Jeju bus terminal stop-beware of the separate blue and green bus stop so you wont missed your bus. Naver map and Tmoney help your journey around Jeju. Mr. Peter, himself, messaged me first through trip.com about the time I will be there at their place, which I was hesitant to do that but luckily, he did and that was surprising. Also, he let me leave my luggage in advance. Staff speaks English well and hospitable. As soon as you check in, staff will provide the stuff you needed for your stay in the room plus the indoor slipper to switch with your outdoor shoes to be placed in the closet at the entrance. NO elevator but the girl staff offered to carry my luggage to the room. There is an area in the 2nd floor for dining—designated place to eat—with microwave, water dispenser, dishes and utensils, fridge and freezer, you can cook and wash your dishes. There is a small area designated for reading/relaxing in the 3rd floor, where the entrance to the rooftop(to watch Hallasan sunset and for 8pm projector movie night). 2nd floor for male guests while 3rd fl for females. Sleeping room(is really for sleeping, no room to stretch only in your bed—is very comfortable with one outlet and a lamp) is separate from the shower area with slippers(washbasin/sink and enclosed shower stalls-body wash & shampoo) from the toilet stalls and from the powder/mirror area with hairdryer. If you have a small to medium luggage, you can store it under the bunkbed. There are lockers in every room (a normal school backpack could fit). Walking distance to Yongduam Rock to Yeongyon Bridge to boardwalk for coastal walks—great cafes to watch waves & landing planes and local resto—to Jungang Shopping Street to Jungang Underground Mall to Dongmun Market.
If you like mochi, next door of the Mir is delicious and affordable Jeju Mochi which is priced twice in the airport. Convenience stores (7-eleven next door), chicken&fries and local resto around the corner. Mr. Peter met him during the breakfast. He prepared the breakfast—egg sandwich which comes w/black coffee or orange juice. He is nice and approachable. The Mir Guesthouse’s is designed from the Yongduam Rock, it is cool, clean, and magnificent. Solo traveling is fun—meeting new faces, different nationalities, cultures, and witness the amazing nature’s wonder.

Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, and the rooms are small.
Cleanliness: The hygiene is acceptable, but not as good as in China.
Environment: It has everything a city center should have, with both pros and cons.
Service: The service is average, not as good as in China.
Overall, among the many hotels in Jeju Island, it's still pretty good and offers good value for money. The breakfast is excellent and worth trying, as there are few breakfast places in Korea.

Service: Arrived at 12 AM Korea time, and the front desk gentleman spoke excellent Chinese, which made communication very easy. The hotel hallway was wide and smelled lovely. Even though it was fully booked, it was very quiet for sleeping, so the soundproofing seems good.
Cleanliness: Housekeeping cleaned daily. There were no disposable toothbrushes, so you'll need to bring your own. The leather slippers weren't disposable either, so I'd recommend bringing your own slippers.
Facilities: There's a kettle and a mini-fridge, with mineral water replenished daily. There are two Chinese-style power outlets, but the bedside outlets are Korean, so it's more convenient to bring your own adapter if you need one.
Surroundings: The CU downstairs is open from 6:30 AM to 11 PM, but there's a 24-hour CU just 150 meters away. There are also 24-hour pollock soup and pork bone soup restaurants nearby. Compose Coffee is across the street. Overall, it's great, the streets are quiet, and it's easy to catch a taxi.

Guest UserI traveled to Jeju Island with my daughter and we stayed in Hamdeok for the first three days. For the last two days, I wanted to be closer to the airport, so we decided to stay in the city. After a lot of searching and comparing prices, location, and reviews of hotels in the area, we settled on this one. Overall, it's a good hotel with excellent value for money. It's clean and quiet at night, set back a bit from the road. It's about a five-minute walk to Lotte Duty Free, and along the way, there are places like Gamjatang (pork bone soup) restaurants, Olive Young, and ABC Mart, as well as other souvenir shops. It's very convenient for taking taxis, shopping, and dining. The airport is also very close, about a ten-minute taxi ride. The hotel staff were okay; not overly enthusiastic, but not rude either. For this price point, it's perfectly fine.

SusiexinxinWe visited in July during the summer holidays and stayed at both Meisen Glide Hotel and the adjacent Bolton. Although Bolton was a few hundred yuan more expensive, the overall experience was better than Meisen. Firstly, the front desk service at both was good, but Bolton's front desk had the advantage of seamless Chinese communication. Secondly, the room at Meisen—the first plastic cover of the toilet had several urine stains. At first, I couldn't believe it and thought it was just the toilet yellowing from age, but when I wiped it with a wet wipe, it came right off, and it was yellow—definitely urine stains. For this price, the toilet wasn't even cleaned properly; I was truly speechless… Lastly, Meisen's room didn't have an electric mosquito repellent, and I was woken up twice by mosquitoes at night. Bolton, on the other hand, smelled lovely as soon as you entered the room.

GuijiujiujiujiuyaThe hotel's location is impeccable, very close to Shilla Duty Free. The front desk staff speak Chinese, and their service is attentive, making for a very comfortable stay.
Here's an important heads-up for my fellow travelers coming to Jeju: be extra cautious with the male clerk working at the CU convenience store diagonally opposite the hotel on July 18th between 5 PM and 6 PM. The total amount at checkout didn't match my calculation. After paying, I asked him for the receipt, and he accurately said ”xiaopiao” (receipt) in Chinese, clearly understanding Chinese perfectly. When I tried to communicate in English, his demeanor soured, and he used hostile and very unfriendly language. He didn't care at all, even when I told him I would report it to headquarters.

Guest UserSeamless check-in experience due to self check in kiosk. Staff was able to assist with storage of breast milk. Room was spacious with a spacious bath tub and a beautiful ocean view. However, gym was stuffy and no water filter or towels provided. So do take note. Basic gym equipments in a small room. Overall, still enjoyed my time here. If you’re a foreigner, do wait for the staff to finish checking your room before officially checking out. If you’re a local, I observed to be quite instant. So there is quite a local first, foreigners second service here. But to each its own. Just be patient and be happy.

KuangxiaodemayiThe hotel is conveniently located about 2.4km from the airport and offers breakfast. It's a typical budget business hotel often used by tour groups. The rooms are small, and it can get crowded, so the value for money isn't great. However, the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and provide directions to tourist attractions after looking them up online. It's also about a 20-minute drive to the Olle Trail, accessible via subway line 16.

Guest UserVery good hotel. It’s not close to airport, but the distance is not that long (by taxi). Ordered taxi using airport wi-fi, payed by cash. Very nice receptionists. Clean room, pool on the roof with a nice view. There were not many people (in July). We arrived late but it wasn’t a problem to check in and there is a shop nearby which works at night. There are also some cafes and bars around. Beach is very close, you can go by walk. There are also restaurants and bars on the way. 100% good choice even if you stay for 2 nights.
