Reviews: Amanohashidate Sandbar & Ine Funaya Village Tour with Optional Sea Cruise
Guest User2026-07-17
I wanted to visit Amanohashidate and Ine from Kyoto, but going on my own would be troublesome and I'd have to keep track of bus schedules, so I decided to book a day tour. Our guide was the beautiful Li Songlan, who seamlessly switched between Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin – she was incredibly skilled. She even cracked some corny jokes every now and then. Thanks to Lanlan for the thoughtful arrangements and recommendation. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable day trip.
Reviews: Kimono Rental Experience in Kyoto by Sakakujing
Guest User2026-05-23
The kimono rental service is located near the tourist spots. Friendly women quickly dressed me in a kimono and styled my hair. There's a wide selection of kimonos to suit every taste. We had a great time strolling around and taking photos in beautiful locations. I enjoyed trying on a kimono, but walking around in tabi for long periods is uncomfortable, so it's a good thing I brought sneakers.
Reviews: Kyoto Day Tour: Arashiyama + Kifune Shrine + Sanzen-in (Osaka/Kyoto Departure | Optional Hotel Pickup | Small Group with Sagano Romantic Train / Private Charter Available)

We were very lucky to have a great driver/guide (Master Wang) today. From the moment we boarded the bus to every attraction, he provided detailed explanations. He also sent us the location for each meeting point to make it easy to find us. He did his best to assist with all our requests. Thank you so much, and I hope to meet you again next time.
Reviews: Stroll through Arashiyama in Kyoto|Ride the sightseeing train & experience the Hozugawa River Boat Ride (Hozugawa Kudari) canyon rafting tour
Guest User2026-07-12
Thinking about visiting Arashiyama immediately brings to mind Tenryu-ji Temple, the Sagano Scenic Railway, and the Hozu River rafting. This was a simple one-day tour, with a guide providing pick-up and drop-off at each attraction, explaining everything in detail, and then we were free to explore on our own. I was very happy that there were no hard-sell sales pitches. Thank you to our guide, Zhao Wentai, who contacted us the day before departure and arranged for direct pick-up and drop-off from Osaka to Arashiyama, saving us a lot of travel time. He also clearly explained the pick-up and drop-off arrangements before and after each attraction, ensuring a smooth trip. The Hozu River rafting was unforgettable; I'll definitely be back in Arashiyama!
Reviews: Ninja Experience (Family Friendly) at Samurai Ninja Museum KYOTO
Guest User2024-08-30
It starts off with a simple explanation of the japanese history, the rise and end of the samurai, going from room to room with a number of exhibits. At the end of the session we experienced throwing the shuriken and a little competition, and dressing up like samurai. Our guide Misu was well versed and made it more interesting and flowing
