"My family and I drove to Beijing, and the first hotel we stayed at wasn't great. So, the night before, we came to check out this hotel. The front desk staff were very diligent and showed us the room types. We were very satisfied and immediately booked two rooms, deciding to move in the next day. The next afternoon, we went to the front desk, originally thinking we might have to wait a bit to check in. However, a male staff member at the front desk was very flexible; he upgraded us to a better room, and we were able to move our luggage in immediately. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and they even gave our two kids souvenir fridge magnets, which they loved. Our whole group decided that whenever we come to Beijing in the future, we'll stay here. The rooms are much more spacious than other hotels, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the vanity is large, which is very convenient for ladies to do their makeup. The hotel is located right on Qianmen Street, a quiet spot in a bustling area. The entrance is very clean and spacious. There's also a laundry room with a paid service (2 washes, 2 dries), which is very convenient for changing clothes."

Hotel near Yongdingmen and South Railway Station Area,Beijing
Amidst the interweaving of latitude and longitude in the capital city, Mercure Beijing South Station has quietly settled like a love letter sent from Paris. Adjacent to the Jingfengmen subway corridor and just a stone's throw away from the South Station, this is a French art gallery selected by Mercure brand, delicately depicting the romantic style of France with a modern Eastern touch. Stepping into it feels like stepping into a flowing art exhibition. The whole house is intelligent and gentle, responding to every heartbeat, and you can overlook the clouds of Jinghua with just a glance. When the morning light is dim, the Food Light Corridor offers a sumptuous morning feast, awakening dormant taste buds with Chinese and Western flavors, and opening an elegant prelude to a good day. Here, every stop is an immersive rehearsal about elegant living.

"My stay at Mercure Beijing South Station was absolutely fantastic! I was incredibly satisfied with the overall service, environment, and dining experience. It's definitely a hidden gem near Beijing South Station, offering both great value for money and excellent service quality. The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. It's so close to Beijing South Station that you can walk there, which is incredibly convenient for travelers catching high-speed trains or transferring – it saves so much time and hassle. The front desk staff were gentle yet professional. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth, with no delays. They patiently and meticulously answered all my questions, providing attentive service that made the entire experience comfortable. The guest rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy, with excellent ventilation and natural light. The overall environment was quiet and peaceful, with excellent soundproofing. The bedding was soft, clean, and fluffy, and the mattress was just right – so relaxing to lie on. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and no unpleasant odors. The toiletries were comprehensive and effective, and the facilities were well-maintained, contributing to a high-quality living experience. I have to specifically praise the hotel's breakfast buffet! The variety was truly extensive and complete, with a great mix of Chinese and Western options, and a good balance of meat and vegetables – so many choices! There were Chinese hot dishes, various congees, steamed buns, noodles, cold appetizers, and a full array of Western bread, cakes, toast, salads, and drinks. The biggest bonus was the live noodle station, where fresh noodles and wontons were made on the spot. The broth was savory and delicious, with rich toppings and an authentic taste. Ingredients were replenished fresh daily, and restocking was quick, so there were never any empty platters. The fruits were fresh and juicy, and the desserts had a delicate texture. The overall taste was light and palatable, not greasy. The restaurant environment was clean and bright, and tables were cleared promptly, making for a very comfortable dining experience. Overall, I could clearly feel the standardized service and meticulous attention to detail from both the HUAZHU and Mercure brands. With its attentive service, clean environment, and consistent dining quality, this hotel is undoubtedly the top choice in the South Station area, whether for business trips, leisure travel, or high-speed rail transfers. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Beijing!"

Hotel near Jinsong and Panjiayuan Area,Beijing
The hotel is a designer type hotel, the design utilizes the concept of “modern bones, natural clothes, oriental soul” for the overall design planning. In the chaotic and impetuous times, through the understanding of life, believe that people belong to nature, superimposed on the Oriental culture teaches us the design principle of less is more, and ultimately through the hotel carrier to euphemize the expression of the return to a healthy, real, natural state of life. The hotel is located in the core area of the East Third Ring Road in Chaoyang District, adjacent to the China World Trade Center, with extremely convenient transportation, only a 10-minute walk from Jinsong subway station.

"This is one of the best-value hotels right in the center of Beijing. The Hotel is located in the city center, but in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood — perfect if you want convenience without the chaos. Very affordable prices. Spacious, clean, and well-maintained rooms. But the real highlight is the lobby… It feels more like a library café than a hotel. In the evening, you can sit there in total calm, read a book, work on your laptop, and enjoy delicious coffee… made and served by a robot. And yes — if you order delivery, another robot brings it straight to your room door. The area is also great — surrounded by restaurants, shops, and fruit markets, everything you need within walking distance. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, budget-friendly stay with a unique touch — this is a great find."

