Jeju bus terminal stop-beware of the separate blue and green bus stop so you wont missed your bus. Naver map and Tmoney help your journey around Jeju. Mr. Peter, himself, messaged me first through trip.com about the time I will be there at their place, which I was hesitant to do that but luckily, he did and that was surprising. Also, he let me leave my luggage in advance. Staff speaks English well and hospitable. As soon as you check in, staff will provide the stuff you needed for your stay in the room plus the indoor slipper to switch with your outdoor shoes to be placed in the closet at the entrance. NO elevator but the girl staff offered to carry my luggage to the room. There is an area in the 2nd floor for dining—designated place to eat—with microwave, water dispenser, dishes and utensils, fridge and freezer, you can cook and wash your dishes. There is a small area designated for reading/relaxing in the 3rd floor, where the entrance to the rooftop(to watch Hallasan sunset and for 8pm projector movie night). 2nd floor for male guests while 3rd fl for females. Sleeping room(is really for sleeping, no room to stretch only in your bed—is very comfortable with one outlet and a lamp) is separate from the shower area with slippers(washbasin/sink and enclosed shower stalls-body wash & shampoo) from the toilet stalls and from the powder/mirror area with hairdryer. If you have a small to medium luggage, you can store it under the bunkbed. There are lockers in every room (a normal school backpack could fit). Walking distance to Yongduam Rock to Yeongyon Bridge to boardwalk for coastal walks—great cafes to watch waves & landing planes and local resto—to Jungang Shopping Street to Jungang Underground Mall to Dongmun Market. If you like mochi, next door of the Mir is delicious and affordable Jeju Mochi which is priced twice in the airport. Convenience stores (7-eleven next door), chicken&fries and local resto around the corner. Mr. Peter met him during the breakfast. He prepared the breakfast—egg sandwich which comes w/black coffee or orange juice. He is nice and approachable. The Mir Guesthouse’s is designed from the Yongduam Rock, it is cool, clean, and magnificent. Solo traveling is fun—meeting new faces, different nationalities, cultures, and witness the amazing nature’s wonder.

0. **Overall:** I'd rate this place an 8/10. It's priced similarly to the Grand Hyatt but is in a completely different league [chuckle]. Most of the guests here are Korean, including many locals, making it a very authentic resort hotel [thumbs up]. 1. **Service:** From check-in, the front desk staff are all handsome guys and beautiful ladies. Their English is decent, and some also offer Chinese service. There's even a concierge service [you can add them on WeChat for instant Chinese communication] [blushing]. The staff genuinely put in effort to help you, and even if they can't always solve an issue, they're good at emotional support [adorable]. 2. **Transportation:** The location is a bit out of the way (mainly because most guests are Korean and drive), so I highly recommend binding your Uber account in advance if you plan to stay here. Also, the nearest convenience store requires a drive, so make sure to stock up on water, drinks, and snacks before you arrive [smiling face]. I foolishly tried to Uber from the hotel to the CU convenience store and back. When I saw the estimated fare was over 8,000 Korean Won, I silently closed Uber again [facepalm]. 3. **Pool:** The rooftop boasts an Instagram-famous infinity pool. The best time for photos is around 7 PM when the sun sets [selfie]. However, the water was quite dirty; after swimming, I noticed many indescribable things. I'd suggest just taking photos and checking it off your list [stoned]. The sauna is a bit small but usable. Both the pool and sauna/showers close at 8 PM, and they usually start aggressively ushering people out by 7:45 PM [crying with laughter]. 4. **Dining:** There are no duds in the restaurant; you can order and pick anything blindly! The breakfast was quite satisfying. While it can't compare to Atlantis, it's only slightly inferior to the Shangri-La's offerings [peeking eyes]. I highly recommend The Stone restaurant on the 3rd floor. I took a bunch of photos but couldn't find it listed on review sites. Their set menu is actually a great deal, but you need to book it a day in advance. If you don't get a set menu, N people will be more than satisfied with N+1 dishes; the portions are quite generous [thumbs up]. 5. **Accommodation:** Overall, I was happy with the room, but it was incredibly hot on the first night. The AC was on all night, and it was still hot [black question mark]. I pulled back the curtains and felt the glass – it was scorching [facepalm]! I don't know why this building absorbs so much heat but dissipates it so poorly, probably great for winter guests [frustrated]. Also, the large floor-to-ceiling window facing east doesn't have thick curtains, so you'll automatically wake up with the sun in the morning [facepalm]. The room is very spacious, and the shower and bath were excellent. It takes about an hour to fill the bathtub [sleeping face]. My personal tip is to fill it with hot water for 45 minutes, then add cold water for about 10 minutes, and it'll be perfect for a soak [sidelong glance].

