"The hotel is pretty good, conveniently located close to everything. I've noticed that male front desk staff in Korea tend to be friendlier, and the cleaning ladies (ajummas) were also very nice. There's a restaurant at the intersection on the left side of the hotel that I highly recommend; the owner brought us fish every day and they even had Chinese-speaking staff. It was fantastic! Oh, one thing, the cleanliness of the swimming pool could use some improvement."

"Staying here in Jeju is a breeze: it's only about 10 minutes from the airport, and the hotel even offers a free shuttle, so arriving at 17:55 isn't an issue at all. The basic rooms start at 65sqm with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, offering views of Hallasan, the city, and the jelly-like sea all at once. The high-floor sea views and nightscapes are much more impressive than many hotels in Jeju city center. The 4290sqm outdoor pool area on the 8th floor features an infinity pool, a jacuzzi, and a children's pool – soaking in warm water while watching the sunset is incredibly picturesque. The 38th-floor sky lounge and sky food hall offer stunning views of the city lights. Grand Kitchen has seven open kitchens serving brunch. You can find Changwon Black Pork and Hanwoo, Grand Hyatt Beijing Roast Duck, Sichuan Hotpot, and Monsan Japanese cuisine all within the building, so you could easily eat for two days without even leaving. The Grand Hyatt Jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) has red clay, cypress, ice, and salt rooms – it's incredibly relaxing to steam after a day of walking around before heading back to your room."

"First off, a lot of the hotel's descriptions on the booking page are inaccurate. I'm not sure how it got the 'Chinese Preferred' label, because the two front desk staff members working when I checked in didn't speak any Chinese and said there was no Chinese service. When I tried to communicate with them using a translation app, they seemed a bit impatient. Later, customer service told me they do have Chinese-speaking staff, but they weren't on duty. At the very least, the original staff should have explained that there are Chinese speakers, but they weren't available, and apologized. Also, regarding the deposit: the page clearly stated no deposit was required, and it never mentioned needing to put down a credit card number. They just said it was either a credit card or 100,000 Korean Won. The hotel facilities are standard chain fare, nothing special. I hope Trip.com can be more accurate in its hotel descriptions in the future, otherwise it's misleading for customers!"

"For my first trip to Jeju, I opted for a branded hotel, which was very convenient as it's located in the city center, right above Lotte Duty Free, and close to the airport. This saved a lot of travel time, especially on the way back when there were long delays for check-in, baggage drop, and security at the airport. The hotel breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety. I stayed in a sea view room this time, and it was great; I even had the good fortune to see a double rainbow 🌈. Very satisfied, highly recommend."

"The hotel's location is good; it's right across from Shilla Duty-Free Shop, making getting around convenient. There's also a supermarket in the lobby on the second floor, which is handy for buying things. This time, I stayed in family room 1602, which offered views of the sea and the airport. However, the air conditioning in this room wasn't working well. After maintenance came to check it out, they just gave us an extra fan, but it was still so hot we were sweating and couldn't sleep well. Also, for stays of two nights, the hotel doesn't clean the room; they only provide a few bottles of water and towels. Only guests staying three nights get one cleaning service. The room itself only had a small round table, and the bathroom counter was tiny, making it inconvenient to place items. Overall, the facilities are quite dated. In my opinion, it's fine for a one-night stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for multiple consecutive nights."

"Let me start with the most shocking part: the shampoo at Shilla Stay is absolutely amazing, beyond words! Our hair is usually frizzy, and we've tried countless shampoos and hair oils, but none have ever left our hair completely frizz-free, smooth, and shiny like this one. It's a life-changing shampoo that even makes one feel gentler. I was moved to tears! It completely surpasses brands like Kérastase, L'Occitane, and Furterer. My daughter was so impressed, she decided not to wash her hair again until school starts, just to keep it this way! Unfortunately, the front desk told me they don't sell it, and I couldn't find it online either. It's such a shame; how can a shampoo be so good? Shilla Stay could really boost their profits just by selling this shampoo – it's that incredible! Other points: The location is convenient, with a duty-free shop right next door. The hotel is clean and generally good. But honestly, nothing else matters as much as that life-changing shampoo. I really hope they'll start selling it in the lobby, just like Atour and All Seasons hotels do 😭!!! I would definitely come back to Jeju just for this shampoo."

