XiaohuazhouThis hotel, part of the Gulf Hotel Group, stands out as a high-end property, primarily known for its hot springs. Beyond that, it boasts an impressive array of amenities including a family-friendly kids' paradise, hiking trails, a space-themed sports complex, and a wellness center offering treatments like sound bowl therapy, head meditation, and full-body essential oil massages.
Our butler, Luna Zhang, provided exceptionally warm and thoughtful service. She helped us set up the family beds and surprised us with fruit and ice cream, which delighted the children.
For those interested in hiking, the room key cards conveniently include a hiking map. The 5-kilometer mountain trail with its 'Eight Planets' viewing platforms is perfect for a family-friendly climb, offering great photo opportunities at each stop.

QiuzhiliangpinA hidden gem hotel at the foot of the Great Wall!
Gubei Water Town is just perfect for a leisurely trip with kids. If you have enough time, I highly recommend staying for three days and two nights~
The buffet breakfast at Gubei No. 1 is truly the best breakfast in Gubei Water Town. The variety is amazing, and they even have rice noodle rolls and poached chicken, which is absolutely perfect for Cantonese palates! [drooling face]
Walking on the cobblestone streets, it feels like capturing an entire slice of Jiangnan. Compared to other ancient towns, this one is much more relaxed and comfortable!

Guest UserA truly friendly place. They've thought of everything for travelers, from morning coffee and warm water to evening congee and even face masks – all those thoughtful little touches. Staying in this area feels like living life as a local in the hutongs, with birds chirping and sunlight in the mornings, and a lively crowd queuing for bars when you return in the evenings.

okjszThis place is definitely worth a visit. It's huge inside and uniformly managed. The hotel is very large with many rooms, but the quality of the staff varies. Some front desk staff are excellent, while others are quite poor, but since they don't wear name tags, I can't identify specific individuals. On my floor, I was fortunate to meet a wonderful and very responsible auntie (Liang Chunyu). She was very dedicated, helpful, and explained everything I asked clearly. The Great Wall tickets are a bit pricey at over 200 yuan per person. Parking overnight at the hotel also costs 25 yuan, which feels a bit stingy for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, the dining, lodging, and entertainment within this ancient town are pretty good.

Guest UserThis was a wonderful stay, starting with the warm and attentive guidance and service from Yanqi Hotel's butler, Shirley. The hotel's unique garden environment is a rare and private luxury in Beijing. Another highlight was the spacious and spotless room, with captivating lakeside views from outside the suite. Strolling through the grounds, you can see the harmonious coexistence of nature and culture everywhere. At the end of our trip, butler Shirley was already waiting in the lobby, and the concierge rushed over from afar to help with our luggage. Smiles, greenery, tranquility, comfort, stunning views, and personalized service are the keywords that come to mind for this hotel. One even deeper impression I have is that every staff member I interacted with or observed, genuinely loved their hotel. Even the servers in the breakfast restaurant could enthusiastically tell guests all about the hotel, as if recounting their own treasured possessions. It was clear this wasn't just trained rhetoric, but a genuine joy and pride from the heart.

Guest UserEven though the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. We arrived on a rainy day and stayed in (thanks to Kong Kong for the warm hospitality and upgrade!), enjoying the breeze on the balcony. But I didn't expect the next day, with the sun out, to be even more comfortable. I wish I had booked an extra night (thanks again to the professional Kong Kong) 😄😄. See the pictures for details.
P.S. Although I haven't actively pursued Globalist status, the Hyatt brand consistently impresses me, whether in Hong Kong, Sanya, or Beijing. I'll definitely be back.

The rooms are clean and tidy, and come with a balcony. When checking in, you need to register your vehicle to park in the underground parking lot 🅿️, otherwise, you might be charged a parking fee. We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. Complimentary fruit was provided in the room.

DiruyunniUpon arriving at the hotel, a handsome young man, who I later learned was named Howson, came over to help me with check-in. After we exchanged WeChat contacts, he kept me updated on the resort's activity schedule. The first room I was assigned had no Wi-Fi signal, so he promptly came to check, and without hesitation, moved me to another room. As compensation, he also upgraded my room and arranged for staff to help with my luggage. Every little detail was handled thoughtfully and kindly, and he always responded to my inquiries promptly. Thank you, Howson, for making our vacation a memorable one!

This place has everything you could want nearby: food, drinks, entertainment, and shopping. It's really close to the subway station, and bus access is pretty convenient too. It looks like a regular hotel, but it's actually more like a hostel. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly, and there are a lot of international guests. I stayed here for a few days, and they even have washing machines and dryers available. Definitely my top choice for my next trip to Beijing!

GuangjiedehuashengrenThe biggest highlight of the Xinqiao Hotel is its extremely convenient location – directly opposite Chongwenmen Subway Station (where Lines 2 and 5 intersect). It's incredibly easy to get to Wangfujing, Tiananmen Square, and Beijing Railway Station by subway or bus. Plus, there are malls like New World nearby.
However, the facilities are indeed quite dated. After all, it's an old hotel that opened in 1954, and some rooms have dim lighting. Some room types are windowless, which can feel a bit stuffy if you haven't confirmed beforehand. I personally recommend getting a room with a window.
In summary, if location and transportation convenience are your top priorities and you're fine with the older style of an established hotel, this is a hassle-free choice!
