"The hotel is very close to the terminal, and the airport shuttle service is very convenient, making it ideal for layovers, early morning flights, or late arrivals.
The hotel rooms are well-equipped, very quiet, and comfortable. They're also quite peaceful.
The staff at the airport information desk (not hotel staff) were a bit unreliable. They said the hotel always had a buffet available, but it turns out it closed at 9 PM. As a result, I had to order takeout."

"The front desk lady was friendly, attentive, and responsible—excellent! The room was great, well-equipped, and everything was new. The bedding was comfortable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I was very satisfied. You can park near the entrance, and just scan a QR code at the front desk when you leave. It's close to the Meilan Airport High-Speed Rail Station, and they offer free shuttle service, which only takes a few minutes. It's incredibly convenient and a highly recommended hotel. This trip was totally worth it!"

"The actual condition is almost the same as what u see from the pictures provided by the owner. There is traffic control in the area, and taxi can only stop one block away. Do expect a short, few minutes walk to get there. The room with balcony is located on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator in the building. The room has air conditioner, automatic toilet bowl, and hot water. But there is no mini refrigerator nor TV. Location is superb, and absolutely great value for money. Will stay again if I return to the city."

"Choosing Atour Hotel for this Haikou trip was definitely the right decision! I have to give it a big thumbs up. The location is absolutely unbeatable – it's right next to Wanghai Shopping Mall, DC Computer City, and Mingzhu Square, and just a ten-minute walk to Qilou Old Street. The hotel lobby is spacious and grand; you feel comfortable as soon as you step in. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and we were even more pleasantly surprised to find a smart delivery robot, which was quite cute. The room was impeccably clean and tidy, and the bed quality was excellent. The room attendant mentioned it was a Serta mattress, and it was exceptionally comfortable to sleep on. What really added value were the children's pillows and toothbrushes. The bathroom was very large, with a separate wet and dry area, and even a magnifying mirror for makeup – full of thoughtful details. Plus, the hotel has a laundry room and a fitness center, which is incredibly convenient for washing clothes and getting a quick workout during a long trip. Highly satisfied!"

"Small and clean hostel, with a popular photo taking spot just on the third floor of the same building. Just need to flash your room card to access the area. Very good location right at Qilou Old Street. Near to a few popular shops. Staff was friendly and allowed us to top up a little more payment to extend our stay til evening, as our flight was at night. So we could get some rest and wash up before heading to the airport."

"Great location, and the room's overall decor is nice. However, for a hotel at this price point, the towels and bathrobes are really showing their age – they're frayed and torn to bits! Surely they can invest in some replacements, even if they're trying to cut costs. And the bottled water provided? It completely clashes with the room's aesthetic. Lastly, let's not even talk about that hairdryer. If you can't spring for a Dyson, at least get a decent alternative like a Laifen. The current one is so poorly designed that if you're not careful, it'll suck your hair right in, and then you get that awful burning smell! When you're raising prices, shouldn't the amenities and service also be upgraded to match?"

"I rarely take the time to write a hotel review. Usually, the hotel for a business trip is chosen by the office, and the person traveling is just passively informed where to stay. So, before checking in, all I knew about this hotel was the city and its name; I hadn't looked into it much. Later, I discovered what made it stand out. Today, I'll briefly summarize a few distinct impressions:
1. Before arriving in the city, the hotel called to inquire about my arrival method and time. To my pleasant surprise, they sent a car to pick us up and take us to the hotel, which was a great solution for newcomers dealing with transportation issues.
2. The car that picked up the three of us that day was a Mercedes-Benz V260 commercial van.
3. The breakfast during our stay was very rich, and the distinctive seafood porridge was a delightful touch.
4. During our stay, the hotel delivered holiday gifts – Mid-Autumn Festival mooncakes 🥮 and Hainan refreshing herbal drink (Qingbuliang). This meticulous attention to detail was very heartwarming.
5. On the day of our departure, they even offered complimentary transfer to the station! 😀😀
This stay was truly perfect. The hotel genuinely made me feel comfortable, convenient, and valued. Every detail showed their thoughtfulness. The next time I visit this city, this will definitely be my top choice, and I will not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. 👍"

The perfectly scented aroma completely dispelled travel fatigue. The room was warmly decorated and clean, and the pillows were especially comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for someone prone to insomnia. The restaurant on the fourth floor served Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine, and I particularly enjoyed the Hainanese-style salted lemon tea, which was tart and sweet with a hint of salt. My stay at the Mu Nan Hotel has made me want to visit Hainan again. It's a shame I forgot to take photos, but I'll make up for it next time.

VVwo50qingwochimaidanglaoFor our last day in Haikou, we specifically chose this hotel with a lovely courtyard. It was very comfortable, featuring swings, rocking horses, and spinning chairs for the kids. It's also conveniently close to the airport, just about a ten-minute drive, which meant we didn't have to get up too early. Since we had a larger group and kids with us, the young lady at the front desk specially arranged a bigger room for us. The decor is a new Chinese minimalist style, predominantly white. The room was very spacious, and the 1.5-meter wide bed was perfectly comfortable for two adults and two children. The front desk also kindly provided two extra bottles of mineral water.
The hygiene was excellent; there were no unpleasant odors in the room. It featured large floor-to-ceiling windows, and opening them allowed a very pleasant breeze to flow through. The toilet was spotlessly clean, with no yellowish stains or foul smell. This place is truly great.

There are no dishes in the apartment except for four mugs. The main drawback is the location. It's good that there are taxis, but how to use them is a separate issue, unrelated to the hotel.

GGuest UserBecause we had to take the ferry, we found a place to stay near the ferry. When we booked it, we had the mentality of giving it a try. After we checked in, it was beyond our expectations. The sanitation was very clean, which was cleaner than the B&Bs we stayed in before. It was a loft design. I also liked this kind of small apartment. There was a cloakroom and everything you need. The most important thing is that it is truly pet-friendly! There is no charge. It is much better than some stores that say they are pet-friendly but are unwilling to accept dogs when you call to ask. I will continue to stay here next time I come to Hainan.

GGuest UserLocation: 3 walking minutes from the sea, fantastic view from the balcony. No big roads, very quite. Not many supermarkets, restaurants or shops in the neighbourhood, but there is the essential.
Apartment: very good, looking to the north so not hit by the sun, wonderful covered balcony, even with the typhoon one could sit there. Clean, good beds, functioning and quite air conditioning, kitchen with basic utilities.
Building: it is a mix of residential building and hotel. One can see that in the past it must have been a wonderful 5 stars hotel, now needs some renovations.
As usual English is a problem but the ladies at the reception are ready and well equipped to communicate using translation apps.
Service: I wanted high floor and booked 10th floor, they gave me 13th (thank you!) Right and left there were stairs, so no neighbours, also very quite (also because of the massive walls). Some neighbour in the hallway sometimes left the door open so I could hear his TV, but it didn't bothered me.
Conclusion: considering the price, it was a great stay.
