"Location: The hotel is right by the sea. It's a 3km taxi ride from the airport and a 5km taxi ride from Baojian Road. Dongmun Market is an 800-meter walk away. Surroundings: It's near a port with several restaurants. You can walk to a seaview cafe at the port. There's a 7-11 downstairs, a CU convenience store 200 meters away, and a medium-sized supermarket 400 meters away, all offering tax refunds, which is very convenient. Facilities: Honestly, it's a bit old. The room is neither too big nor too small, just enough. The bathroom has a shower, not a bathtub, which is great. The bathroom door design is a flaw; it's hard to use when half-open. I really liked the orange-scented hand soap, but couldn't find it for purchase. The pillows are very comfortable, and the duvet is very thick. The balcony is fantastic for getting some fresh air. The hotel pool is open from afternoon till night, it's not very big, but you can enjoy drinks at the poolside bar and watch the sunset. The gym opens at 6:30 AM – quite early! Service: The front desk lady was quite cold, didn't communicate much, nor did she explain the WiFi or facilities. For our 4-night stay, we didn't get a proper sea view room but rather one facing the port, which felt like being on a trip to Xiangshan. However, there was a young male front desk staff who was very polite, enthusiastic, and kind. When I burned myself eating, he was very nice and helped me find a pharmacy. Big thumbs up for him! When traveling, you want to be happy, so I hope for more service with a smile."

"First off, a lot of the hotel's descriptions on the booking page are inaccurate. I'm not sure how it got the 'Chinese Preferred' label, because the two front desk staff members working when I checked in didn't speak any Chinese and said there was no Chinese service. When I tried to communicate with them using a translation app, they seemed a bit impatient. Later, customer service told me they do have Chinese-speaking staff, but they weren't on duty. At the very least, the original staff should have explained that there are Chinese speakers, but they weren't available, and apologized. Also, regarding the deposit: the page clearly stated no deposit was required, and it never mentioned needing to put down a credit card number. They just said it was either a credit card or 100,000 Korean Won. The hotel facilities are standard chain fare, nothing special. I hope Trip.com can be more accurate in its hotel descriptions in the future, otherwise it's misleading for customers!"

"Although the room was a bit small, it was very clean and tidied daily. Even though the hotel has been open for a while, it doesn't feel old or run-down at all. The front desk staff were also very nice (even though we were given a room in the very corner). The full-length windows were spotless, allowing us to watch the sunset with my family every evening when we returned. The bathroom had a smart toilet, and the shower had excellent water pressure – very comfortable! Overall, I highly recommend it, except for the slightly higher prices during the July summer holiday season."

"The hotel's location is good; it's right across from Shilla Duty-Free Shop, making getting around convenient. There's also a supermarket in the lobby on the second floor, which is handy for buying things. This time, I stayed in family room 1602, which offered views of the sea and the airport. However, the air conditioning in this room wasn't working well. After maintenance came to check it out, they just gave us an extra fan, but it was still so hot we were sweating and couldn't sleep well. Also, for stays of two nights, the hotel doesn't clean the room; they only provide a few bottles of water and towels. Only guests staying three nights get one cleaning service. The room itself only had a small round table, and the bathroom counter was tiny, making it inconvenient to place items. Overall, the facilities are quite dated. In my opinion, it's fine for a one-night stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for multiple consecutive nights."

"Let me start with the most shocking part: the shampoo at Shilla Stay is absolutely amazing, beyond words! Our hair is usually frizzy, and we've tried countless shampoos and hair oils, but none have ever left our hair completely frizz-free, smooth, and shiny like this one. It's a life-changing shampoo that even makes one feel gentler. I was moved to tears! It completely surpasses brands like Kérastase, L'Occitane, and Furterer. My daughter was so impressed, she decided not to wash her hair again until school starts, just to keep it this way! Unfortunately, the front desk told me they don't sell it, and I couldn't find it online either. It's such a shame; how can a shampoo be so good? Shilla Stay could really boost their profits just by selling this shampoo – it's that incredible! Other points: The location is convenient, with a duty-free shop right next door. The hotel is clean and generally good. But honestly, nothing else matters as much as that life-changing shampoo. I really hope they'll start selling it in the lobby, just like Atour and All Seasons hotels do 😭!!! I would definitely come back to Jeju just for this shampoo."

"This hotel offers incredible value for money! It's right by the sea, and my room had a beautiful ocean view. The room itself was very spacious. I arrived before 12 PM, and even though check-in is usually after 3 PM, they had an available room and let me check in early, which was a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff was lovely and spoke English well. In the evening, you can just walk over to watch the sunset. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Jeju Island!"

