Hotels with Bars in Haikou

This was my second stay at Z奢 in Haikou, and the hotel staff were as welcoming as ever. From helping with table reservations, luggage assistance, arranging for forgotten items to be sent back, to complimentary souvenirs, and the children's center's attention to kids – you can really feel the vacation and family-friendly hotel atmosphere. Oh, and the roujiamo at breakfast was delicious! A big thank you to Lina, Wang Nan, and Hailey for their excellent care.

I stayed at Novotel Haikou West Coast for 6d5n. There are a few ways to travel from Haikou Meilan Airport to the hotel. The most convenient option is definitely taking Didi. The ride usually takes around 40–50 minutes depending on traffic, and the total fare is approximately RMB 70+. Another option is taking the railway. You would first need to buy a railway ticket to Haikou Railway Station, which costs around RMB 10 and wait for the departure time. After arriving at Haikou Railway Station, you will have to take Didi to the hotel for around RMB 15. There are also buses available, although I did not personally try this option during my trip. The hotel provides free laundry facilities including washing machines, dryers, detergent, and even disinfectant for laundry use. Everything worked properly and the dryer actually dried the clothes well, which was very convenient for travellers. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pillow and bed were cozy, the air-conditioning worked very well, and the room felt warm and relaxing. Daily housekeeping replenished 2 bottles of mineral water and 3 complimentary beverages (sparkling water, Coke, and milk), which was a nice touch. The staff were also accommodating. They allowed me to extend my checkout by 2 hours, which normal check out timing is at 12pm. (additional late checkout charges at rmb40/hr). I am staying at level 4 (total there are 5 levels). I was lucky enough to get a room on the same floor as the gym and laundry area, which made everything very convenient. In terms of location, I think it depends on the purpose of your stay. If your main plan is visiting attractions in the city area every day, this may not be the most convenient option as travelling usually takes around 30–40 minutes by car and each trip can cost around RMB 30+ – 40+ depending on traffic. However, if you are looking for a relaxing hotel stay near the west coast area, this hotel is actually a very good choice. One thing to note is that there are not many eateries nearby. The nearest convenient shopping mall area is called Yuanda (well known one), where you can find restaurants, supermarkets, and snacks. You can take didi there at Rmb 5 to 10 or you can walk there also, but I dont suggest. The only downside for me was that I occasionally noticed cigarette smoke smell in some common areas, and there was a slight dried seafood/damp smell when I return to my room after a day, which may be related to the coastal location but there is a ventilation in the room . Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. *Sorry for the photo quality. I only recorded videos of the room during my stay, so these are screenshots taken from the videos.

The hotel is a bit old, and you can smell a musty odor when you enter the room. However, the hotel staff were excellent! They proactively offered children's toiletries and even brought complimentary fruit to the room upon check-in. On our departure day, one of the kids didn't eat much breakfast, so they spontaneously offered a takeaway box and even gave us two large yogurts! The service truly is fantastic! I would definitely book Guobin Hotel again if it's in the same price range next time.

I was particularly impressed by the bespoke details throughout the hotel, which add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the overall experience. The exceptional service provided by the hotel manager and staff made all the difference. They attended to my VIP requests with remarkable care and attention to detail, ensuring that my needs were met with utmost precision. The hotel manager went above and beyond with personalized off-property recommendations, guiding me to the best local gems—from a vibrant jazz bar to a charming walking street and an exquisite French restaurant. Every recommendation was a real treat, showcasing true VVIP bespoke butler-style service that made my trip even more special. I have traveled extensively across Asia, and I can confidently say that MOS Hotel Haikou holds a unique charm that is hard to find elsewhere. Moreover, during my stay, I was fortunate enough to participate in special edition events that showcased the island's vibrant culture and creativity. It was a perfect blend of relaxation and inspiration, making my visit even more memorable. As a film studio executive, I can say with certainty that MOS Hotel Haikou exceeded all my expectations and more. I left with a heart full of gratitude and inspiration, and I cannot wait to return to this extraordinary haven. The hotel's hygiene is excellent, and the facilities are well-maintained. From the front desk staff to the housekeeping, executive lounge, and breakfast restaurant attendants, as well as the doormen and porters, everyone's service was superb and very attentive. A special shout-out to Yu Yuhuan at the front desk for her warm and professional service; she even gave a welcome gift to my child! While the dinner selection at the executive lounge isn't extensive, every dish was delicious. Plus, the sunset view from the 20th-floor terrace is absolutely stunning. The breakfast restaurant is spacious and not crowded, offering a wide variety of tasty Chinese and Western options that surpass many other hotels of the same star rating. The hotel also has plenty of free parking. In the evening, you can enjoy a lively stroll near Century Bridge. I will definitely choose to stay at The Westin Haikou again.

