This was my first time in Chongqing, and I wanted to make sure I had good food, good drinks, and convenient transportation. This hotel was perfect! Getting around by taxi was super easy, and the subway was also an option, though I preferred taxis. Just down the street from the hotel, there's a whole row of delicious Chongqing hot pot restaurants and tasty baozi. Behind the hotel, you'll find another street packed with local Chongqing specialty snacks, all of which were excellent. The hotel also offers breakfast, making it a top choice for travelers!

Absolutely five-star! I booked this hotel after seeing a recommendation from a Chongqing hotel experience blogger on Xiaohongshu, who said it was great.
And it really lives up to the hype:
1. The hotel is new, clean, tidy, and soundproofed well.
2. The service is excellent. Housekeeping is very prompt, and the robot delivery for takeout is super convenient. There's extra water available in the elevator lobby daily, and free ice cream at the front desk. Overall, a fantastic experience.
3. The environment is lovely. It's away from the hustle and bustle of tourist attractions, so it's quiet and relaxing. Strolling around at night enjoying the views is very pleasant.
4. The location is perfect. It's close to IFS Guojin and another large riverside mall. Plus, taking a taxi to any attraction is cheap, usually around ten-something yuan.
5. Being on a high floor, the panoramic view from the room is amazing.
6. And the best part is the breakfast!!! I won't even mention the stunning view from the top floor. My absolute favorites are their Chongqing noodles and wontons – they seriously beat anything I've had at outside restaurants. I had two bowls of each every single day, feeling like a true VIP.
It's rare for me to write so much, but seriously, everyone visiting Chongqing should consider this place!

Guest UserEasy to find and very close to Hongyadong. The room environment is great, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the best part is having a washing machine and dryer, which is super convenient. The front desk is on the 25th floor, offering river views at any time, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If I come back again, I'll definitely choose Espace again.

Dr. OscarLongmen Pu Village: A Serene Escape into Chongqing's Mountain Charm
As an avid traveler, I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Longmen Pu Village, a remarkable resort nestled in the heart of Chongqing's stunning mountain landscape. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the seamless blend of modern comforts and the region's rich, traditional charm.
The resort's accommodations are a true delight – beautifully designed rooms that effortlessly combine sleek, contemporary aesthetics with the warmth and character of the local countryside. The attention to detail is truly impressive, creating a sense of tranquility and authenticity that is all too rare in today's hospitality landscape.
One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting.
The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me.
The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever.
Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure.
While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort.
In conclusion, Longmen Pu Village is a true gem, a resort that has masterfully preserved the local charm and flavor of Chongqing's stunning mountain region. Whether you're seeking a serene retreat or an immersive cultural experience, this resort delivers an unforgettable journey that I wholeheartedly recommend.

RexPanpanThis is my second visit to Chongqing, and I chose the InterContinental Raffles City again, mainly because I craved this view. My room was on the 50th floor, and as soon as the automatic blinds opened, the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers converged beneath my feet, with Hongyadong and Qiansimen Bridge framed perfectly! This image will stay with me for a long time! I also recommend a dip in the heated infinity pool on the 43rd floor, which overlooks the Yangtze River; swimming with the skyline view truly feels like floating. **Location & View:** Raffles City Tower 4N, with that 'cloud-top' feeling from floors 44-65. The Sky Lobby on the 42nd floor is a tourist attraction in itself, with greenery and a curved front desk mirroring the river, and the skybridge offers 360° views of the mountain city. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the river-view rooms directly face the confluence of the two rivers. You can watch boats during the day, and at night, see Hongyadong lit up and the traffic flowing across Qiansimen Bridge. Taking a bath in the tub facing the window makes this Chongqing trip half worth it already. **Service:** This needs a separate mention. Two afternoons before check-in, I received a call from the concierge department, asking about my check-in requirements and details. They asked if I was driving and if I needed a video of the underground parking route (they actually sent a super detailed one later!). If you're traveling with children, they even proactively asked if we needed kids' slippers and toiletries. The Executive Lounge's Happy Hour offers enough to eat, and the Chongqing noodles at breakfast are freshly made to order. Downstairs, you have Chaotianmen Metro Station and Hongyadong within walking distance, which is very convenient for those who prefer not to walk far. This is a landmark hotel in Chongqing, definitely worth it for both the view and the service. I highly recommend Shua Bar! Their seasonal cocktails are super delicious and unique! And, to top it off, they even gave me a small souvenir gift when I checked out! I plan to stay at InterContinental again on my next trip to Chongqing.