Hotel near Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area,Beijing
The hotel is located on the central axis of Beijing, only 3 kilometers away from Tiananmen Square and Qianmen Pedestrian Street. It is located in Beijing's famous Tianqiao Performing Arts District. The name of the hotel echoes the first opening of the Temple of Heaven to tourists in 1918. The overall style of the hotel is created by professional design masters, representing the innovative achievements of the new generation of products of Qiuguo Hotel Group. The overall design of the facade and courtyard refers to the style characteristics of the Republic of China period and incorporates the "old things in the south of the city" mood of old Beijing. The hotel has a variety of room types and is deeply favored by tourists and consumers. The furniture materials are carefully selected environmentally friendly materials with fine workmanship; the hotel's standard fresh air machine provides you with oxygen-rich, haze-free, forest-like fresh air, and the century-old German Langlefu mattress and 80 X 80 star hotel high-quality bedding help you spend a comfortable night. Adhering to the consistent style of Qiuguo Hotel, the hotel has prepared exquisite breakfast, afternoon tea and unique late-night warm stomach porridge for you to soothe your travel fatigue. At the same time, the hotel cooperates with well-known domestic cultural and creative companies to creatively implant exquisite cultural and creative products (such as pillows, tea sets, flower vases, hanging paintings, etc.) and Beijing-style souvenirs in some hotel rooms. The hotel lobby also has a cultural and creative product and Beijing-style souvenir sales area. You are welcome to buy them as gifts for relatives and friends. At the same time, in order to meet the guests' needs for leisure and entertainment during business trips and tourism, the hotel lobby and characteristic courtyard regularly hold crosstalk, karaoke, Peking opera and various parent-child activities to add colorful elements to your journey.

"Facilities: Decent, has most things, but the mirror light was unresponsive when pressed. Cleanliness: Average. The walls were quite dirty, but tolerable. Environment: There's construction outside the hotel. I requested a room not facing the street, which was much quieter. However, the path to and from the hotel is messy and inconvenient to walk on – you have to watch your step. It's about a 10-minute walk to the subway, and also very close to the Temple of Heaven Park – about a 5-minute walk from across the subway exit. It's pretty convenient for getting around, but if you're tired after a long day and want to be in the hotel within a minute of exiting the subway, you might want to skip this one. There's a snack place nearby called Tiangongyuan Xiaochi with delicious steamed buns; I particularly liked the preserved vegetable (meigan cai) ones."

This hotel, part of the Gulf Hotel Group, stands out as a high-end property, primarily known for its hot springs. Beyond that, it boasts an impressive array of amenities including a family-friendly kids' paradise, hiking trails, a space-themed sports complex, and a wellness center offering treatments like sound bowl therapy, head meditation, and full-body essential oil massages. Our butler, Luna Zhang, provided exceptionally warm and thoughtful service. She helped us set up the family beds and surprised us with fruit and ice cream, which delighted the children. For those interested in hiking, the room key cards conveniently include a hiking map. The 5-kilometer mountain trail with its 'Eight Planets' viewing platforms is perfect for a family-friendly climb, offering great photo opportunities at each stop.

I've visited Gubei Water Town before but never stayed overnight, so I specifically chose to this time, and it was definitely worth it. It's beautiful during the day and stunning at night. My only regret is that the Simatai Great Wall night tour was closed due to the weather. The hotel's decor is very stylish. The lobby manager was incredibly enthusiastic and helped me choose a room with a great view, carefully explaining all the activity times and other important details. I definitely have to give them a thumbs up for that!

This might not be the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in, but it's definitely where I've slept the most comfortably. The hotel is very close to the bustling Nanluoguxiang and Yonghe Temple. The room was extremely clean and quiet, with a nostalgic style that made me feel grounded and peaceful. Being in the hutong, you really get a feel for the capital's alleyway life, and everyone was so nice! The service was absolutely top-notch; I forgot something when I checked out, and the front desk contacted me and mailed it back for free! I love it so much ❤️!

This place is definitely worth a visit. It's huge inside and uniformly managed. The hotel is very large with many rooms, but the quality of the staff varies. Some front desk staff are excellent, while others are quite poor, but since they don't wear name tags, I can't identify specific individuals. On my floor, I was fortunate to meet a wonderful and very responsible auntie (Liang Chunyu). She was very dedicated, helpful, and explained everything I asked clearly. The Great Wall tickets are a bit pricey at over 200 yuan per person. Parking overnight at the hotel also costs 25 yuan, which feels a bit stingy for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, the dining, lodging, and entertainment within this ancient town are pretty good.

My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon at the Yanqi Hotel on Yanqi Lake, and we couldn’t have been happier. The setting right by the lake is stunning, and we really got to enjoy every moment of our trip. One of the highlights was the photo shooting. Our photographer Xiao Qi was wonderful and gave us memories we’ll keep for a lifetime. At the restaurant we were looked after beautifully by Billy Xu and his team, who even made sure we were provided with sunhats for our day trip to the Great Wall. We’d also like to mention the Managers on Duty, Shirley Li and Gillan. Both of them did a fantastic job and seemed to anticipate every wish before we even had to ask. That kind of personal service is what turns a good stay into an unforgettable one. We were also incredibly touched by the personal gift we received during our stay. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant a great deal to us both. We were more than happy with everything: the hotel, the service, and our whole time there. We’d wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple celebrating something special, and we’d love to come back one day.

