"In a great location near Elizabeth Quay, and Langley park for Australia day fireworks and other events. We stayed in a Premium room with river view. It was spacious, modern and with a great shower. The view was nice, but would be great if the windows weren't so narrow. The walls were way too thin for a luxury hotel though. We could hear the conversations of the guests in the room next to us, and they woke us up when they came back to the room at 1am. That's the only reason I wouldn't recommend this hotel."

"The room was alright. It's on the busiest street, with tons of restaurants and pubs, so expect some noise, especially on weekends. The kitchen's a bit of a mess, with stains on the stuff, and the fridge is packed. But hey, the price is super cheap, so you can't expect too much. It's good if you just need a place to crash."

"The room was spacious, with a living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large balcony. The living room, in particular, was huge, and came with cabinets, a dining table, a stove, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a washing machine, and a dryer. All the dishes, cups, pots, knives, and forks were provided – all you need are some basic cooking ingredients and you can whip up your own meals. The cleanliness was good, and the staff tidied up daily."

"This hotel is located near the Elizabeth Quay within walking distance and the walk along the lake is amazing. The view of the hotel room is breathtaking especially during sunset and sunrise. Yes. You can see both! Service from the team is excellent and I cannot ask for more. The gym is equipped with good equipment and the conveniences of IGA supermarket being part of the complex helped us to get anything we missed. Highly recommended."

"As soon as I arrived I was offered cucumber water by the bell staff and the check was very smooth as the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious, quiet and hotel was located right in the heart of CBD. I didnt get to try the restaurants but from the menu, looked like a great variety of restaurants in the hotel. I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Perth."

"The room was clean and the service was attentive and warm. They cleaned the room promptly, changed the linens, and provided complimentary water. The lobby also has a bar and restaurant, which is convenient for meetings and entertaining guests."

"Everything was good and we got free upgrade for our room, which is we thankful for that. The one that made us disappointed is the cleaning service went in to our room around 9am and i was half naked in the toilet with the door opened and my husband was in the other room preparing to check out. My husband ran straight away to the front door to see who opened the door. The cleaning service only said sorry and she were thinking we are already check out. I have no idea if it is normal, but it made us feel unsafe. It means they might can just go in to our room when we were not in there."

"We didn't notice when we checked in just after lunch hour. It's when we returned in the early evening and wanted to shower that we realised the whole shower head (including a short thin piping) was missing! Probably the earlier guest dismantled and took it upon checking out. The front desk promptly offered an alternative room which was a family suite (an upgrade). The first was shabby with a mild stench. The subsequent replacement was acceptable. It had two bedrooms (no a/c). We used only one as it's only two of us. Came with kitchenette, crockery, microwave oven. Housekeeping - the chambermaids asked what were required and did not do the usual complete make of the room. Is this a standard in Perth? Overall, not a bad stay (from price point) if one is not very particular. Btw, the washer and the dryer in the laundry room at our level were good. Totally dried our clothes. $4 each wash and per drying."

"Having an apartment like this in an overseas city center is quite good. The room has simple cooking utensils, which is handy for breakfast or emergencies. The hotel itself is set up like an apartment building, and it's conveniently located with good value for money. It seems to be almost fully booked every day. Unlike at home, overseas hotels don't have daily housekeeping; they usually come every two or three days. Also, it's a bit unusual that the duvets in overseas hotels don't have covers; it's just a single sheet."

"Mountway Hotel Apartment: A Budget Gem for Asian Travelers in Perth I recently stayed at Mountway Hotel Apartment in Perth, and I must say it’s one of the best options in its price range, especially for Asian travelers looking for a long-term stay with self-catering facilities. Location: The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It’s just 1.1 km from the central train station, and you can hop on free bus services like the Red CAT, Blue CAT, or Green CAT, with stops only 100m to 250m away—perfect for easy commuting. Behind the hotel lies the stunning Kings Park and Botanic Garden. If you don’t feel like walking the 300m to get there, the Blue CAT will drop you off effortlessly. The accessibility to public transport and nearby attractions is a huge plus. Cleanliness: While the exterior might look a bit dated, the interior is surprisingly spotless. I booked a room for two, but the bedding and pillows provided were enough for four, which was a nice touch. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the cleanliness. Facilities: The private kitchen was a highlight—equipped with a rice cooker, pots, pans, a toaster, a fridge, and enough cutlery, plates, and utensils for four people. They even provide coffee, which I appreciated. However, there are a few downsides: the electric stove is small and outdated, making cooking a bit slow. Also, there’s no salt or basic seasonings provided, nor chopsticks, which might inconvenience Asian guests. The bathroom features a very clean bathtub, but it lacks shampoo and body wash, so you’ll need to bring your own. Despite these minor drawbacks, I’d still rate Mountway Hotel Apartment as the best value for money in its category. It’s practical, comfortable, and ideal for Asian travelers who want to stay longer and cook meals to suit their tastes. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a home-away-from-home experience in Perth!"
