Hotels with Parking in Amsterdam

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is within walking distance of most tourist attractions in the city center. The hotel staff are very polite and the room is cleaned every day. It is a hotel that I highly recommend. I will definitely stay here next time👍

Excellent room, excellent location and atmosphere of the hotel. Staff however, too often, go according to the 'book', and find it hard to think and improvise on the spot. It's as if they are under trained. When checking in there is no need to ask the guest to fill info on the iPad. You have this info, to stay in touch, already. Don't burden the weary traveler with trivial nonsense. If the sun shines, finally after weeks of grey and rain, and a guest sees the patio with tables in the sun, and this guest wants to have tea in the sun outside in the patio, this has to be a possibility. Don't say, well it's not the season so it's closed, it doesn't make sense, you're a top hotel, not the vander Valk. Improvise, think on your feet, explain that he is welcome to sit there and that his tea will be brought out, but it might take a few minutes longer. This way the guest feels listened to and that the moon is even possible. The kitchen is incredible, the food is wonderful. Last evening I had dinner at the Jansz., two ladies working, were very kind, helpful and attentive, they understood the delicate balance between asking how things are going and leaving the guest alone. I want them to know i appreciate them. Please extend my gratitude to them. Also the Asian looking lady who worked during breakfast this morning, was excellent. Please let her know as well. Finally, the staff at the entrance - getting cabs etc. - are great. Some of the male staff are too - in Dutch, popy yoopy. I am your guest and not your friend. That's all, and that's enough. Really nice hotel. The reception staff I encountered were friendly, room was really clean and nice. Only downsides were there was a really strong draft in the room even though the heavy curtains and window was closed. It’s also a tiny bit far but wasn’t too much bother.

This has to be one of the most satisfying hotels I've ever stayed in! The location is incredibly convenient; it's just a 3-minute walk to the tram, train, or bus. The room is fully equipped, very spacious, and has a great design, plus there's a TV! When you check in, they give you a box of kitchen cleaning supplies (as shown in the last picture). This is really thoughtful, ensuring guests can make full use of the kitchen even if they didn't bring their own cleaning products. What's more, because my last day of stay was my actual birthday, the hotel even gave me a box of cookies and a thoughtful card ❤️ It was such a heartwarming gesture!

This is a pretty standard luxury hotel, with no major issues. There's a mini-fridge, but it's not cold enough and doesn't come stocked with anything. However, the umbrella is a high-end carbon fiber one, which is quite rare and a nice touch. The bathroom drain had a bit of a problem, probably a clog from hair that needs to be cleaned promptly. My biggest issue, though, was the front desk – they were incredibly slow! Especially during check-out. I've never seen a hotel where you have to wait in line one by one; usually, you just leave your room card and go.

Hotel was very far from the ferry terminal. This was known when I booked the hotel so no fault of the hotel just that if you are booking here, it will take you 15-20 mins to get to the ferry terminal to take F2 ferry to Amsterdam Centraal. Otherwise take a bus to the metro stop in 10 mins would be faster for exploring the city. Breakfast was basic but included free so nothing to complain about. Room was generally clean. Only small issue that it can get really busy during peak season and lifts take 2-3 mins to arrive. Breakfast if you eat too late spills out of the main dining area. Very crowded. Best to eat breakfast before 8am. Many nice food places and supermarket near hotel.

I visited Bunk with two friends on a city break to Amsterdam. We had a lovely experience. We were able make use of lockers while waiting to check in, €5 for 6 hours, which was perfect as we had arrived early in the morning. The location of the hostel is ideal. It is a 5 minute walk from Noorderpark Metro station, which is one stop from the Centraal Station. We were close enough that getting into the city centre was convenient, but far enough out that the noise level was not too much when trying to sleep! The hostel is very close to a supermarket, as well as other shops such as Hema and Etos, and a very lovely bakery. It is a lovely neighbourhood and we never felt unsafe there. We stayed in a 3 person private room, which was cozy, but for what we needed it for, perfect! My only advice would be not to book this room if you are not comfortable and close to those you are staying with! The toilet and shower area has frosted glass, but you can still see a lot from outside the bathroom area, and we often either used the toilet downstairs or asked the others to leave the room while we showered as we felt more comfortable that way. Maybe other people would be more okay with this, but this is what worked for us. The staff are very helpful. We had issues with things getting stuck in the vending machines and they opened them up for us no problem. The sheets on my bed had slight staining, however it was nothing major. Other than this, the room was very clean. I would recommend Bunk, especially the room we had, to a group of friends on a trip to Amsterdam, and looking for a place which is very central but not too noisy and busy. I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service experienced during my recent stay at the Amsterdam Downtown Hotel from 28th May 2026 till 2nd June 2026 I travelled with my family for a 5-night stay, expecting a comfortable and pleasant experience, which unfortunately was not the case. During our stay, we were left without hot water for 2 full nights. This meant my family and I were completely unable to shower or maintain basic personal hygiene. Traveling with family makes this lack of basic services even more stressful and unacceptable for a hotel of your category. Despite raising this issue with your front desk, the problem persisted, significantly impacting our comfort and our overall vacation experience in Amsterdam. After writting 3 emails to them getting no response finally the recepcionist wrote me an email with the following excuse: “”We would like to clarify that this was not a complete absence of hot water during the first two nights, but rather a technical issue where the hot water was only temporarily and intermittently unavailable.”” And its NOT TRUE AT ALL. We stayed with NOT ACCESS to hot wáter during the first 2 days at all and NO techician came to sort it out at all and NO intermittently unavailable. I have requested with my 4th email a partial refund or appropriate compensation for the nights we were left without basic running hot wáter and the hotel managment doest wants to reply me at all about this. Very uypset !!

The cleanliness was excellent, and I found it to be a comfortable base for both sightseeing and business trips. The hotel attracts a diverse clientele, from backpackers to families and groups, contributing to its international atmosphere. The price point is relatively reasonable for an Amsterdam hotel, offering excellent value for money. Access to the city center from the nearest station is good, so I didn't feel any inconvenience when visiting tourist attractions. While it's not a luxury hotel, it's a very attractive option for travelers who prioritize comfort and convenience while keeping their accommodation costs down. I'd highly recommend it as a casual and convenient base for exploring Amsterdam.

There were some inconveniences, like the electricity not working at times and the shower door being incomplete, causing water to spill out. I was told there would be a hairdryer in the room, but there wasn't one. On the positive side, the staff were kind and helpful.
