The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the view was great, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were warm and attentive, providing excellent service. The hotel's location is superb, offering convenient transportation, and the breakfast selection was extensive.

Facilities: The facilities are new and comprehensive. There's a capsule coffee machine, complimentary water, a toiletries set, a hairdryer, disposable slippers, and an iron. The room is cozy with plenty of lighting, unlike some hotels that can be dim. Upon check-in, you receive a complimentary glass of water or spirits. Cleanliness: Extremely clean. I'd say it's the cleanest European hotel I've ever stayed in. Location: It's very convenient, just a short walk up to Amsterdam Centraal Station. I'm not sure if the building opposite is a university or a high school, and it seems like the city hall is nearby, so safety shouldn't be an issue. Service: The two Caucasian women at the front desk were very friendly and patient. I'm a bit sensitive to noise, and the lady at the front desk specifically arranged a quiet room for me on the sixth floor, which I really appreciate. Soundproofing: The soundproofing is good; the walls are solid, not hollow, which is a great plus. Overall, it was a very good experience.

I visited Bunk with two friends on a city break to Amsterdam. We had a lovely experience. We were able make use of lockers while waiting to check in, €5 for 6 hours, which was perfect as we had arrived early in the morning. The location of the hostel is ideal. It is a 5 minute walk from Noorderpark Metro station, which is one stop from the Centraal Station. We were close enough that getting into the city centre was convenient, but far enough out that the noise level was not too much when trying to sleep! The hostel is very close to a supermarket, as well as other shops such as Hema and Etos, and a very lovely bakery. It is a lovely neighbourhood and we never felt unsafe there. We stayed in a 3 person private room, which was cozy, but for what we needed it for, perfect! My only advice would be not to book this room if you are not comfortable and close to those you are staying with! The toilet and shower area has frosted glass, but you can still see a lot from outside the bathroom area, and we often either used the toilet downstairs or asked the others to leave the room while we showered as we felt more comfortable that way. Maybe other people would be more okay with this, but this is what worked for us. The staff are very helpful. We had issues with things getting stuck in the vending machines and they opened them up for us no problem. The sheets on my bed had slight staining, however it was nothing major. Other than this, the room was very clean. I would recommend Bunk, especially the room we had, to a group of friends on a trip to Amsterdam, and looking for a place which is very central but not too noisy and busy. At that moment, I was not properly dressed, making the situation extremely embarrassing and a serious invasion of my privacy. This conduct was completely unacceptable. Furthermore, during this interaction, two members of your staff spoke to me in Dutch in what appeared to be an abusive and mocking manner. Although I do not understand Dutch, their tone, gestures, and overall behaviour were intimidating, disrespectful, and deeply humiliating. No guest should ever be treated in such a degrading way. The second issue concerns my food delivery. I had ordered food late at night, and it was left at the reception. When I went to collect it a few hours later, I was informed that the food had been thrown away. I was never contacted, no attempt was made to inform me that my order had arrived, and no explanation was provided as to why my personal property had been discarded. This is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a shocking lack of respect for guests and their belongings. The combination of these incidents reflects an alarming lack of professionalism, respect for guest privacy, and basic customer service standards. I expect the following: 1. A formal investigation into the conduct of the staff involved. 2. A written explanation as to why my room was entered against my explicit instructions. 3. An explanation as to why my food delivery was disposed of without my consent or any attempt to contact me. 4. An apology addressing the unacceptable treatment I experienced. 5. This is a pretty standard luxury hotel, with no major issues. There's a mini-fridge, but it's not cold enough and doesn't come stocked with anything. However, the umbrella is a high-end carbon fiber one, which is quite rare and a nice touch. The bathroom drain had a bit of a problem, probably a clog from hair that needs to be cleaned promptly. My biggest issue, though, was the front desk – they were incredibly slow! Especially during check-out. I've never seen a hotel where you have to wait in line one by one; usually, you just leave your room card and go.

The greatest bonus point is that the Holiday Inn Express Hotel is conveniently located just beside the Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station, ~ 3 mins walk! Our rooms were nicely cleaned, wifi strength was strong, the complimentary breakfast buffet spread includes a selection of freshly baked pastries, cereals, fresh fruits, juices, boiled eggs & many different sweet & savoury toppings ☺️ We have only one feedback for improvement is the unfortunate heavy stench of urine smell left behind by some of the inconsiderate public members in front of the hotel entrance 😭 All in All, it was a wonderful stay created by each hardworking hotel staff member & the management team - awesome job!

Hotel was very far from the ferry terminal. This was known when I booked the hotel so no fault of the hotel just that if you are booking here, it will take you 15-20 mins to get to the ferry terminal to take F2 ferry to Amsterdam Centraal. Otherwise take a bus to the metro stop in 10 mins would be faster for exploring the city. Breakfast was basic but included free so nothing to complain about. Room was generally clean. Only small issue that it can get really busy during peak season and lifts take 2-3 mins to arrive. Breakfast if you eat too late spills out of the main dining area. Very crowded. Best to eat breakfast before 8am. Many nice food places and supermarket near hotel.

The location is about a 10–15 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. The check-in desk is located deep inside a bar, which makes it a bit difficult to find. There is no elevator, so guests with heavy luggage should be careful, as carrying bags up the stairs can be inconvenient and unsafe

This is a large international chain hotel with excellent facilities, good hygiene, a top-notch environment, and standardized service. The hotel is located across the water from Central Station, and there's a free ferry service available 24/7. The pier and the view of the water are beautiful, and crossing the sea every day adds a unique charm to the experience.

Great location - short walk to the Muiderpoort station and a 5 mins train ride into Amsterdam Centraal! For the price, the accomodation was very reasonable and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. House keeping comes by everyday so you always have a clean room and towels. A fridge in the room is also very handy. Staff are there 24/7 and very helpful.  The walls are thin, so if you have noisy neighbours you can hear everything, so it could be annoying!  Overall, great stay in Amsterdam!