🏮Located inside a renovated church down a long winding stair alley, this hotel was the definition of a hidden gem. If you didn’t know it existed, you definitely wouldn’t know it was there. The rooms were extremely spacious, with high ceilings, beautifully considered decor, and refined aesthetics. I’d say the rooms were way better than the pictures. ⛪️✨
📸 The hotel offers a free travel photography service. You can have your hair/makeup/outfit done professionally for an additional charge but we wore our own stuff. Zihao (子豪) came to take photos of us on our second day and they turned out absolutely stunning!! The entire process took about an hour and he was incredibly professional, kind, and funny; and took the time to work with us through the language barrier using a translator app on his phone. You get a certain number of free photos, but we ended up buying almost the entire photo set with minimal editing from him because they turned out so good. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. I will treasure the photos he took of my mom forever.
🍴 Breakfast is included and there’s a full service bar for guests where you can get free soft drinks and freshly cut fruit throughout the day. The hotel will also deliver a soup to your room in the evening (called night service? I think?) and it was really delicious. I have no photos of that because we ate it too fast. 😋
🧳 📝 The entrance of the hotel is a bit of a far- the nearest car drop-off point is Lingshi Alley No.8, Yuzhong Chongqing, and from there, you have to walk 3-4 flights of stairs down an alley to get to the entrance of the church. The hotel will message you ahead to help you with your luggage (and they’re extremely nice! Two of the staff helped us get our suitcases to our car at 5am when we had to leave very early 😵💫) but if you have any accessibility needs or difficulties walking up and down stairs, or just have a ton of luggage, this might not be the hotel for you 🚙😥
🌸 Overall, stunning hotel & amazing staff who you can message anytime on WeChat if you need anything. It feels like quiet escape in the middle of a super bustling crazy city. I would come back 100% if I was in Chongqing again. Thank you for everything!

Guest UserWhen traveling with seniors and children, we usually opt for well-known hotel chains. Atour's breakfast and late-night congee service are perfect for us, as we don't eat much spicy food. After a tiring day, a warm bowl of congee is just what we need. The breakfast buffet is relatively fresh and abundant; my little one even said, 'Mom, let's eat lunch here too!' The dining area is great for reading and even has swings, which kids love to play on.
Initially, I was torn between two Atour hotels, but I ultimately chose this Raffles City location. Firstly, it's incredibly convenient for getting around, with a Line 1 subway entrance right next door, making dining, shopping, and exploring very easy. Secondly, there have been fewer negative reviews recently, indicating improvements.
There are only two elevators, so during peak hours, there's a bit of a wait, but it's acceptable. The card-access system for specific floors adds a good sense of security.
A small suggestion: The tissue boxes in the room are quite inconvenient to pull tissues from. While the floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views, they could pose a safety hazard as children tend to lean against them to look outside, so adults need to be extra vigilant.

For my trip to Chongqing, I chose the Moxy Jiefangbei, and it was incredibly convenient for getting around. The overall style is quite trendy with a great vibe. Although the room wasn't huge, it was well-equipped and very clean. Yuliya at the front desk provided attentive and thoughtful service, and the room type she arranged was exactly what I wanted.

Dabuer⚡️The location is fantastic, making getting around super easy. Ziwei Road is right across the street, so grabbing a Heytea is incredibly convenient! In the evening, after a drink or two, it's just a two-minute walk back to the hotel. The room was clean, the bedding was soft and comfy against the skin, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly all night. The breakfast selection was quite diverse and totally exceeded my expectations; it felt like incredible value for money. Besides the usual Chinese and Western options, I highly recommend the freshly made noodles – they were delicious, and you can customize the spice level yourself. Overall, the experience was great. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Chongqing!
