"Amazing hotel in a prime location with great castle view"
Kimpton CHARLOTTE SQUARE by IHG
"Service was top notch here with staff super friendly Loved the pool and spa facilities although they are small so recommend trying to go at off peak hours. The gym is surprisingly well appointed too - they should make more of that! Happy hour in the bar was a nice touch too"
InterContinental Hotels EDINBURGH THE GEORGE by IHG
Award-winning 5-star landmark offering opulent accommodations, gourmet dining and bespoke service for discerning travelers.
Prestonfield House
"Located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, it is a large manor house. Both the decor and the service are delightful."
W Edinburgh
"Location- Superb Gym - Excellent Front of House - Very poor. Didn't reflect the W service that we experienced in other countries. No smile, didn't look like she wanted to work there (Christina) , didn't brief us about what came with our reservation, ie breakfast and where to go for it. Asked for late check out at 2pm , which was granted. Thank you, however at 1.40pm , they sent someone at our door to make sure we leave the room ! Horrible and embarrassing. The deposit that they took during check in from our CC hasn't been refunded yet! Good beakfast which was from ala carte and it was the only good service we had here... thank you Ryan for the tips on Dean Village, We went there and it was beautiful. Overall -:For the money that we spent, this stay was a let down. I will not stay here again."
Apex Grassmarket Hotel

Holiday Inn EDINBURGH by IHG
"The hotel main reception area was lovely, as was the bar/restaurant. The room itself was a little dated and in need of some cosmetic work e.g. cracked tiles round the bath, but it was grand for 1 night just to lay my head. Breakfast was good. Lots to cater for everyone and buffet style so able to pick and choose. The gym was good! Lots of machines but also an excellent free weights and mat area with kettle bells, bands, medicine balls etc! The pool was an ok size and there’s a jacuzzi and sauna so lots to like. Generally, fine. Not an amazing hotel, but certainly a good hotel."
Novotel Edinburgh Centre
"Everything was excellent! The staff were wonderful — special thanks to Martin at the front desk for his great help with printing."
Leonardo Edinburgh Murrayfield
"It was so clean and the room was spacious and the staff was very friendly"
The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton
"Best hotel in Edinburgh, really good location, you have every good place nearby. You also have sone great views of the castle. Workers are awesome, shout out to Mark and Linda! Wonderful people."
Delta Hotels Edinburgh
"Nothing special but nothing terrible either. Few minor things that needed fixing in the room and the bedding had some marks, likely just from laundry process. Overall price was ok for what we got. Breakfast was good and fairly quick to get to the airport."
Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood
"The location is very convenient, close to train station and bus stops on Princess St. Free extra water, as long as you told the staff."

Aparthotel Adagio Edinburgh Royal Mile
"Location is awesome! 7 mins walk away from Waverley Station. Right next to Ross Mile and walkable to most of the attractions. Staffs are friendly and helpful too. Would come back to stay there again"
Holiday Inn Express EDINBURGH - LEITH WATERFRONT by IHG
"Location: Very conveniently located right across a couple of bus stops and also a few steps away from Ocean Terminal tram stop. The Oean Terminal has a few well known brand outlets which we did not visit but if you have nothing else to do, it could be a nice way to spend your time. Also the Royal Britannia Yacht is right there. Cleanliness and facilities: just as expected from IHG, very clean and also the facilities that we wanted: luggage storage, a simple bar/ restaurant and hot breakfast. Nothing extraordinary but absolutely essential. Note: scrambled eggs could be better. Service: OK, as expected. We had already sent a note saying we were going to arrive between 1 AM and 1:30 AM, and when we came to the reception around 1:15 AM, they promptly delivered the keys and on the inside of the card was written "no show". Which means the reception doing the night shift never saw our note and had already marked us as possible "no show". It did not hurt us, but I did not like the fact they never read our note, it shows the impersonal nature of their service. Therefore I deducted one star. Note: The cranberry tea is a nice selection. It helped my headache. Thanks."
