Novotel Perth Murray Street

Very average for the price paid. No slippers and bar fridge was broken. Very small room too

Everything was great the room was a little small for two adults and two 14 year olds but was fine. Everything we asked for come fast and nice the house keeping was amazing

Excellent service from the front reception. The staff were so helpful in giving us directions and recommendations. Rooms were clean with all amenities provided. Beds were comfortable. Well located near to eateries, Perth train station and bus stops. Very happy with our stay at Novotel Perth Murray Street.

I needed to extend my stay, but since my original room was fully booked, I was required to move to a different room. I was told that my luggage would be transferred to the new room, so I packed my belongings and went out. When I returned to the hotel in the evening, I checked in again and went to the new room, only to find that my luggage had not been moved. I had to go back to the front desk, where I was told that my luggage had been kept there. I find it quite questionable why the luggage was not transferred as promised, and why I was not informed of this at the time of check-in. Additionally, I noticed an unexpected charge of about $200 on top of the deposit. When I asked at the front desk, I was told it was a deposit. However, after explaining that I had already paid a deposit, they checked with another staff member and admitted it had been charged in error. The amount was refunded immediately, but if I had not noticed and raised the issue, I could have been wrongly charged.

The location is very convenient, right in the city center. However, on weekends, loud noise from nearby bars can be heard late into the night. The service was somewhat disappointing. The hand soap in the bathroom was empty upon arrival, and the knob to adjust the shower head pressure was broken.

The hotel is located in the middle of the CBD, which means it's super convenient and easily walkable for most parts. There's also CAT buses along the main road, making travelling around city areas a breeze.

Room very dusty and with no basic amenities. Will not consider this hotel next travel for sure.
