HOKUKOU KAMIMIYA
"The living experience is very good! Japanese-style decoration, environmentally friendly and comfortable. The interior decoration design is very charming, there is also a washing machine with dryer and a professional and easy-to-use kitchen. You can buy some semi-finished products in the nearby supermarket to cook. The boss and his wife are warm and attentive. According to the information they provided, we visited the local home furnishing store and bought a lot of good things at a good price. This store is suitable for staying for a few more days, and it really gives people a "home away from home" feeling! It is said that there is a natural hot spring nearby, and we heard that it is a Japanese bathing method, so we didn't dare to go."

"Good clean room, a little clinical. No warmth"
Tennen Onsen Renka no Yu Onyado Nono Kyoto Shichijo
"We are quite shocked when we stepped in to the hotel, very cosy and feel chill. It’s a beautiful and warm place to stay. We will come back again."
The Thousand Kyoto
"Excellent location right next to the Kyoto train station, central location and lots to do in the area. Highly recommend."
THE HOTEL HIGASHIYAMA KYOTO TOKYU, A Pan Pacific Hotel
"The hotel is near a touristy historic area. The hotel's location is not close to the train station, but they have an hourly hotel bus to the train station which takes about 20 minutes, depending on traffic. The hotel room is not very big but it's adequate. They don't have a proper door to the bathroom, the sink and counter are open to the main room but there is a thin sliding door. so the entrance corridor is also the bathroom sink and counter. I like that the toilet is in its own mini room, as is the shower. the toilet's light turns on automatically when you enter that mini room. There are some nice designs touches in the hotel, which added to our positive experience. Service is very good and helpful 👍. The hotel room has a lot of lights, but still it felt a bit dark in the room."
Urban Hotel Kyoto Shijo Premium
"It’s clean and modern look over all.. The only thing that need improvements are: wifi a bit slow and the sound insulation in the room isn’t great."
Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo
Spacious rooms and kid-friendly amenities, with convenient access to transport and local attractions.
Ala Hotel Kyoto
"Close to kyoto station and lots of nice restaurants. 7-11 just opposite the hotel. Nice onsen on 9th floor. Great facilities and very nice room."
Daiwa Roynet Hotel KYOTO-SHIJYOKARASUMA (Reopening on March 14, 2026)
"First impression of the hotel wasn’t that positive. the hotel was having some renovation done in the lobby during my stay. As you stepped in the lobby door, a gush of smoking smells. The smoking room door is an automated door, and it was basically open as people was standing near the sensor. Room was great, I had some view of the mountains, cleanliness was good. Conveniently steps away from Lawson. Walking distance to famous shopping streets Check in experience wasn’t very pleasant, I booked through trip.com stating 1 adults and 2 kids with their age. But was charged extra during check in for my 10 year old. Wasn’t the staff fault, the hotel should state clearly on the booking system."
Mercure Kyoto Station
"The place was just 10 minutes away from kyoto station with many eateries nearby"
Miyako City Kintetsu Kyoto Station
"Location of the Hotel is great . The hotel is right below the Keihan Railway. Room not so big but enough for two large luggage. My negative experience was the male front staff. We are not very clear about the new property tax.and need him to explained more but he just keep quite like we are a nasty customer. But lucky he colleague come over to solved the issue."