Even though the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. We arrived on a rainy day and stayed in (thanks to Kong Kong for the warm hospitality and upgrade!), enjoying the breeze on the balcony. But I didn't expect the next day, with the sun out, to be even more comfortable. I wish I had booked an extra night (thanks again to the professional Kong Kong) 😄😄. See the pictures for details. P.S. Although I haven't actively pursued Globalist status, the Hyatt brand consistently impresses me, whether in Hong Kong, Sanya, or Beijing. I'll definitely be back.

The room is very spacious, and the bathroom area is quite large, perfect for a family. There's plenty of room for dining and playing together. The height of the chairs and tables is a bit mismatched; you sink in quite a bit when you sit down. The bunk beds were a hit with the kids. Plus, there's a private indoor hot spring in the room, which is free and quite nice. The hotel breakfast is pretty average, with the variety and taste on par with a 3-star hotel in the city center. The hot spring is connected to the hotel, and you can re-enter until noon the next day by registering your room number. However, you do need to exchange your entry wristband.

Our 5-night, 6-day stay at Club Med Yanqing Beijing was nothing short of magical. From the very beginning, the service was impeccable, Manager Kang went above and beyond by personally reaching out to us before we even arrived to ask about our preferences and dietary needs. His thoughtful care ensured that every detail of our stay was seamless, comfortable, and wonderfully personalized. Here’s a breakdown of our fantastic experience: 1. Facilities & Accommodation We booked two connecting rooms, and both were spacious, fully equipped, and meticulously maintained throughout our stay. The housekeeping team did a stellar job keeping everything spotless. One small but much-appreciated perk was the unlimited supply of bottled drinking water available at any time, a true lifesaver given how much energy we burned during the day's activities! 2. Dining Experience The culinary offerings were a definite highlight. We thoroughly enjoyed the lavish breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a great variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. The all-hours noodle bar was a game-changer, serving up hot dumplings, pasta, pizzas, and comforting noodle soups whenever we needed a quick bite between activities. Pro tip for families: ******* delivery doesn't reach the resort, so we’d recommend packing a few favorite snacks for the little ones just in case. That said, we never left the table hungry, overall, our dining experience was absolutely delightful. 3. Endless Activities for All Ages We were wonderfully busy every single day, thanks to the incredible range of age-appropriate activities. Our 4-year-old son was in pure heaven, spending his days exploring the vibrant kids' play areas and splashing endlessly in the swimming pools, which are wonderfully child-friendly with warm, comfortable water. Our 6-year-old daughter, on the other hand, embraced her adventurous side! She conquered the rock-climbing wall, soared with joy on the trapeze, and challenged us to lively games of outdoor table tennis and badminton. The after-dinner parties at the theatre were the cherry on top, she loved dancing on stage, joining in the quirky games, and being mesmerized by the breathtaking circus performances. A massive shout-out to the incredible G.O. team! Their boundless energy, genuine warmth, and incredible patience with the children truly made our stay extra special. 4. Exploring the Surroundings The resort’s location also offers lovely opportunities to venture out. We took the local train to explore the scenic surrounding areas and even visited a nearby vineyard to harvest fresh grapes, it was such a fun, hands-on experience for the whole family. The grapes we picked were incredibly sweet and juicy, and we also bought some excellent local wines to bring back as gifts for our relatives. Back at the resort, the outdoor activity areas, including pony rides, added even more charm and variety to our days. Final Verdict Club Med Yanqing Beijing delivered the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, and top-tier hospitality. Manager Kang and his wonderful team made us feel truly valued as guests, and the sheer variety of activities kept both our kids (and us!) happily engaged from morning until night. We left with full hearts, tired legs, and beautiful memories. We are already counting down the days until we can return!

This place has everything you could want nearby: food, drinks, entertainment, and shopping. It's really close to the subway station, and bus access is pretty convenient too. It looks like a regular hotel, but it's actually more like a hostel. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly, and there are a lot of international guests. I stayed here for a few days, and they even have washing machines and dryers available. Definitely my top choice for my next trip to Beijing!

Let's start with the positives: Firstly, the location is excellent. Right outside the entrance is Chongwenmen subway station, making it incredibly convenient to reach all the major attractions. This is definitely the hotel's biggest selling point. Secondly, the staff are very service-oriented. Their customer care, from booking to check-out, was impressive, and the front desk was quick to help guests resolve issues during my stay. Now for the areas that need improvement: As it's an older hotel, the facilities are quite basic and dated. The lighting is also on the dim side, especially in the elevators. The rooms show signs of age, with some water stains and black mold visible in the bathroom, and dust accumulation in the corners of the wardrobe door tracks. During this stay, the first room (B213) had a strong odor from the bathroom drain, so with the help of the front desk, I moved to a different room (B559). However, the air conditioning in the second room was not very effective; even at its lowest setting, the room temperature stayed around 27 degrees Celsius, making it feel a bit stuffy in the mornings or at midday. Overall, considering the price, Xinqiao Hotel offers acceptable value for money in the city center. My suggestions for the hotel are: 1. Replace the lighting with brighter white lights to make the place feel less dated. 2. Increase the frequency of maintenance for drainage pipes and the central air conditioning system. 3. Improve the cleanliness of room corners, particularly in the bathrooms.
