I was initially quite worried because the reviews for hotels in the vicinity didn't look good. But it actually turned out to be pretty decent. It's very close to the airport, and you can get there quickly on foot!

GGuest UserHad another great stay at Yotel. Check-in easy with friendly helpful staff. Free tea and coffee available in the bar all day which is a lovely bright airy space. We love the minimalism of the bedroom - wall to wall white but spotless with super comfy beds and brilliant shower. Also great location for restaurants and shops and Waverly a reasonable 20 minute walk away.

GGuest UserWe always try and book this hotel the day before we fly away on holidays. It's so convenient walking the 10mins to the airport. We hav6a relaxing evening with something to eat and drink before heading up to our comfortable room, as we are always up early for our early flight. Nice to have a quick breakfast as well. Although the hot breakfast doesn't start until 6am.

AAnonymous UserThis was my first time bringing my mom back to Edinburgh since graduation, and this hotel was always on my wish list when I was a student. The room offered a view of Calton Hill, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. It would have been even better if the room was on a higher floor. Plus, the haggis at the hotel breakfast was delicious, even better than the one at Haggis Box!

GGuest User1. The breakfast selection was quite limited and pretty much the same every day. It wasn't as varied as what you'd find in a similar-class hotel back home, though the taste was decent. Personally, I found the bacon and sausage a bit too salty.
2. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient.
3. Edinburgh isn't a huge city, so the hotel was within walking distance of all the main attractions.

Stayed at Stewart by Heeton Concept for 2 days and I would absolutely love to come back in the future!
The apartment was spotless — no dust, no bed bugs, fresh clean bedsheets, and a tidy washroom. Everything was well-maintained and made for a really comfortable stay. It truly felt like a great place to relax and unwind.
The only two things I’d mention as areas for improvement: the check-out time of 10:30 AM felt a little early, and a few basic toiletry amenities like toothpaste, a toothbrush, and slippers were missing. Everything else was provided and well-stocked.
Overall a fantastic stay and highly recommended. Will definitely be returning! 😊

GGuest UserWe have stayed here several times before and have always been satisfied with this hotel. We stayed for two nights this time;. Good breakfast, plenty of choice. We had left 2 bath towels to be changed and used cups from our morning tea but when we returned for the second evening we only had one bath towel replaced along with a fresh hand towel and bath mat (not needed). Also the cups had not been changed or replacement tea bags provided. Mentioned it to reception when we checked out and they said we of contacted them but we didn’t get back until late having been to a family funeral and only wanted to sleep. Having said all this we will still use this hotel again.

LLesley QianWe had a really great stay here! The room was surprisingly spacious and very well equipped. It even had a microwave and kitchen utensils, which were super convenient for heating food during our stay.
We were actually travelling to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and the hotel staff kindly helped decorate the room and prepared some chocolates for us. It was such a sweet and thoughtful touch that made the trip feel even more special. We really appreciated the effort!
The whole experience was very comfortable and enjoyable, and the hotel felt very welcoming. We would definitely come back and stay here again❤️
（The only small downside was a slight smell from the drain in the bathroom, but it was still tolerable and didn’t affect our stay too much.

PPeter 佛系游客Good points: The location is perfect, city centre. Service is above average. We had the breakfasts, not buffet style but actually v good. Al carte style, not easy to over eat.walking distance to a lot of attractions and starting points of local tours.
Staff at reception were helpful and friendly. Above average.

Although my family of 4 while in UK, would book 2 rooms, recently, probably for the fun of the booking staff (definitely felt intentional) or the inadequacy of the computers, our family would be placed in 2 rooms in different floors, this time it DID NOT HAPPEN. So special thanks to W hotel for making this normal request come true.
Not good points: Although nothing wrong with artificial friendliness, however, when all our luggage was delayed by British Airway, and there was a reasonable line in check in. The reception staff maybe could cut down the chatting with the guests and focused in doing the job and checking us in quicker.
House keeping was below average, dirty glasses were not cleaned or replaced for TWO days. However this was not uncommon in UK in general.
Breakfast ordering in the restaurant, orders were missed twice but actually above average in UK.
Reminder: The hotel slippers were nice. Available on request, they would pretend the slippers were in the rooms, they would be available when requested Free.

GGuest UserThe room was much better than expected, clean and comfortable. Self-service check-in and check-out were quick and convenient. If you don't know how to use it, you can call and ask for patient guidance. If you don't know how to use the access control, you can ask the staff. The location is far from the city center and various attractions, about 30 minutes walk, but you can take the bus.
In summary, it is still a good choice. After all, hotels in Edinburgh are crazy expensive. I will stay in this hotel again.
