Gloucester Hotel Jeju

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center. There's a 7-Eleven on the second floor of the building, and a bus stop right outside. You can get here from the airport on bus 600 or 601, it's just one stop away. A 24-hour pork backbone soup restaurant and Olive Young are just a few steps downstairs, and a CU convenience store is across the street. The room is clean and comfortable, and you can see the sea from the window.

Stayed in Jeju with friends, everything was great! Free parking was a plus for self-driving. The only downside was that the curtains weren't blackout, even with two layers, light still seeped through, which affected our sleep quality.

The room was cleaned immaculately every day! The front desk staff were also very friendly. The hotel's location is extremely convenient.

The hotel's location is impeccable, very close to Shilla Duty Free. The front desk staff speak Chinese, and their service is attentive, making for a very comfortable stay. Here's an important heads-up for my fellow travelers coming to Jeju: be extra cautious with the male clerk working at the CU convenience store diagonally opposite the hotel on July 18th between 5 PM and 6 PM. The total amount at checkout didn't match my calculation. After paying, I asked him for the receipt, and he accurately said "xiaopiao" (receipt) in Chinese, clearly understanding Chinese perfectly. When I tried to communicate in English, his demeanor soured, and he used hostile and very unfriendly language. He didn't care at all, even when I told him I would report it to headquarters.

The room facilities were complete, and the hygiene was good. Since I was in the first room down the hallway, I had windows facing both east and south. Watching the sunrise in the morning and enjoying the sea view at night was absolutely wonderful!

The transportation is very convenient and the hotel's location is great. There are many restaurants nearby, and an Olive Young is just a short walk away. It's close to Lotte, and a bit further to Shilla. The hotel lobby offers luggage storage and a comfortable resting area with plenty of air conditioning! There's a 7-Eleven on the second floor of the hotel, and a CU across the street, making shopping, dining, and sightseeing incredibly convenient!

The room was pretty good. I was worried the king-sized bed room would be too small for two, so we booked a deluxe twin room, which felt spacious enough. We checked in an hour early, and they put us on the 17th floor with a great view – all the pictures I took were from the hotel's 17th floor. The room was much cleaner than I expected, and the bed was really soft. The cleaning staff came to tidy up every day, and having a fridge in the room was very convenient! The 7-Eleven on the second floor of the hotel was our must-visit spot after finishing our day's activities, perfect for grabbing drinks and instant noodles. The only downside was probably the bathtub; you have to be a bit careful when getting in to shower.

The hotel is clean and tidy, with excellent surrounding amenities and a superb location. It's very close to Healthcare Road and major duty-free shops. The front desk staff speak a little Chinese, and check-in is available from 3 PM.
