Traveling with a 6-year-old, what matters most to me, besides the hotel's ambiance and location, is the bed size. The Intercontinental's advantages are: 1. **Location**: It's in the city center, within walking distance to shopping, and you can take the free CAT bus to city walk attractions. 2. **Hotel Environment & Hygiene**: The hotel itself has good environmental conditions and is clean. While the breakfast options aren't extensive, the food is delicious. 3. **Bed Size**: The double bed is 1.35m, which is perfectly sufficient for a family of three! The only drawback is that the room is a bit small.

The InterContinental's service was up to its usual good standard. The location is incredibly convenient, right in Perth's CBD. Luxury shops are just a few steps downstairs, it's about 600 meters to the Swan Bells, and a little over a kilometer to Kings Park, which is a beautiful botanical garden.

The hotel's location is good, right in Perth's city center, close to the subway station and Murray Street. However, there are always homeless people around, so you need to be careful. The staff are friendly and kind, but the shower area in the room tends to flood easily.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to shops like Chanel. You can walk everywhere, so it's probably in a very central and safe area of Perth. They also have a concierge who speaks Chinese. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

I've stayed in numerous five-star hotels worldwide, and this service experience truly shocked me, falling far below the standard expected of the InterContinental brand. Upon check-in, the front desk proactively asked me for my preferred check-out time and explicitly arranged a 2 PM late check-out for me. However, by 12 PM, my room key had already been deactivated, preventing me from entering the room. When I inquired at the front desk, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and I had to check out immediately!!?? If late check-out cannot be guaranteed, guests should be informed in advance, rather than having it canceled without notice and the door locked. This handling is extremely unprofessional. I have never encountered such a situation at any five-star hotel. Furthermore, the room's hardware was also disappointing: The room size was small, and there was only one trash can in the entire room, including the bathroom, which caused significant inconvenience and completely failed to meet the basic amenities of a five-star hotel. Overall, neither the service process nor the room details met the basic standards of an international five-star hotel.
