Virgin Hotels Edinburgh
"Couldn't fault anything about this hotel - would definitely recommend"
The Balmoral Hotel
Perfect Old Town location: 3-min walk to Royal Mile, 5-min to Waverley Station, 10-min to Edinburgh Castle.
The Bonham
"The location of the hotel is very good ~ the hotel is clean and comfortable! Afternoon tea is also great~"
W Edinburgh
"The absolute best thing about this hotel is the service! We checked in late at night, tired and cold after getting off the train. Isabel at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful, preparing various hot drinks for us, and cookies and teddy bears for the kids. She personally escorted us to our room, engaging in such a warm and fun interaction with my two children along the way that they absolutely adored her! During our conversation, Isabel learned about the kids' favorite colors and toys. The next evening, she even came to our room to deliver gifts for them, which made the kids incredibly happy! My older daughter repeatedly told me to make sure to give a huge shout-out to the lovely Isabel! The hotel's location is also great, convenient for both the train station and the attractions in the Old Town. The breakfast restaurant offers a nice view as well."
Apex Waterloo Place Hotel
"For over 3,000, you'd expect a lot more than a standard domestic hotel's level of service and quality. The hotel only has one elevator for ten floors, so waiting for it every time we left or returned felt like an eternity. What really got to me was how terrible the Wi-Fi was – it would connect but not load any pages, making even WeChat chats impossible. We were on the second floor, and even our own mobile data had no signal, leaving us completely disconnected inside the hotel."
Best Western Kings Manor Hotel
"Visiting Edinburgh was already magical, but my stay at the Best Western Kings Manor Hotel made the trip even more memorable. The hotel has such a calm and welcoming atmosphere, and after a full day of exploring the city, it was the perfect place to come back to and unwind. The reception staff were especially helpful and friendly, which made the stay even more pleasant. I would definitely love to come back again. ✨"
Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa
5-star luxury hotel (Marriott), One Spa, indoor pool, rooftop hydropool, restaurant, bar, castle views, free WiFi.
Radisson Blu Hotel Edinburgh City Centre
"A lovely relaxing stay in Edinburgh, made even better by the location and service of this hotel."
Delta Hotels by Marriott Edinburgh
"The breakfast was incredibly rich, with a wide variety of drinks, bread, sausages, bacon, cereals, and fruits – definitely filling. The location is a tiny bit out of the way, but we took the local train to the city center every day. It's a convenient 12-minute ride from Haymarket Station to Waverley Station. The room was spacious, though the facilities were a little dated. Overall, it was a good stay."
Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood
"Facilities: Very good, though the faucet still separates hot and cold water. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Quiet all around. Service: Excellent."
Village Hotel Edinburgh
"Excellent location as easily accessible with local bus and train"
Kimpton CHARLOTTE SQUARE by IHG
"First, I want to thank every hotel staff member for their warm service, and especially give a five-star rating to Brian, the concierge! Brian was instrumental in making our trip a wonderful experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable, spoke seven languages, and always answered all my questions with a genuine smile. Thanks to Brian, my trip was so worry-free, smooth, and memorable!"
