We stayed here for 6 nights and had a very comfortable and pleasant experience—it truly felt like a home away from home. Housekeeping is done daily, which was a big plus. They replenished one 2-litre water bottles, provided four small towels, and emptied the trash every day, keeping the room consistently clean and tidy. The room comes with a small kitchenette that is well equipped with cutlery, drinking glasses, shot glasses, a kettle, microwave, and a full-size household refrigerator with both freezer and fridge compartments. There is also an electric stove, though the only downside is that no pots or pans are provided, so cooking is limited. One of the highlights is the large, human-sized window that can be opened to let in fresh air, along with an amazing scenic view outside. The bathroom is clean and modern, designed in soothing neutral tones. They provide good-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and the high-pressure shower is excellent—perfect for a refreshing bath after a long day. The TV includes Netflix access without needing to log in to your own account, which is very convenient. The owner is extremely kind and friendly. Since we had a longer stay, she kindly allowed us to use the washing machine, provided clothes hangers, and arranged a place for us to air-dry our laundry, which was very thoughtful. The location is excellent—directly opposite the property is a 24-hour 7-Eleven. In the early morning, there’s also a café at the lobby selling coffee and baked goods, which is especially helpful as many eateries in Jeju only open around 10:30 am. One thing to note: check-in should be done early, as the staff do not work overnight. After 7:30 pm, there will be no one available to hand over keys. Overall, this is a very welcoming place, and we truly appreciated the comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. We would definitely return and stay here again.

This summer, my family and I went to Jeju Island for our vacation. With a large group, we were looking for accommodation that could fit everyone and stumbled upon Gillly Resort. Even though it's a private villa, the peak season price wasn't significantly higher than other places, and the photos showed clean facilities with many positive reviews, so we ultimately chose it. As soon as we arrived, the kids exclaimed ”Wow!” and were thrilled, excitedly wanting to sleep in the upstairs room. Having two bathrooms was convenient for a large group, and the spacious, roomy area was perfect for the family to gather and spend time together. We felt comfortable and never cramped. The interior of the villa was decorated with warm wooden accents, and it felt incredibly clean and thoughtfully detailed throughout. We could see the owner's care and effort everywhere, and it seemed like they meticulously prepared everything to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. ☺️ Thanks to this, our Jeju trip was even more comfortable and left us with enjoyable memories. If I visit Jeju Island again, I definitely plan to book Gillly Resort again. 👍👍

The room was clean and tidy, and the owners were incredibly nice. The scenery outside the guesthouse was absolutely stunning; a walk in the morning or evening is all you need, no need to go to a distant beach. There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, which is super convenient. It's close to the airport, but a bit far from other attractions, which is a minor drawback. Some people mentioned issues with not being able to check-in after 10 PM, and I experienced this too. However, I emailed the owners in advance, and they replied quickly. After asking for my flight number, they helped me book a taxi (though a bit pricey, it was very convenient) and waited for us until 10:30 PM. So, everyone should check their operating hours and communicate in advance when booking to avoid any problems.

Service: Arrived at 12 AM Korea time, and the front desk gentleman spoke excellent Chinese, which made communication very easy. The hotel hallway was wide and smelled lovely. Even though it was fully booked, it was very quiet for sleeping, so the soundproofing seems good. Cleanliness: Housekeeping cleaned daily. There were no disposable toothbrushes, so you'll need to bring your own. The leather slippers weren't disposable either, so I'd recommend bringing your own slippers. Facilities: There's a kettle and a mini-fridge, with mineral water replenished daily. There are two Chinese-style power outlets, but the bedside outlets are Korean, so it's more convenient to bring your own adapter if you need one. Surroundings: The CU downstairs is open from 6:30 AM to 11 PM, but there's a 24-hour CU just 150 meters away. There are also 24-hour pollock soup and pork bone soup restaurants nearby. Compose Coffee is across the street. Overall, it's great, the streets are quiet, and it's easy to catch a taxi.

Before arriving at the guesthouse, the host texted to ask about my arrival time to make sure that someone will be at the reception to receive me :) instructions were very clear and the host was very polite. Free breakfast for the guests as well! There is an outdoor area where there is movie screening at night. Pantry and rest area are also very comfortable :) Toilet and dressing room are also kept clean! Maybe my only qualm is that the bunk bed was close to the ceiling so please be careful - tho they had foams to protect your head ! Overall a really good stay there and host recommended a really nice local food place to eat at so im very happy about it ! There are bus stops nearby to get to Dongmun Market or the Airport too.

