I came out to play during the holidays and stayed at Manyuan B&B. The experience was really great. There are plenty of parking spaces at the door. The boss is very nice. Seeing that there are a lot of things, he also helped to carry the luggage enthusiastically and put it with care. Facilities: The positioning of B&B is different from that of hotels. It is to experience the feeling of staying in the suburbs. The room is very clean. The boss also thoughtfully prepared thick-soled slippers, which are much more comfortable to wear than disposable ones. Hygiene: The room is very clean Service: I told the front desk that the temperature has dropped recently and the weather is a bit dry, so I have to drink more water. As a result, as soon as I checked in and entered the room, there was double the mineral water in the room. The service is really attentive. The details are particularly well done. Environment: The location of the B&B is very close to Hongluo Temple. You can walk there and save parking fees. The coffee downstairs is also very delicious! Overall, it was a very pleasant stay experience. I will come again when I come to Huairou to play

Best location and service. You're in the middle of the hutongs, and can experience old Beijing by walking outside of the hotel. This location was definitely better than other hotels we've stayed at in Beijing, which might be located in more isolated high rises. The service at the hotel was also excellent. We loved the complimentary Old Beijing Yogurt and tanghulu made fresh by the staff. The room was modern and cool, but a little too dark for us. In the future, we'd opt for a room with a little more privacy (our windows opened out to the main courtyard). Definitely would recommend this hotel and stay again!

It took the taxi 20 minutes going in circles to find the place; we rang three times and the reception couldn’t tell him the address. Having limited Chinese I couldn’t help much either. I arrived eventually having stopped and asked two separate security guards at other entrances to the complex it is based in. It took three staff members 10minutes to understand my question ‘what time do I need to leave to get to the airport for 10am?’ - with the initial response being 7am (it’s 15 mins away). I was upgraded to a quiet end of corridor room which was appreciated. The water was hot and the bed supremely comfortable. On the downside the AC/heating funnelled in smoke from other rooms; the bathroom was dirty (hair and stains on the tub; smeared glass on shower; broken telephone hanging off wall; tiny toiletries (no good if a couple using room)). I couldn’t get the toilet to flush and it took a while to explain that in broken Chinese. The fridge has just one beer, one cola and one sprite. Breakfast was vast, predominately Chinese style but good. For me; paying over 1000rmb a night in an international hotel by the airport I expected better ability to communicate with staff; cleaner room with nicer amenities/supplies and not smelling smoke in a non smoking room. I am sure there are better options near the airport which I would look for next time.

This is the first time staying at this hotel. It is about 10 mins from Universal Studio and they have a free shuttle to take you there (7am and 8am) and one free shuttle back at night about 9:30pm. I do not speak Mandarin and paying with my WeChat and Alipay without a China phone number was not working for me so calling taxi and ordering food was difficult. Thanks to the hostess (园儿姐) things went smoothly. She sent her contact, shuttle bus info and the hotel passcode via WeChat. When I need to order food, she allow us to order food via her phone as she waited patiently for us. When we reimburse her for the food, we gave her a bit more money because she waited for over half an hour for us to order but she insist not a penny more. On our last day out, we left the hotel very early in the morning as we tried to get a taxi ourselves since the hostess was not in yet but we ended up having to WeChat her for help. The hostess told us not to worry because she can order a taxi for us. We told her we were waiting at the same spot where the shuttle bus to Universal Studio picked us. She actually ran all the way from her home ( she lived approx. half an hour away) to where we were and waited with us until we got on to the taxi and she spoke to the taxi driver in Mandarin so he knows which airport to take us to.Honestly, where do you get this kind of service? The hostess speaks a bit of English ( she is taking courses to improve her English) but if we don’t understand each other, we use Alipay translated or the translation app on her phone. I definitely will come back again. Oh, FYI, the hostess do not enter your room to clean unless she have your permission which is great because I do not need cleaning everyday. They also provide disposable face and bath towel which I don’t mind because you know it is sanitary. She also greet you with a nice big plate of watermelon even when our plane was delayed by 4 hours and we did not arrive till approximately 11pm (she waited for us). I think if we would have set up our WeChat with a Chinese SIM card life would have been easier. We only got a Chinese SIM card after we left Summer House. After that, ordering food, calling taxi and making mobile payment was possible. I am grateful that the hostess went out of her way for us else we would have no idea how to order food. A superb experience. The environment is super good. The boss is also very good. qwq! I was suppressed by the dusty sky in the city for a long time and then I went on an impromptu trip. Because I read Xiaohongshu and said that Pinggu had an abandoned temple, I wanted to come and see it, but I was not familiar with the road when I went to take pictures. The boss took me tossing T T everywhere. The homestay has a courtyard, a terrace and a kitchen, and! Because it is not a weekend or a tourist season, the whole homestay is just me (quack quack) pure social fear gospel (?) on the way back, I heard the driver say that there will be apricot flowers for a while. I don’t know if it is, but it seems that there is a peach blossom festival before and after May Day. The only downside is that there are a lot of equipment and The itinerary is too tight... When I was booking a room, I saw no reviews at all on Ctrip, which made me feel very uneasy. Unexpectedly, I was pleasantly surprised when I went there. First of all, the store is really Buddhist, and the promotion is not good. There is no sign downstairs, and the road is being built at the door. You must follow the navigation and do not follow the store's instructions for going up the stairs. The stairs are covered with weeds and it is difficult to walk. The B&B is in Japanese style and I particularly like the design. The overall environment was great. After the tourists left, we took over all the scenic spots. I saw rainbows, fireflies, and stars, and there was almost no light pollution around. There is a creek downstairs. This paradise is so hidden. The sports attributes are actually average, including archery and flying saucer which are quite fun. Other sports are subject to normal fees at the scenic spots below. The views of the mountains here are so beautiful, the summer scent is great, and the simple meals are great! Luggage will be checked at the door.

The hotel is near Desheng Bridge, next to Xihai, and the location is very convenient. But like many hotels in Beijing, breakfast is not included, which is a bit disappointing. Hygiene: Still relatively clean and tidy Environment: Relatively quiet Service: Polite Facilities: Just average. If you have high requirements for room size and facilities, you can consider other options. In summary, if you are considering finding a homestay in the city center, you can consider it, the price-performance ratio is OK.

Very cost-effective, good location, very convenient to go anywhere, the subway is one kilometer nearby, quiet and comfortable 😄 The boss is super nice, he helped to send the courier when I left something when I checked out, good reviews, good reviews 👍👍👍