"1. This eco-friendly hotel is deeply connected with nature (I personally appreciate that they provide amenities like toothbrushes). 2. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here, especially the hotel's tranquil paths, lush greenery, fresh lawns, and creative roadside seating. It was incredibly relaxing. 3. During our 3-day stay, we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel, and the food was excellent. The ingredients were fresh, and the beef had the same quality and taste as what I've experienced in Europe and the US. 4. The bathroom facilities are great, and the hotel provides Bulgari toiletries, which was a nice touch. 5. The staff were very kind, prompt, and friendly. Many locals also vacation at this hotel (evidenced by the number of local cars). Overall, the hotel felt like a second home to me. I will definitely stay at Amber Pure Hill Hotel again if I return."

"2 of the man in charge of the front desk were unfriendly and looking fierce when we checked in. Upon checking out on the4th morning, we tried to ask them to assist in getting a taxi as I we have an early flight which they were reluctant. However, they complied but shouted at us to sit tight while he called for a taxi. This was uncalled for. Will never stay again even if the offer is free."

The room was clean and tidy, and the owners were incredibly nice. The scenery outside the guesthouse was absolutely stunning; a walk in the morning or evening is all you need, no need to go to a distant beach. There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, which is super convenient. It's close to the airport, but a bit far from other attractions, which is a minor drawback. Some people mentioned issues with not being able to check-in after 10 PM, and I experienced this too. However, I emailed the owners in advance, and they replied quickly. After asking for my flight number, they helped me book a taxi (though a bit pricey, it was very convenient) and waited for us until 10:30 PM. So, everyone should check their operating hours and communicate in advance when booking to avoid any problems.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The decor was also nice. We were assigned a room on the 10th and top floor. You can order takeout to eat in the room, but you'll need to contact the front desk to help dispose of the food waste, which they were friendly enough to assist with. I tried calling the front desk once, but they only spoke Korean. However, going downstairs and using a translation app face-to-face solved the problem.

Before arriving at the guesthouse, the host texted to ask about my arrival time to make sure that someone will be at the reception to receive me :) instructions were very clear and the host was very polite. Free breakfast for the guests as well! There is an outdoor area where there is movie screening at night. Pantry and rest area are also very comfortable :) Toilet and dressing room are also kept clean! Maybe my only qualm is that the bunk bed was close to the ceiling so please be careful - tho they had foams to protect your head ! Overall a really good stay there and host recommended a really nice local food place to eat at so im very happy about it ! There are bus stops nearby to get to Dongmun Market or the Airport too.

Two adults and two children for a 6-night stay during our summer international trip for our 2-year-old's birthday. The location is fantastic, the room size is great, and the service is excellent – absolutely nothing to complain about. Right outside the hotel, you have duty-free shops, Haidilao, and the pedestrian street. All sorts of trendy spots are nearby, even a hospital. Hotel staff always greeted us with smiles when we came and went, and even played with our kids. When a taxi driver had trouble with the location, the lobby staff helped communicate in Korean. You can pay extra to use the pool on the 2nd floor; there were more lifeguards than guests, and designated resting areas. Both pools on the 2nd floor are heated, making them friendly for all age groups. We will definitely be back to this hotel!!!

Staying here was incredibly convenient. The hotel is only about an eight-minute taxi ride from the airport, and it's very clean. As a couple, we found it extremely handy. It's surrounded by eateries and very close to the city center. We could easily find many of the popular spots recommended on Xiaohongshu nearby. However, I'd still recommend using Google Maps for food searches, as about half of Xiaohongshu's recommendations are ads, and you might end up with a bad meal. I forgot to take photos of the hotel, so I'll just share some pictures of the nearby attractions and the food I ate.

Room was clean, a nice apartment space (although quite cramped - i would not expect this feeling from a deluxe room). The washing machine worked well, as did all the appliances. I reccomened foreign visitors to use google translate images to understand the washing machine and air conditioning, If they had some English instructions it would be fabulous of course but its not something i expect. Location is pretty good, not too far from the citys main areas, with a short trip to the airport. If you're looking for an apartment-like space then its great. Do note that the two buildings (although directly next to each other) do not connect, so make sure you are in the right building. The name 'Hyde city' was not seen (?) only 'The Ocean City' - this also made navigation a little tricky. This hotel is great! The location is super convenient, with a 7-Eleven right downstairs and a CU convenience store just a short walk away. There's a bus stop right outside the door, and it's also close to the duty-free shop. You don't need to bring a universal adapter, but you will need to bring your own disposable toiletries as the hotel doesn't provide them. They have self check-in machines at the front desk with a Chinese language option, which is a nice touch.

Everything was clean, from the front desk to the room. The back parking lot offers an ocean view, and the room offers a great view of the ocean as well. The proximity to the ocean makes for a great walk, and there's a 24-hour convenience store just a three-minute walk away.
