Hotel near Beijing Railway Station, Jianguomen and Guomao Area,Beijing
The Beijing Zhong'an Hotel ( Near metro,Tian'anMen,Forbidden City. tourism service) provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Beijing Zhong'an Hotel ( Near metro,Tian'anMen,Forbidden City. tourism service) offers a pleasant stay in Beijing for those traveling for business or leisure. With Beijing Railway Station just 700m away and Beijing Capital International Airport only 27km away, transportation is very convenient. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Beijing Railway Station Metro Station within walking distance. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Ritan Park (Ritan Gongyuan), Central Gifts and Artifacts Center and Dongjiaomin Lane all nearby. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"Pro Location is King: It’s a 5-minute walk from Beijing Railway Station. If you’re catching an early train, this is a lifesaver. Vibe: It’s an old courtyard house (former home of Edgar Snow). It feels authentic and ”Old Beijing” rather than a sterile corporate box. Price: Very hard to beat for this part of the city. You get a lot of character for a budget price. Quiet: Even though it’s near the station, the courtyard setting keeps the street noise out. Cons Tight Squeeze: The rooms are not too big. If you're traveling with huge suitcases, you’ll be playing Tetris to move around. Finding It: It’s in a hutong. It’s charming, but your first time finding it with bags can be a bit of a hunt. Basic Bathrooms: They’re clean and functional, but don’t expect a spa-like setup. The Bottom Line It’s perfect for backpackers or solo travelers who want a cool, historic home base in Beijing"

"The hotel's location is fantastic, incredibly close to the airport, making it super convenient for layovers. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful, proactively arranging a complimentary airport drop-off service for us and meticulously confirming our flight details and departure time – truly responsible! My flight was at 5 PM, and the hotel kindly allowed for a late check-out, so we didn't have to rush our day, which was a huge plus. During our stay, they also provided complimentary fruits and yogurt, showing great attention to detail. Downstairs, the hotel has its own charming little garden with adorable alpacas and squirrels, creating a relaxing and therapeutic environment. All food deliveries were handled by robots, which was both clean and convenient. The airport drop-off driver was also very considerate, actively helping us with our luggage. The entire service was top-notch. Overall, the stay was excellent, offering incredible value for money. Highly recommend!"

Excellent
QQinlaoaimilaThis hotel is perfect for families with kids! It boasts a comprehensive range of clean facilities for entertainment, including a playground, hot springs, swimming pool, gym, yoga, and hiking. The dining and other services are also excellent. What really stood out was the hotel's twin room setup: the housekeeper proactively placed a connecting bench between the beds to prevent children from falling off. Having stayed at numerous family-friendly hotels both domestically and internationally, this is the first time I've encountered such thoughtful and proactive service. It perfectly addresses the common concern for families with two children – the dilemma of a king bed being a bit cramped versus twin beds and the fear of falls. This aspect is truly commendable. Behind the hotel, there's a hiking trail that, upon reaching the summit, offers breathtaking views of Miyun's stunning mountains. The artificial trail markers and landscaping along the way are tastefully designed with ancient, subdued colors, avoiding overly cutesy or sentimental decorations, which was also a pleasant surprise. Our butler, Bella, provided attentive care throughout our stay. My children have already declared this a hotel they'd love to visit again!

LLiaoaoaoaoaoaoOur stay at Gubei Zhiguang was absolutely amazing! Before we arrived, the hotel manager, Kangle, called us a day in advance to ask for our arrival time and provide directions. Since it was the off-season and not many tourists were around, she even upgraded our room for free to one with a direct view of the Great Wall from the window, which was incredibly thoughtful. While we were checking in, Kangle saw my friend and I waiting in the lobby and kindly helped us with our luggage. When we jokingly asked if we, as 'children,' could also get a gift, Kangle proactively offered us a Napoleon pastry. Our impression of her went up, up, up! Following Kangle's recommendation, we visited Simatai Great Wall in the evening, going up before sunset and coming down after dark. We witnessed an absolutely stunning sunset and night view – this trip was definitely worth it! The ancient town itself, with its small bridges and flowing water, sculling boats, hot springs, and enthusiastic staff, is a place worth revisiting. We're already looking forward to our next trip to experience the intangible cultural heritage crafts!

GGuest UserThis might not be the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in, but it's definitely where I've slept the most comfortably. The hotel is very close to the bustling Nanluoguxiang and Yonghe Temple. The room was extremely clean and quiet, with a nostalgic style that made me feel grounded and peaceful. Being in the hutong, you really get a feel for the capital's alleyway life, and everyone was so nice! The service was absolutely top-notch; I forgot something when I checked out, and the front desk contacted me and mailed it back for free! I love it so much ❤️!