The hotel's location and environment are excellent. Right across the street is a large shopping mall, which is super convenient. I really loved the decor and facilities. The room was spacious, on a high floor with large windows, offering great natural light and a fantastic view. My first impression upon entering was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable, just like in the pictures. The 'super large bed' really *was* super large, haha! You could practically roll around on it, perfect for our family of four. The room amenities were comprehensive, including an AI voice assistant, a bathtub, and a smart toilet, which the kids especially enjoyed. If you're looking for a comfortable stay while visiting Haikou, I highly recommend this place.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Qilou Old Street and Haikou East Station, making travel incredibly convenient. Vientiane City (MixC) is right next to the hotel, so dining and shopping are also very easy. We booked a sea-view room, and the view was expansive and the room was very quiet. The room size was super large; even with two colleagues, it didn't feel cramped at all. The breakfast had a wide variety and tasted good. The service was also top-notch; when arriving and leaving the hotel, the staff were very proactive and enthusiastic in helping open and close car doors and carrying luggage. It offers great value for money and I highly recommend staying here.

Atmosphere: The lobby is grand and elegant, with luxurious and high-end decor. The views are absolutely stunning, and the public areas are clean and quiet. Hygiene: The entire room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust in the corners, no odors in the bathroom, and clean, soft bedding. Service: The staff were warm, polite, and responsive, offering thoughtful assistance without being intrusive. They made me feel right at home and were proactive in offering help. Room: The room was spacious, soundproofed excellent, with a comfortable mattress, quality amenities, and plenty of natural light. Dining: The breakfast selection was rich and varied, with fresh ingredients and delicious made-to-order options, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes.

This place offers incredible value for money, far surpassing most other accommodations in the area. The room was meticulously cleaned, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, so there was no dampness or strange odors. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The host was incredibly thoughtful, providing essential items like umbrellas and chargers for emergencies. The location is super convenient, and taking a taxi to various attractions is very affordable. The service was attentive and thorough. I've already recommended it to my friends!

The B&B is at the very edge of the village. Because it is newly built and not yet complete, there are no food or supermarkets around. We booked this hotel for a sea view room. It cost over 400 in the off-season, which was not cost-effective. The room had a nice sea view. We lived on the fourth floor. The elevator broke down on the night of check-in, so we had to take the stairs every time. The elevator was still not repaired when we left the hotel the next morning. When we went downstairs at 7 a.m., there was no one at the lobby counter. I called the boss, and someone came after 8 a.m. to deliver soup noodles for breakfast, saying it was a local specialty. The room only included breakfast for two people, and if there were more people, they had to pay an extra 20 yuan per person. It is particularly worth mentioning that there were no stools in the room, so we had to stand to eat. Later, I asked the boss to bring stools into the room. In order to save space, the hotel placed the washbasin next to the bed, which looked okay, but every time I washed my hands, the water made a loud noise, and it was right next to the bed, disturbing the rest of the person sleeping. If you just want to see the sea and don't care about other things, you can stay here. There is still a lot of room for improvement. I still hope that the hotel will become more and more perfect.
