Very welcoming staff members, and the owner was very friendly and conversational. And a cute, quiet dog who enjoys watching you eat breakfast!
The Included breakfast is an egg and jam sandwich with coffee/juice. Funny combination for the sandwich, but nice to have a classic Korean breakfast.
The kitchen provides crockery and utensils. It has a sink for washing up (everyone must clean up after themselves), cooking facilities (hob), a microwave, water dispenser (hot and cold), and a kettle. They also played the World Cup matches on the TV and music throughout the day. The kitchen closes at 11PM (including the seating area).
The bedroom was decent. The mattress, blanket and pillow were alright. The beds creaked a bit and the curtains had a bit of a gap at the top, letting light in. But no huge issues. There is AC in the bedrooms so it’s not too hot.
The guesthouse was quite empty when I was there, so the 2 toilets and 3 showers were plenty. With body wash, shampoo, a small towel and a hair dryer provided.
The quiet curfew & lights off at 11PM were politely and timely conducted each night. No drying hair after this time, but you can still shower if you’re quiet.
The movie every evening on the terrace/rooftop was slightly hard to see because it gets projected onto the wall. But it’s a cute concept. Although, no one was out there apart from the mosquitos, so I only stayed a few minutes and can’t review the experience fully.
There is a 7-eleven right next door, which is very convenient. And a GS25 just across the road.
The guesthouse is also relatively close to Yongduam Rock and Yongyeon Pond, which are nice scenic spots. There are lots of tour groups at sunset, so maybe avoid those crowds if you can, although it is very beautiful at sunset!
Overall, a very pleasant stay!
