You don't have to queue at the main scenic area entrance; you can walk directly to the core area by the lake. Building No. 1, Shoufanyuan, where we stayed, is the closest building to Slender West Lake in the entire hotel. From the room window, you can see a small patch of lake view with weeping willows, enjoying the scenery of Slender West Lake without even leaving your room. Additionally, Building No. 1 is only a 2-minute walk from the Black Pearl-rated Qüyuan Teahouse, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy authentic Yangzhou morning tea without a long trek through the park. **II. Exclusive Features and Immersive Ambiance** 1. **Commemorative Souvenirs:** You can get exclusive hotel postcards at the front desk, and there are several spots within the garden where you can stamp them as a souvenir. You can also get a custom room key card, which makes for a meaningful travel keepsake. 2. **Explore the Expansive Gardens:** The entire guesthouse is filled with pavilions, waterside terraces, rockeries, and long corridors, with lush greenery everywhere. Every step offers a new view, and you won't get tired even after strolling for half a day. The internal scenery is as exquisite as that of paid gardens. If you get tired of walking in the vast park, you can call for a free shuttle at any time. 3. **Weekend Intangible Cultural Heritage Performances:** On weekends, there are intangible cultural heritage mini-theaters, where you can watch Yangzhou's intangible cultural heritage puppet shows and folk music performances without having to leave the hotel. **III. If you prefer a tranquil, retro atmosphere and want to experience the quality of a traditional state guesthouse, Building No. 1 is an excellent choice. The only thing you'll need to adapt to is the low shower pressure. If you're looking for brand-new modern facilities, consider buildings No. 8 or No. 18. For our trip, having already visited Slender West Lake, staying here meant we didn't need to re-enter the scenic area. We could enjoy a comparable lake and garden experience right within the hotel, perfectly meeting our need for a relaxed vacation."

"I chose this hotel based on the numerous positive reviews, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Being a French brand, the hotel boasts a very artistic design. Opening the room door was a pleasant surprise, as we had a canal view right from the window. All the amenities demonstrated thoughtful, human-centered design. Almost all the staff we encountered during our two-day stay were polite and dedicated, making us feel right at home. We've traveled extensively and seen a lot, and it's rare to find a hotel with such well-trained staff. The hotel breakfast, as other guests mentioned, was indeed abundant and delicious. What touched us most was when our car was blocked by another guest's improper parking. After the hotel helped resolve the issue, they went above and beyond to apologize by giving our long-distance-travel-stained car a thorough wash. They even delivered the complimentary evening snacks to our room! The hotel's location is excellent, right outside Dongguan Street scenic area, where you can find everything from food to entertainment, all with a distinctive Yangzhou flavor. If we visit Yangzhou again, we will definitely choose Mercure Hotel."

"We brought our two young children to Yangzhou and stayed at this hotel, and our overall experience was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, making it very convenient for self-driving, and parking is also easy. The lobby has a grand and elegant ambiance, is clean and tidy overall, and the public areas are well-maintained. The guest rooms are spacious with comfortable bedding, and the hygiene details are meticulous, making it very reassuring to stay with children. Since the weather was bad, we booked the hotel's photo shoot service. We dressed the two children in traditional costumes without any extra styling, and the photos still exceeded our expectations. Xiaoran, the photographer from Shiqi Travel Photography, was especially patient and knew how to engage the children, capturing many natural and lively moments. She even thoughtfully retouched the children's makeup during post-processing, making the entire shooting process pleasant and enjoyable. Hotel service was excellent; the staff were friendly and responsive. The accompanying photo shoot service was a big bonus, allowing us to create precious memories for our trip even on a rainy day. Both in terms of travel convenience, accommodation environment, and ancillary services, this hotel is very suitable for family travel. Choosing this place for our trip to Yangzhou resulted in a very good overall experience, and it's highly recommended."

"Facilities: The facilities are well-equipped. We booked a twin room and came to Yangzhou with our child. The front desk even proactively told us we could push the beds together. Cleanliness: Excellent cleanliness, one of the best for a hotel in this price range. There's also a laundry room where you can wash and dry clothes, which is super important given the weather in Yangzhou. Environment: Good sound insulation, and the double curtains offer both privacy and light. There's also a small table in the room. Picture 2 shows us eating Yangzhou duck on the hotel's small table. We also ordered takeout, and they delivered it directly to our room, which we really appreciate 💕. The background of picture 3 is the bathroom. Coming out of the bathroom, there's a clothes hanging closet ➡️ mirror ➡️ clothes folding closet. Service: Full marks for service. Although we didn't book a Hanfu photoshoot or have ice cream, we had a very pleasant stay 😋. Additional notes: The location here is excellent. There are dim sum restaurants right outside, and it's very close to Caiyi Lane and Dongguan Street. Another note: Don't eat at those places in Caiyi Lane that ask if you want to eat; they're terrible. We tried two places, and they were so bad 🤧. In the end, we found a pretty good 138-yuan four-person meal deal on Douyin. Although it was a high-volume place, it tasted much better than those hawkers. Picture 4 is the meal."

The hotel is located at Yangzhou International Exhibition Center and provides plenty of free parking, both above ground and underground. The hotel elevator goes directly to the underground garage. "Wonderful high-quality hotel in Yangzhou! Located in a quiet area but very convenient. The room was clean and well-designed, had everything I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and I enjoyed the view too. The late night noodles was a nice touch, and breakfast was varied and good. Staff service was impeccable and the friendliest of any hotel I've been to (especially 兰兰 and 越越 from the front desk). The ride service to Yangzhoudong train station was also super smooth and quick! Everything about my stay was perfect."

"I think the Sansheng Hilton offers great value for money, and the service is excellent. I even forgot some clothes, and they contacted me to have them couriered to my home. Before arriving, I called ahead to confirm everything. I ordered one breakfast, and my child, who ate it, said it was very good. The location is very convenient, with many dining options nearby, and taking a taxi out every day wasn't expensive. The pool water was also quite clean. I highly recommend it if you're coming in the off-season, as the prices are very reasonable. Yangzhou has been very hot these past few days, but the hotel's air conditioning worked really well, making it very comfortable."

"Our family had a wonderful trip to Yangzhou in March, and the Crowne Plaza Yangzhou was perfectly located in the bustling Guangling District, making it super convenient to get around. The hotel management seemed professional, and our stay was pleasant. Parking was easy, and although some of the facilities showed their age, it was clear that cleanliness and service were top-notch. The swimming pool, sauna, and gym were all great. The only minor drawback was that the complimentary tickets for the Zhuyu Zoo were limited to two per room, regardless of the number of guests. This meant some of our family couldn't go for free, which felt inefficient and probably hurt the hotel's intended marketing impact."

The only downsides are that public areas can get crowded on holidays, and the basic room types are standard in size. The made-to-order noodle station served authentic flavors, and the waitstaff even proactively helped refill drinks and clear tables, creating a wonderful dining atmosphere.