CNGuest User
Five-star price for three-star amenities, I'd say. We booked a sea-view family room. The first night, the view was great; you opened the curtains right onto the ocean. The second day, we returned from an outing around 8 PM, and when we opened the door, the bathroom had a terrible sewage smell. The staff were very nice about it; we packed up our bags that night and moved to a different room. This one overlooked the pool. They gave us four coffee vouchers, bringing the total to six, including the ones we got at check-in. These vouchers were only good for Americano or bayberry juice at the hotel coffee shop. After settling into the new room, we found the air conditioning wasn't cooling. I didn't dare unpack. I reported it to the front desk, and again, their attitude was excellent; they sent someone to fix it right away. After the repair, it still wasn't cooling. I told the front desk again. They said their system showed the temperature was dropping and asked us to wait a bit longer. By this time, it was past 10 PM, and the kids were getting sleepy, so we just unpacked and showered. After our showers, the maintenance staff came again, worked on it for a long time, and then told us we'd have to move rooms again. I was furious! It was almost midnight, and we had to pack up again and move to a family room with bunk beds, still overlooking the pool. Finally, I proactively asked for four breakfast vouchers, and they were very polite and didn't hesitate to give them to us. At around 5 AM, I was woken up by a bird pecking at the window. I couldn't shoo it away; it would leave for a bit and then come right back. It was so annoying I just had to laugh.

The location is good, with a supermarket nearby and taxis are quick to respond. The front desk service is excellent, with staff who speak Chinese, and you can also add a Chinese butler on WeChat, though they only respond during the day. The room is spacious, bright, and clean, with international power outlets so no adapter is needed. The air conditioning requires a remote control, as the control panel doesn't work. The bathroom facilities aren't great; the toilet isn't smart and the flush is weak. The sink faucet is too short and close to the basin wall, making it hard to wash hands without splashing water everywhere (many bathrooms in Jeju have this issue). The bathtub also seems unstable and wobbles when you stand in it. Overall, it's a good hotel.

Everything else was great, but the noise was unbearable! I stayed in a first-floor room, and every night after 10 PM, I'd hear karaoke right above me. I couldn't tell if it was the room upstairs or a KTV next door, but it was crystal clear. It would quiet down around midnight, and I'd think it was over. Then, at 1 AM, they'd start singing again.

The cost is cheap, the bathroom is insufficient, and the sound insulation is not good. As a night stay in Hanyu Mountain, the location is convenient. There are supermarkets and supermarkets downstairs, and shopping is quite convenient.

There are water heaters on every floor, so you can always get hot water. The hotel is right next to the Grand Hyatt, which means the surrounding amenities are very convenient. Shilla Duty-Free Shop is within walking distance, and the location is excellent with easy access to public transportation. Even though we didn't use it, taxis are also readily available.

EQ Stay was perfect for our stay in Jeju. We had hired a car and were travelling around the island and stopped in for a few nights. We had a private room which was ideal for a couple. The exterior was very cool with a little outdoor dining area/bbq setup. Two cute doggies to pat as well, big bonus. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Would recommend.

In Old Jeju, although public transportation is convenient, it still takes half an hour to go to the center every day. I really cried to death! If you place an order by mistake and then forget it, and you can’t get a refund several days in advance, you no longer need Ctrip to book foreign hotels! ! Eating is not allowed in the room. You can eat as much as you like at the 711 and a fried restaurant downstairs. There is really little food! Sometimes I can’t find the salesperson grandma, so I swipe my card at the self-service machine to pay. The front desk is not open 24 hours a day. There is a small gym on the 5th floor, which is close to the airport. It is not suitable for light sleepers. On windy days, the doors and windows also rattle. It’s really scary. Ha ha ha ha! Also, remember to press the Do Not Disturb button on the wall in the morning, otherwise the aunt will swipe the card to come in and disturb you.

The overall experience is good. For the price paid it has all the basic amenities. There was no air conditioning in the room, but had electric blanket to warm you up at night. The only problem is there is no locker to safe your belongings and the room is not locked during the night, so apart from it it’s not bad overall. Very basic accommodation.
