff. His English is perfect if you need any help navigating. Their Google website doesn’t work, but please email any questions to ******************************

GGuest UserWe had an amazing staycation at this hotspring resort. I was very impressed with the customer service we recieved. Everyone was incredibly kind and went out of their way to help. The staff has clearly had 5 star training.
I would like to make particular note of Mr. Lee at the front desk. Upon check-in, he served us and acknowledged that not all the staff spoke English and that we should contact him directly over Wechat if we needed anything. On several occassions I contacted him and he was prompt and curtious. He was a great ambassador for the hotel. For example, room service forgot chicken on on salad, and he promptly pologized and arranged for two new compelmentary salads to be sent (i believe this was an oversight as the hotel was very busy with a special chiristmas dinner that night).
It is common in Beijing for hotel staff not to speak English, however we did found several memebers of staff that did. For example. when we went to the dining hall, they sent an English speaker over to help us. Further, the dining hall manager checked in with us and personally cleared plates away. Buffet breakfast was above average with western and chinese food. Also, when ordering room service, though they did not speak English, they sent someone to our room with a menu so that we could point to the items we wanted.
Overall, the hotel is new and to Western standards of cleanliness and quality. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We were with my 2 month old baby and my 85 year old father, all generations enjoyed our time. The hot springs were very clean (not always the case in China) and they were alongside swimming pools with kids climbing apparatice and water ball pit. It was also nice that there were complementary refreshments (snacks and drinks) at the hot springs. In the winter air, the outdoor hotsprings were great.
Finally., though it wasnt a huge attraction, its nice to see the lammas, chicken and horses.
Overall, I could not recommend this place more. I will defintely stay again.

GGuest UserThis is my second time staying at Longxi Metropark. This time I brought my kids with me. The experience was just as good as before. It is really a treasure hot spring hotel. Every time I come, I feel relaxed and happy. There are few people, good service, and full coverage of food, drink, accommodation and entertainment. The room package includes unlimited hot springs and children's playground. It is really good. Unlike other hotels that only include one time, this is very humane. I especially want to praise Manager Wang Haiying for his warm and thoughtful reception. When I arrived, Manager Wang Haiying greeted me with a sincere smile and a warm greeting. I completed the check-in procedures quickly and efficiently, and took the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities and surrounding information. The details are thoughtful and professional, which also improved my stay experience. I hope Longxi Metropark will get better and better. I highly recommend it.

QQuin56Review: Stay Home
This trip was like an encounter with prehistoric man and a case study of a failed business combined.
If you book a standard room, you will be taken away from the five star reception area to another building which has the decor and standards of a thirty year old hotel. Faded carpets, peeling walls, smelly interiors, uncleaned floors and rooms which are impossible to heat. But it was just about liveable, in that it had a bed and hot water. What totally failed to impress were the amenities. We'd come for the children's stuff, the little zoo, water park and others. The price of these are not included in the hotel, and for each experience they charge adults and baby to the tune of 80rmb, meaning you will spend quite a bit to use it all. As soon as I saw the children's rides I became depressed, they were rusting and looked murderous, as if the nuts and bolts would be dislodged and explode fatally in all directions if a kid shook too heavily on the things. To even use anything suggested you'd become unclean as well. Then you attempt to ask staff something but stop when you realise how futile it would be to address someone with one eye in its forehead and the other in its chin, with their peers boasting similarly fascinating facial misalignments. An hour of that and we wanted to leave, including our baby. She would have been much happier at home playing with her toys, or rather just happy at home doing anything than being at the Nirvana resort. Anyway, the swimming pool is not free either, they will charge you 58 a person including child. When I went to ask about a swim, staff were downright stunned I'd walked in to ask such a question, watching as I entered and left with hillbilly intensity and incomprehension.
You can see the park had a lot of money invested in it before, way back in the misty past, but I can't see them recouping their losses. The resort is a grab money scheme with separate interests taking care of, or neglecting, what is on offer. I can't see them attracting a moneyed middle class without a total overhaul.
On the plus side, my wife and I did have a good laugh about how bad it was and the fact we'd packed for a few days in expectation of a holiday, but found ourselves cancelling after an hour. The reception was helpful with this and refunded our money. The staff are well meaning in a vacuous kind of way, going about their duties as the whole place drops about them, broken lifts, falling plaster, water leaks and all. But to be sincerely positive, the gardens are pleasant along with the lake and ducks.
GGuest UserJinyu Fengshan Hot Spring Resort is a great experience! As soon as you step into the hotel, you can feel the enthusiasm of the staff. From the front desk registration to the check-in, all kinds of needs can be responded to quickly. The service is professional and thoughtful, making people feel at home. The hotel's buffet is rich in variety, with Chinese and Western cuisines. Every bite can taste the high quality of the ingredients and the chef's care.
The hot spring area is a highlight of the hotel. Multiple hot spring pools with different functions are scattered in an orderly manner, with clear water and suitable temperature. Clean bath towels can be replenished in time. Soaking in the hot spring, feeling the steaming water wrapping the whole body, all the fatigue of the day will disappear. The surrounding environment is quiet and elegant, making people feel like they are in a paradise. In short, this hot spring hotel has achieved the ultimate in service, catering and hot springs.
What's more surprising is that there is a mountain behind the hotel, which is moderately difficult to climb and is very suitable for leisure hiking. Walking along the winding mountain road, there are green trees and birds singing along the way, and the fresh air is refreshing. After reaching the top, you can overlook the surroundings and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Ming Tombs Reservoir, which is refreshing. You can enjoy the comfort of hot springs and the fun of mountaineering. This trip is worth it! Highly recommended to friends who want to relax!
