voco EDINBURGH - ROYAL TERRACE by IHG ★★★★
"I visited this hotel after 19 years. Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be. It was pleasant, but nothing special. My expectations were much higher for a 4-star hotel. Great waiter, Edward! :-)"

Hotel Indigo EDINBURGH - PRINCES STREET by IHG ★★★★
"The hotel's location is fantastic, directly across from Waverley train station – just cross the street and you're there. It's incredibly convenient, right on Princes Street. Edinburgh's traffic is generally light, so crossing streets is easy. Compared to other attractions, the hotel is situated on lower ground. It's about a seventeen-minute walk to the Royal Mile, where most of the main sights are, and similar distances to museums and art galleries. We were given a fifth-floor attic room, which was a bit of a downside as our luggage had trouble reaching it, but staff were on hand to help. The window in that room was particularly small, which meant the natural light wasn't great and the overall feel wasn't ideal. However, the breakfast truly deserves special mention – it was absolutely fantastic, with the quality and service you'd expect from a five-star hotel. As for dinner, while convenient to eat at the hotel, the prices were quite high, and the food didn't really impress me, so I wouldn't recommend it. Just something to consider!"

"The hotel is generally clean and hygienic, with relatively new facilities and a good location. However, there's no restaurant, and the room is quite small, but that seems to be a common issue with hotels in the UK."

B+B Edinburgh ★★★★
"We only stayed here one night but it was the perfect spot for us to be to explore Edinburgh! Great room, really clean, lovely bathroom and comfy bed. Only taking off one star for amenities as there was no fridge in our room and we had brought back leftovers from dinner haha. Lovely view from our room! Good breakfast in the morning too, continental wasn’t huge but really nice cooked breakfast to order. The vegan breakfast was lovely! Staff were really nice and helpful too. Thanks!"

"The hotel's location is excellent; it's a 10-minute walk to Princes Street and public transport is easily accessible. The room was clean and had a window, though it couldn't be opened. It's a new hotel, but there was no unpleasant smell at all."

DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport ★★★★
"The check-in was straightforward and we used express checkout to leave. Our room was good. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed our food, which was fairly priced for this type of hotel at the airport. It was fairly easy for us to walk to the airport straight from the hotel and any reasonably fit person should be able to drag large cases that distance. All was well and we enjoyed our stay."