"Our stay at Hotel Leo in Jeju was truly memorable. Special thanks to Helen — From the moment we arrived, the experience was elevated by the incredible hospitality. She’s an absolute star: warm, friendly, genuinely helpful, and so enthusiastic. Her energy made us feel instantly welcome, and her thoughtful recommendations and chats added such a personal touch to our stay. The location is very convenient for getting around, and our Room 306 was spacious and comfortable. We especially loved the smart steam closet—such a thoughtful touch after long days out. A fantastic stay overall, combining comfort, convenience, and heartfelt service. Highly recommended!"

"This hotel offers incredible value for money! It's right by the sea, and my room had a beautiful ocean view. The room itself was very spacious. I arrived before 12 PM, and even though check-in is usually after 3 PM, they had an available room and let me check in early, which was a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff was lovely and spoke English well. In the evening, you can just walk over to watch the sunset. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Jeju Island!"

"0. **Overall:** I'd rate this place an 8/10. It's priced similarly to the Grand Hyatt but is in a completely different league [chuckle]. Most of the guests here are Korean, including many locals, making it a very authentic resort hotel [thumbs up]. 1. **Service:** From check-in, the front desk staff are all handsome guys and beautiful ladies. Their English is decent, and some also offer Chinese service. There's even a concierge service [you can add them on WeChat for instant Chinese communication] [blushing]. The staff genuinely put in effort to help you, and even if they can't always solve an issue, they're good at emotional support [adorable]. 2. **Transportation:** The location is a bit out of the way (mainly because most guests are Korean and drive), so I highly recommend binding your Uber account in advance if you plan to stay here. Also, the nearest convenience store requires a drive, so make sure to stock up on water, drinks, and snacks before you arrive [smiling face]. I foolishly tried to Uber from the hotel to the CU convenience store and back. When I saw the estimated fare was over 8,000 Korean Won, I silently closed Uber again [facepalm]. 3. **Pool:** The rooftop boasts an Instagram-famous infinity pool. The best time for photos is around 7 PM when the sun sets [selfie]. However, the water was quite dirty; after swimming, I noticed many indescribable things. I'd suggest just taking photos and checking it off your list [stoned]. The sauna is a bit small but usable. Both the pool and sauna/showers close at 8 PM, and they usually start aggressively ushering people out by 7:45 PM [crying with laughter]. 4. **Dining:** There are no duds in the restaurant; you can order and pick anything blindly! The breakfast was quite satisfying. While it can't compare to Atlantis, it's only slightly inferior to the Shangri-La's offerings [peeking eyes]. I highly recommend The Stone restaurant on the 3rd floor. I took a bunch of photos but couldn't find it listed on review sites. Their set menu is actually a great deal, but you need to book it a day in advance. If you don't get a set menu, N people will be more than satisfied with N+1 dishes; the portions are quite generous [thumbs up]. 5. **Accommodation:** Overall, I was happy with the room, but it was incredibly hot on the first night. The AC was on all night, and it was still hot [black question mark]. I pulled back the curtains and felt the glass – it was scorching [facepalm]! I don't know why this building absorbs so much heat but dissipates it so poorly, probably great for winter guests [frustrated]. Also, the large floor-to-ceiling window facing east doesn't have thick curtains, so you'll automatically wake up with the sun in the morning [facepalm]. The room is very spacious, and the shower and bath were excellent. It takes about an hour to fill the bathtub [sleeping face]. My personal tip is to fill it with hot water for 45 minutes, then add cold water for about 10 minutes, and it'll be perfect for a soak [sidelong glance]."
