Jeju Bolton Hotel

A great experience overall! The front desk staff could all speak Chinese, which made communication very smooth. The room was also good, spacious enough and quite clean. We even got two free breakfasts, and they were delicious, with fresh Jeju orange juice. It was also my first time trying steamed wagyu beef – a nice touch!

This stay was fantastic! The hotel's location is impeccable – right across from Shilla Duty Free, and within easy walking distance to Lotte Duty Free and the Baojian Road shopping area. Downstairs, there's a GS25 convenience store and various 24-hour restaurants, even a Haidilao, making dining and shopping super convenient. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff offer Chinese-language service, so communication was a breeze, and check-in was very efficient. The room facilities are new, clean, and tidy, ensuring a comfortable stay. For those who love shopping, this place saves time and effort and offers great value for money. The breakfast selection is rich and varied, with good taste and nutritional balance, served in a comfortable, bright, and clean dining environment. Highly recommend, a truly excellent stay!

Location: Near Shilla Duty Free Shop, with KFC and CU convenience store downstairs, and plenty of dining options nearby, which is quite convenient. Environment: Relatively clean and tidy. You can lay out two 28-inch suitcases flat in the room if you move things around a bit. Service: The front desk staff were polite, and the cleaning staff were also very courteous. All three staff members I encountered spoke Chinese. Overall, it was very good, 5 stars, highly recommended. Tip: Before stepping out of the shower in the bathroom, be sure to lay down the bathmat beforehand. The floor can be wet, and the hotel's disposable slippers are very slippery when wet, to prevent falls.

Extremely, extremely, extremely small. So small that I couldn't even open my suitcase. For those considering booking, please be careful. I didn't have any other rooms available and didn't want to move hotels, so I chose this room with floor heating. It was incredibly uncomfortable, and the price wasn't even cheap. Thumbs down. Seriously, do NOT book this room type. It shouldn't even be offered, or rather, it shouldn't have been designed so narrow. Oh, and for the rooftop pool, you need to bring your own towel, otherwise, they charge you for one.

I stayed at the Bolton Hotel for 3 nights in early August. Aside from its excellent location, the hotel had no other highlights. Firstly, the service. I checked in around 3 PM and asked the front desk staff if I could have a room away from the elevator. The front desk said that because I booked a cheaper room type, it could only be near the elevator. Then I asked if they could arrange for a higher floor. The front desk staff, who spoke Chinese, pretended not to understand and assigned both of our rooms to the lowest floor, the 8th floor. Secondly, the hotel room lacked amenities, and there were flying insects in the bathroom. Thirdly, the pillows and mattress were too soft. After one night's sleep, I woke up with a stiff neck and felt uncomfortable all day. We booked two rooms for three nights, costing nearly 7,000 RMB, yet the experience was worse than a 400 RMB-per-night hotel in China. I've never given a bad review before, but this one truly deserves it!

Honestly, the room was really spacious and comfortable, and it even had a window. The only downside was that you have to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.

Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, and the rooms are small. Cleanliness: The hygiene is acceptable, but not as good as in China. Environment: It has everything a city center should have, with both pros and cons. Service: The service is average, not as good as in China. Overall, among the many hotels in Jeju Island, it's still pretty good and offers good value for money. The breakfast is excellent and worth trying, as there are few breakfast places in Korea.

I never leave bad reviews, but I absolutely have to give a poor rating to the staff at the ground floor cafe in this hotel! After we collected our luggage, there were so many people around that we found an empty spot to organize it. Within a short 2 minutes, we were rudely rushed twice, being told this is a consumption area! I said I knew, just a moment, I'm just packing one item. Even that wasn't allowed, I'm honestly speechless. The hotel lobby is so small, there are so many people, and the cafe area is right next to the luggage storage. You're part of the hotel, do you really have to be so petty about us just packing something? We weren't even sitting there resting, it was only 3-4 minutes total. Do you really have to be so particular? This kind of service is truly bizarre and really tarnishes the hotel's reputation! I hope the hotel provides proper training and education for such employees, who are so unreasonable and nitpicky.
