SSam_heWe stayed here as a group of 4 and had a really nice, easy stay. The room was spacious, cozy, and well set up — staying together felt comfortable and not cramped at all.
The housekeeper was very thoughtful. They added us on WeChat about two weeks before the trip, checked in with us, and shared local weather updates, which was really helpful. On check-in day, someone was there to welcome us and patiently walk us through how everything in the house worked.
What we loved most was how genuinely caring the host was. Every day, they shared local food recommendations (some of which we actually tried and enjoyed). They also checked if we wanted the room cleaned that day, and whenever it was cleaned, it felt fresh again — like coming back to a new room.
Overall, it felt more like staying at a home than just another place to sleep. We’d happily come back if we visit again 🫶🏻

My stay at the Regent Chongqing was easily one of the most satisfying hotel experiences I've had in years. From its location and room details to the dining services, every aspect far exceeded my expectations, truly embodying a blend of 'luxury' and 'warmth.'
Location and Views: Overlooking Hongyadong Across the River, Boasting Unbeatable River Views
The hotel is situated in the Jiangbeizui Central Business District, right next to the Jialing River, directly across from the Yuzhong Peninsula. My river-view room featured panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. The glittering lights of Hongyadong and the boats passing on the river created a dynamic tableau. Especially at 'The Riverview Bar' on the hotel's seventh floor, sipping a specialty cocktail and enjoying the evening breeze from the Jialing River while gazing at Hongyadong, you get the best vantage point without having to brave the crowds.
Room Experience: Impeccable Details, Blending Smart Technology with Human Touch
The rooms feature a new Chinese design, are spacious (even the basic room type is 57㎡), and are equipped with a smart toilet, electric curtains, a Dyson hairdryer, and a coffee machine. What pleasantly surprised me most was that the minibar was not only complimentary but also thoughtfully stocked with Chongqing's local snacks, soft drinks, and even beer and wine. The bathroom has a scenic bathtub, and the hotel offers various bath options like bubble bath, rose, or lemon. There's also complimentary laundry service daily, which is incredibly practical for guests on an extended stay. The room's soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.
Service: Truly the 'Pinnacle of Service'
From the proactive communication by the guest service center after booking, to the concierge's initiative in helping with luggage and parking, and the front desk's efficient check-in, the service was seamlessly connected throughout. Restaurant staff enthusiastically introduced local specialty snacks. The contactless delivery via the butler cabinet and the smart mini-program for online communication greatly enhanced convenience.
Dining Experience: Rich, Refined, and Showcasing Local Flavors
Breakfast was particularly outstanding, offering freshly squeezed juices, authentic Chongqing noodles, honey-glazed ham, a variety of homemade yogurts, and specialty dishes like shakshuka. The service was impeccable. The hotel's 'Yu Kitchen' for Sichuan cuisine and the night views from 'The Riverview Bar' are also well worth experiencing.
Additional Surprises: Beyond-Expectations Member Benefits and Departure Gift
Throughout our stay, we received generous perks, including a complimentary minibar, steam eye masks, and face masks. Upon departure, the hotel thoughtfully gifted us Chongqing noodles as a souvenir, bringing a perfect close to our mountain city journey.

GGuest UserThis time, I specifically chose a riverside hotel to make up for not being able to admire the night view from above last time. From Jiefangbei in the city center, I overlooked Chongqing's brightly lit skyline. Outside the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, the towering buildings, one after another, showcased a bustling scene no less impressive than the Bund.
Staying right by a subway station in the city center made getting around incredibly convenient. Located beneath the iconic Cloud Eye observation deck, I could enjoy a private hot spring and sauna right in my room, making the 'night quiet and complete.'
Thankfully, my first travel destination of 2026 was Chongqing. 'The night sky from above softens everything: thoughts are no longer sharp, desires no longer urgent, and a gentle layer is added between people and the world.'

My accommodation experience for this trip was absolutely fantastic, so I definitely have to give this hotel a five-star review! The location is a huge plus – it's just a few minutes' walk to the commercial area and all the sights. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. When it was raining outside, the hotel even had umbrellas available for guests to borrow, which was a really nice touch. Overall, everything was excellent.

The private hot spring in the room is clean and hygienic, and Owen provided very attentive service. My stay was excellent. I'll definitely come back again! The private hot spring in the room truly exceeded my expectations; the water was refreshed daily, making it very clean and private. The only area for improvement would be to address the traffic congestion for vehicles entering and exiting during peak hours.

There's a foot massage place on the 6th floor, perfect for relaxing after a long day. When I checked in, Xiao Zhou gave me a drink voucher for the rooftop, saying I could go up, enjoy a drink, sit down, and experience the revolving restaurant with its views of the city below.

It's located right above Hongyadong, and for a tourist attraction hotel, the hygiene, environment, and facilities offer good value for money. The hotel boasts convenient transportation, perfectly avoiding the traffic restrictions of the bustling downtown area. It's located in the heart of the central business district, within walking distance of the subway station, and right next to Wanda Plaza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The lobby, with its red and black color scheme and artistic decor, is grand and picturesque. The guest rooms are spacious with high ceilings. You can often snag a large room for just over 400 RMB, and during peak season, they frequently have surprising packages, with consecutive stays even including dining vouchers and experience benefits. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent soundproofing. The double vanity design was super practical, and the bedding was so soft it made you want to just stay in bed. The facilities are comprehensive, with a heated swimming pool at a comfortable temperature and a well-equipped gym. The free parking also alleviated any travel concerns. The biggest surprise was the dining; the 99 RMB Chinese buffet offered dozens of dishes like spicy rabbit and crispy shrimp. The seafood was fresh, and the desserts were outstanding, completely exceeding expectations. The location is superb, with the subway entrance practically at your doorstep, making it easy to get to attractions and shopping areas. The service is warm but not intrusive. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!