The hotel's soundproofing is extremely poor. On the first night, it felt very hot after 11 PM, and the air conditioning stayed at 24 degrees Celsius for over two hours (even though it was set to 18 degrees). There was also a constant thumping sound, similar to walking, from upstairs. After calling the front desk to report the issue, the noise did not stop. Later, after discussing with Trip.com customer service, we decided to change rooms. A front desk staff member came to help move our luggage to the new room. When we first arrived at the new room, the noise indeed disappeared, but it wasn't long before the thumping sound returned and continued non-stop until around 2:30 AM, severely affecting our rest. For light sleepers, it would be absolutely maddening. On the second day, we realized the noise was coming from all directions. Both the ceiling and wall soundproofing were quite poor, with frequent strange noises. Overall, our stay significantly impacted our rest. I called hotel room service to request two buckwheat pillows or firmer pillows, but the ones brought were the same as the original pillows in the room. English communication was not very smooth. The room facilities are a bit old. The only advantage is the hotel's good location, which is very convenient for guests traveling by car as there is free parking. You just need to provide your license plate information to the front desk during check-in.

Stayed 3 nights. Will not be back. Absolutely uncomfortable stay. Rooms lacks even most basic amenities to make a comfortable stay. The only advantage of this hotel is the location, courteous front desk staff, fuss free and fast check in, and clean and spacious room. Now for the cons, there are plenty. Room is too dim for comfort, and there were insufficient power sockets located randomly and without consideration for guests' needs. Despite the relatively big room, there's no luggage rack, very inconvenient. A safe deposit box is also not available. Aircon in room is hopeless, as good as not having. No coffee sachets, only kettle and tea bags. Dont even have a spoon to stir our tea with! Toilet is clean but one wonders where to hang the clothes because there isnt any rack or hook to hang our clothes. Toothbrush and toothpaste not provided. The toilet door opens on the ”wrong” side. Most hotels that i have been to has the shower or bath tub behind the door, unlike this one that has the sink directly behind the door, causing much inconvenience to wash hands because the toilet door must be closed before the sink can be used. Taps and shower heads do not have clear indication of hot or cold water, have to play around to get the correct temperature, very dangerous for elderly and children. Lifts travel at tortoise speed, takes long time to arrive and takes a long time to get to the cafe for breakfast or to the lobby. Was a torture waiting in the lobby for our guide as it appears as if there's practically no aircon in the lobby. Breakfast is very limited in variety. Will not be back

The location isn't far from the Grand Hyatt, and it's super convenient to walk to the E-Mart supermarket next door, about six or seven minutes on foot. Shilla Duty-Free is only a five-minute walk away, and Baojian Road is just a bit further past Shilla Duty-Free, making it really easy for shopping. The Issac sandwich shop diagonally across from the hotel downstairs is super delicious – definitely don't miss it if you pass by! This time, I stayed in room 1616 which even had a balcony with a distant view of the airport and the sea. If the weather's good, sitting out on the terrace is really comfortable. There's a bus stop right downstairs, and bus 316 goes directly to Dongmun Market. It's also easy to catch a taxi on the main road right outside.

The only reason I am giving this hotel any credit is because of its excellent location. It is very close to a major bus stop, making it easy to travel almost anywhere on Jeju Island. For visitors relying on public transportation, this is definitely a huge advantage. Unfortunately, everything else about my experience was disappointing. I booked a Business Twin Room and paid significantly more than the other room types because I wanted comfort, privacy, and peace of mind during my trip. However, when I checked in, I was informed that the room I had reserved was unavailable. Instead, I was moved to a 4-person bunk-bed dormitory room, which was completely different from what I had paid for and something I was not comfortable with at all. To make matters worse, the bed did not appear clean. It felt as though the bedding had simply been rearranged rather than properly washed for quite some time. The room also had an unpleasant odor, giving the impression that it had not been cleaned thoroughly. Only after I complained did the staff finally clean the room. The biggest issue, however, was the host's attitude and lack of responsibility. When I contacted Trip.com regarding my complaints, it was extremely difficult to communicate with the hotel. Sometimes the host was sleeping, sometimes they could not be found, and whenever contact was finally made, they shifted the responsibility onto me and Trip.com instead of trying to resolve the problem. I was repeatedly told to contact Trip.com myself, which caused unnecessary stress and took away much of the enjoyment from my trip. On the positive side, I would like to sincerely thank Trip.com for their excellent customer service. They were responsive, supportive, and helped me throughout the process. Whenever problems arose, I felt reassured knowing that Trip.com was there to assist me. In the end, they provided fair compensation for the inconvenience, and I truly appreciate their efforts. I will definitely continue booking through Trip.com in the future. However, I will never stay at this hotel again due to the poor service and unprofessional attitude I experienced.

Everything was clean, from the front desk to the room. The back parking lot offers an ocean view, and the room offers a great view of the ocean as well. The proximity to the ocean makes for a great walk, and there's a 24-hour convenience store just a three-minute walk away.