GGuest UserThis was my second stay at the Gubei Water Town Hotel, and once again, I experienced incredibly warm and welcoming service. What particularly touched us was this: last night, after enjoying the Great Wall night view, my niece unfortunately sprained her ankle while walking down. When Front Desk Manager Xing Guangxu learned about it, he immediately sent someone with ice and a wheelchair, which was a huge help in our urgent situation. The service was proactive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone – it truly considers guests' needs and provides a human touch! Next time we visit Gubei Water Town, we won't hesitate to choose this place again.

MM56405****Absolutely fantastic! The two kids played in the room until midnight without any need for adult supervision. The moms just chatted and drank the whole time – it was so relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel is super close to the ancient town, only a five-minute walk. There are supermarkets downstairs and restaurants right outside the door, which is incredibly convenient. The owner is really nice and was quick to resolve any issues we had. Remember to bring some sausages when you go; there are lots of little cats downstairs waiting for you to feed them!

AAizaishenqiuxiaoxiannvI booked a garden-view balcony room, roughly 3,000 a night. The room was spacious, but the details were lacking; the toiletries and tissues were poor quality. The service was also bad. At check-in, I wasn't informed about any hotel activities. I only found out later by asking a girl at the bike rental, and the bikes themselves were terrible, practically unrideable. The concierge didn't even open the door for me. My room was freezing. At the pool, a rather heavy-set lifeguard was on his phone the entire time, not even looking up once. This is the first time I've encountered such irresponsibility in all the five-star hotels I've stayed at. However, the lady in the women's changing room was uncommonly thoughtful.

MM0005****The rooms are clean and tidy, and come with a balcony. When checking in, you need to register your vehicle to park in the underground parking lot 🅿️, otherwise, you might be charged a parking fee. We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. Complimentary fruit was provided in the room.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, nestled in a hutong, very close to Zhangzizhong Road subway station – less than a 4-minute walk away. It's also near popular attractions like the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park. After visiting Jingshan Park, I encountered traffic restrictions, making taxis and buses inconvenient. I ended up cycling back to the hotel on a shared bike, which only took fifteen minutes. Cycling through the surrounding hutongs offers a unique charm. Although the hotel isn't new, it's clean, and the bedding is spotless. Crucially, facing the hutong means it's incredibly quiet, which is perfect for someone sensitive to noise like me. Plus, the hotel rooms have windows that can be opened for ventilation, which is a major plus. Many hotels in Beijing have sealed windows and rely on heating, making the air feel stuffy and stagnant. There are also many local eateries around the hotel, making it very convenient. All in all, it offers fantastic value for money.

GGuest UserMy friend and I stayed here for one night, and this was my second time returning to this hotel. The room was large, clean, and had a stunning view of the city. The breakfast was wonderful and varied - something for every taste. The location is superb. It's just two metro stops to the Temple of Heaven, or you can walk there in about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. The same distance (around 30 minutes on foot) also takes you to Qianmen Street. Very convenient. The only small issue was the air conditioning. The temperature in the room felt well above 25°C, and we couldn't get it to cool down properly. That said, it might have been our fault, perhaps, we just didn't understand how the system works. Overall, I came back because I had a good experience before, and aside from the AC question mark, this stay was just as comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

TthousandmilesNot worth the price and disappointing - I booked this place after looking at the images on the website, they looked very convincing. So I booked it for me and my wife to spend a relaxing day looking at the peaceful mountains and forest. However those pictures were quite misleading. The hotel is a compound of lackluster buildings build to a mountain side right next to the road. The view is nothing like in the website photos but quite mediocre. The room was quite good and modern. Which was the only plus point. Also the smart toilet and bathroom with the bathtub was nice, but it was evident the hotel staff needs to learn more about housekeeping. It seems like they were penny pinching. The bedsheets had holes in them, no glasses to drink water, only two water bottles and only two packs of coffee. Very very disappointing for the price I paid for one night. Furthermore although it says 24 hours concierge service, after 9 pm they stop responding to messages on wechat. I asked in Chinese to send some water bottles and glasses but they didn't respond. Very unprofessional. The breakfast was also pretty basic. Not even fresh juice, just a typical Chinese breakfast you will find in any low budget hotel. The swimming pool was so so and dirty. Other amenities were for kids, so I can't comment on those. Overall the hotel is very mediocre and not worth the money they are charging per night. I won't recommend this place to anyone as there are better places around this area for lesser price.
