I like it very much, and I rarely write reviews, so I decided to write a review to provide a channel for everyone to understand. I saw on Ctrip before that the prices of Yangzhou Wuyi Hotel are flying high. Even far away places cost about 1,000. This price may seem expensive at first, but it is still okay after comparing all aspects. I used to stay in chain hotels and didn’t believe in folk inns, but after seeing it online, I couldn’t forget it. I thought it was a super interesting inn, so I decided to book it.
Location: Pi Shi Street, 200 meters from Guangling Youyan, 200 meters from Pi Shi Street, about 1 kilometer from Dongguan Street, and about 300 meters from Heyuan. Overall, the attractions are all around, so you can come back to rest after a while and go out again. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to Wenchang Pavilion. Looking down from the hotel, there are classical houses, which are very beautiful.
Environment: The room is quite big, with a simple wooden table and bed, Dyson air purifier, Dyson hair dryer, tea, snacks, and a small music box. There are many customized and unique little things. I am the type who eats, drinks, and lies down when I arrive at a place. I feel comfortable lying here for two days.
Others: There are not many rooms in the hotel, so it is also very quiet, and breakfast is provided. There is a large hall where you can drink coffee, tea, play the piano, and watch projections. The store also made a guide to the surrounding delicious places. When you leave, you can also prepare small specialties and a custom canvas bag. There is also a loft with sofas, flowers, and telescopes. You can enjoy the scenery in the loft and feel the style of the old city of Yangzhou. Although the surrounding navigation is all red, you can feel the slow life of Yangzhou here. ps: It is next to the fire station, which makes you feel safe, hahaha.

Fanfanmama2001This was the smart king room booked for us. My husband usually handles all the hotel bookings and travel planning, but he was too busy this time, so I took over. Honestly, when we first entered the room, I was a bit disappointed because it was quite small, especially since we had our child with us. The activity space was limited, so we decisively paid extra to upgrade to a superior twin room, which offered significantly more space. Initially, my husband wasn't sure about the hotel's location, but then he realized it was right next to the ancient Grand Canal. It's just a short walk downstairs, and the scenery is beautiful, especially at night. Strolling along the Grand Canal was incredibly pleasant. Then, just across the bridge is He Garden, very close by. A few more steps lead to Pishi Street, a popular influencer spot, and a bit further on is Guandong Street. I asked my husband what he thought of the hotel, and he said it was excellent. The hotel is new, very clean, and the service is incredibly attentive. The breakfast was also delicious, and the Yangzhou fried rice was exceptional. Yangzhou is so beautiful, and our stay here was wonderful, adding even more joy to our trip to Yangzhou! 😀

Guest UserOverall, the room was good, clean and hygienic. Since it was still World Cup season, all the staff were wearing German team uniforms. The hotel lobby is on the 5th floor, and on the ground floor, staff were constantly greeting guests, helping with luggage, pressing elevator buttons, and opening car doors. The shower pressure in the room was excellent, and the breakfast selection was quite rich, with all the essentials available and the taste being decent. My only minor complaint is that I booked a two-night stay, but housekeeping didn't make the bed as requested; it was exactly as I left it. While I don't expect the linens to be changed daily, I do believe the bed should at least be made properly. I hope this can be improved in the future.

✨ A perfect experience! This hotel was a truly delightful surprise. My stay here far exceeded expectations, and I just have to rave about it!
🛁 Impeccable Room Details
The bathtub in the room was an absolute highlight – so clean and stylish. Soaking in it was incredibly relaxing. The overall decor is minimalist and high-end, with textured terrazzo patterns on the walls and floors that, combined with soft lighting, created an amazing ambiance. It felt incredibly calming to stay here.
🌿 Super Soothing Public Areas
The floor-to-ceiling windows in the lounge area are simply stunning, offering abundant natural light and lush green views outside. Nestled on the sofa, gazing at the scenery and sipping tea, I never wanted to leave. Whether for business or leisure, this place instantly brings a sense of tranquility.
🍜 Delightful Dining Experience
Both breakfast and dinner offered a wide array of choices, from delicate Chinese dim sum to authentic Sichuan noodles, all delicious. The presentation was exquisite, and the service was attentive. A perfect dining experience.
💯 Summary
From the facilities to the service, everything was flawless. The environment is quiet and elegant, and every detail shows thoughtful care. This is a hidden gem of a hotel that I would definitely visit again! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality and comfort~

[V] jijiThe room is large, highly intelligent, with a smart toilet, private hot spring, and charging stations in both the underground and ground parking lots, which is very friendly to new energy vehicles. The breakfast is quite exquisite, and it would be better if there were more varieties.

This hotel is incredibly convenient for tourists visiting Yangzhou. It's within walking distance of Slender West Lake, Caiyi Street, and Dongguan Street, and right next to the Xiaoqinhuai River. It offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The hotel is newly opened this year, housed in the former No. 2 Lacquerware Factory. The renovation of the old factory buildings has resulted in a successful blend of modern and retro styles. The rooms are well-designed, each with a balcony. The hotel also features a restaurant, gym, and courtyard, offering unique experiences both day and night.

YanzelilunExperience a private hot spring, rich in metasilicic acid and lithium, exclusively at this hotel. It seems to be the only one around Yangzhou Slender West Lake that offers private hot springs. The hot spring was incredibly relaxing. The first round of the minibar included Coke, Sprite, and Fanta. The hotel's location is excellent, with the East Gate of Slender West Lake within walking distance. There are also many restaurants nearby, so you can easily find options for both breakfast and dinner.

Kristi Marconi DahlstromThe resort grounds are beautiful. The room was great with the outside tub. It was very far from town and we could not get a Didi to come there so we had to take a bus to go to splendid west lake. I booked a room that said it came with free flow mini bar, fishing, biking and entry into the wetlands. There was no minibar and when I asked, they brought us two bags of chips and sodas. This is not what I call free flow or a bar. I complained to trip and they eventually sent us a bottle of wine. I never received any info about the fishing or biking, even though I asked. There is no entry fee to the wetlands so I’m not sure why they put this as a perk. Also, the bar out front was closed and the lobby bar only had fruit beer. There was a sign with 20 drinks listed but everything was out. The restaurant was amazing and the most positive experience. Great food and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was awesome. The restaurant had beverages but they do not open until 6 PM. I would not stay here again based on my experience.

XiaokejibenbenOverall, I was quite satisfied. The waiters were very nice and there were many breakfast varieties. The dinner included in our original package was a buffet. Because there were not many people, they changed it to a Chinese restaurant to save costs. However, the standard was lowered to only 200 yuan, and it was not easy to order dishes by ourselves. We could only eat the dishes prepared by the chef. In addition, when checking in at the front desk, I saw that other tourists who stayed in the room had upgraded their courtyard rooms to garden views. So our package didn't seem to be that cost-effective, right?

Joseph Gray BaileyThe location is good next to the Donghu Wetland Park (walking distance) although it's hard getting around if you don't have a car. The place is big, and you get a balcony with your room. It's also quiet. Unfortunately, the day I was leaving, my Didi/taxi driver I got ended up wasting my time for 30min (he kept driving further away from me--I don't know why) and then canceled on me and made me miss my train (I'm sure the hotel staff remember me exploding on the phone with him in the lobby). The hotel was good enough to arrange a ride for me (although I still didn't make the train on time). Luckily, I was able to get another train as I had to be at work at 7am the next morning. Anyway--it's a fine hotel for the money, but I wish transportation from there was a bit more reliable/frequent.
