CCJ-ZFWe stayed here for three nights with our kids during the May Day holiday, and the hotel environment was quite good overall. The hot springs, hiking, movies, and sports dome were all great, and there were plenty of activities for the children.
In terms of service, I felt that the vast majority of staff, about 95%, were well-trained, enthusiastic, and proactive. However, a few individual staff members lacked enthusiasm, particularly in the Chinese restaurant and at breakfast. My suggestion is for the breakfast kitchen staff to wear their masks consistently. Every morning I went, I noticed some wearing them and some not. For a hotel costing over 2000 yuan a night, there should be a certain standard. The breakfast itself was quite rich though, which I'd commend.
Furthermore, for family-focused hotels, it's mainly about the kids' activities, and I felt there were too many paid options. The kids' club should be better planned with different zones, and perhaps some free activities could be organized. Compared to Club Med, this aspect definitely falls short. Over a few days, we spent almost 2,000 yuan on kids' crafts and games. Given the beautiful outdoor natural environment, some outdoor children's activities could be organized. For indoor games, perhaps a complimentary session for in-house guests could be considered, especially since it's primarily for the children.
Finally, the Chinese restaurant. We ate there for all three nights. The food was genuinely delicious, but the prices were quite high for its location in Miyun. A single dish averaged around 200 yuan, and per person, it was generally over 300 yuan. The menu options were also a bit limited. I'd suggest enriching the menu and adjusting the prices slightly to offer better value for money.
The hot springs, sports field, and gym are all free, but very young children generally don't use them; it's mostly adults. Taking children there still largely involves paid activities. My overall recommendation is to improve the value for money, leverage the local natural resources and unique cuisine, and organize some distinctive family activities that adults can also participate in.

GGuest UserThe room environment is great, quite clean, and the location is very convenient. The recreation staff were very welcoming and gave us lots of tips for sightseeing. The package we bought included tickets, breakfast, and a decent dinner, all of which were excellent. All the hotel staff were very enthusiastic, and it was great value for money. The scenic area is beautiful, with wildflowers blooming everywhere this season, full of life, and not too many tourists. The local snacks in the area were delicious. I'll definitely come back here again, it's superb!

GGuest UserThis is a fantastic place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Universal Studio Beijing because it's very close to the park and offers a shuttle service by the hotel staff. The Harry Potter-themed decor makes this place unique, worthwhile, and truly memorable.
Each room has bathrobes and equipment available for free loan to the park, which is a major highlight.
The elderly staff member was very attentive, cheerful, and even drove us to the park or train station. There's a 500 yuan deposit required for check-in, which is refundable upon check-out. The place is located quite deep in a village, with no restaurants or food options nearby. If you plan to stay here, you'll need to eat your fill or bring your own supplies.

MMeiyincidufuHighly, highly recommended!!! Our group of four climbed Dongling Mountain this morning, and the scenery was so beautiful we didn't want to go back to Beijing. On a whim, we wanted to find a hot spring hotel nearby where we could relax and soak, and we found this one. The scenery was absolutely stunning!!! The entire village has excellent red-themed architecture and a very positive atmosphere. Even the small village museum's 3D video was quite good, creating a great ambiance, and in the morning, you could see the iconic red star right outside your window!! And the best part? The hot spring was incredibly relaxing! Enjoying a barbecue in the misty mountains, listening to the rain while soaking in the hot spring… friends, it was indescribably comfortable!!
The owner and the manager were very kind, providing us with free breakfast. After breakfast, we immediately bought two jars of the same fermented bean curd online—it was so delicious, hahaha!
In short, a perfect recommendation, we will definitely go again!!!

LLiqiThis hotel is beautiful and high-class, and the rooms are very spacious. Each room has both a bathtub and a shower, and the toiletries are excellent. Whether you're relaxing in your room watching TV or heading to the ground floor for the hot spring and swimming pool (a comfortable 25-meter pool with 31-degree water, indoor and outdoor hot springs, and complimentary snacks and drinks...), there's plenty to do. Outdoors, there's an adventure park with go-karts, alpaca feeding, and horseback riding – all great options for a holiday. The hotel has both Chinese and Western restaurants. During the holiday, the Chinese restaurant offered a few quick options as well as à la carte, and the Western restaurant served a seafood buffet for dinner. The food was delicious, with a wide variety for both breakfast and dinner, and the desserts were incredibly beautiful. The hotel service was excellent; the front desk staff were incredibly responsible and patiently answered all questions. The hot spring front desk staff were also consistently good; even before the name change, they were always enthusiastic and helpful in coordinating any issues (all the staff in the hot spring area were also warm, polite, thoughtful, and meticulous). It seems that whether it's a holiday or not, I've always received a welcome fruit platter and a white fungus and pear afternoon tea, which is a very thoughtful touch. This time, they even gave my child a small gift when we left, which was very touching. The room packages include meals or hot spring tickets, and hotel guests get a discount if they want to purchase the buffet or hot springs separately. It's a very welcoming hotel.

GGuest UserThe facilities are well-equipped. We visited during the May Day holiday, and it was incredibly crowded, but once the crowd dispersed a bit, it was manageable. The rooms are quite old but clean enough. Dinner was really good! Delicious, they had durian, crayfish, and crab, but there were just too many people.
The hygiene overall was good, both in the rooms and at the hot spring.
The environment is spacious, and there's a lot of room to explore, which is great.
The hot spring staff were okay, pretty good actually. However, I booked a room but wasn't assigned a butler, and no one introduced the activities, which wasn't a great experience. Plus, I couldn't get through to the front desk when I had an issue.
Overall, the room facilities are old, and the walls are peeling. And with the lack of service staff, I probably won't book a room here again. The Xishan Hot Spring itself is really good! I'll definitely come back for that!

When checking in, you need to register your vehicle to park in the underground parking lot 🅿️, otherwise, you might be charged a parking fee. We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. Complimentary fruit was provided in the room.

GGuest UserThis experience was a bit disappointing! First, the good points: the accommodation package included a high-quality afternoon tea set, and the staff were very friendly! Now for the not-so-good parts: I'm not sure if it was due to the increased traffic during the May Day holiday, but the room cleaning was unsatisfactory. There were hairs everywhere, on the sofa and in the corners of the walls. I wonder if the previous guest had a pet. We had to request a second vacuum cleaning!
The evening BBQ buffet was definitely something to avoid. I've never had such a terrible BBQ. It felt like an immature dish added on a whim without any proper menu development! There were no labels at the buffet counter, and all the BBQ items were mixed together. We had to ask the staff, who then had to ask the chef, and the chef would then explain each item one by one. It was basically a 'mystery box' buffet. The scallops were overcooked and a bit tough. There was no juice at the buffet, and a star-rated hotel actually served cold mixed noodles (liangpi)!
The worst part was that the BBQ meat and grilled tendon weren't fully cooked. They lacked chewiness and that grilled flavor; it was more like they were par-boiled first and then grilled. The overall temperature of the food wasn't very hot, and if you didn't eat it quickly at your table, it would get cold. The only highlight was that the crayfish were decent. The watermelon at the buffet wasn't as good as the watermelon in the afternoon tea set. The dinner menu was actually worse than breakfast.

During our stay, he was always prompt and professional, arranging everything from room type adjustments and hot spring reservations to restaurant bookings, and even patiently answering all our questions about the facilities. Everything was meticulously organized. His demeanor was humble and warm, with a friendly and natural smile. He was always quick to anticipate and fulfill our unspoken needs, showcasing incredible attention to detail in his service.
Overall, Brian's service was professional, meticulous, and genuinely warm, truly reflecting Marriott's high standard of service and humanistic care.
