"Room was modern, spacious, and extremely clean — everything felt new and well-maintained. For a Marriott, the price per night was very reasonable and offered excellent value. I originally booked for a shorter stay but ended up extending for 2 more nights simply because of how comfortable and relaxing the room was. It really made my trip much more enjoyable. The only drawback is the location. Although the hotel is listed as being near Pazhou MRT station, the walk to the station takes about 10–15 minutes, which can be quite tiring, especially in Guangzhou’s hot, humid, or rainy weather. I would recommend taking taxis instead — most trips to the city center cost around 40 RMB. Overall, if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and quiet place to stay, and don't mind taking a taxi to get around, this Marriott is a great option. I would definitely consider staying here again."

"Exceptional hotel with prime location for fair visiting. Connected to the Expo Complex with footbridge on 3/F. I was given a corner room with 270 degrees view of the city for one night. Room service was delicious and just what I needed to recharge after a full day of booth browsing. Buffet breakfast was outstanding and plenty to keep me going for the rest of the day without lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Elevator may get crowded and takes a while to queue when guests flooded back after each day. Westin had an exclusive golf cart shuttle across the footbridge but unfortunately no driver was available during my stay. Overall I'd rate this hotel 95/100 and will definitely return for the next fair."
