It's a nice hotel but, for the cost of it, could be better maintained. Our shower, for example, when turned on sprayed water out the top of the shower head because it wasn't connected correctly. This ensured the entire bathroom was wet (including the towels).
The phone in the room wasn't connected, so "room service" involved walking to reception, ordering, and taking it up ourselves.
Beds were comfortable but the room was really warm even with the window open and the fan on. It's designed for central air but if it was installed there was no sign of a panel to turn it on.
On the plus side, the staff were lovely and helpful, helping with luggage and with printing documents. the hotel is really close to the airport but next time I would look at other options, especially since the tram is so convenient from loads of places in Edinburgh.
