This was my first time in Chongqing, and I wanted to make sure I had good food, good drinks, and convenient transportation. This hotel was perfect! Getting around by taxi was super easy, and the subway was also an option, though I preferred taxis. Just down the street from the hotel, there's a whole row of delicious Chongqing hot pot restaurants and tasty baozi. Behind the hotel, you'll find another street packed with local Chongqing specialty snacks, all of which were excellent. The hotel also offers breakfast, making it a top choice for travelers!

Absolutely five-star! I booked this hotel after seeing a recommendation from a Chongqing hotel experience blogger on Xiaohongshu, who said it was great.
And it really lives up to the hype:
1. The hotel is new, clean, tidy, and soundproofed well.
2. The service is excellent. Housekeeping is very prompt, and the robot delivery for takeout is super convenient. There's extra water available in the elevator lobby daily, and free ice cream at the front desk. Overall, a fantastic experience.
3. The environment is lovely. It's away from the hustle and bustle of tourist attractions, so it's quiet and relaxing. Strolling around at night enjoying the views is very pleasant.
4. The location is perfect. It's close to IFS Guojin and another large riverside mall. Plus, taking a taxi to any attraction is cheap, usually around ten-something yuan.
5. Being on a high floor, the panoramic view from the room is amazing.
6. And the best part is the breakfast!!! I won't even mention the stunning view from the top floor. My absolute favorites are their Chongqing noodles and wontons – they seriously beat anything I've had at outside restaurants. I had two bowls of each every single day, feeling like a true VIP.
It's rare for me to write so much, but seriously, everyone visiting Chongqing should consider this place!

Guest UserEasy to find and very close to Hongyadong. The room environment is great, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the best part is having a washing machine and dryer, which is super convenient. The front desk is on the 25th floor, offering river views at any time, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If I come back again, I'll definitely choose Espace again.

Dr. OscarLongmen Pu Village: A Serene Escape into Chongqing's Mountain Charm
As an avid traveler, I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Longmen Pu Village, a remarkable resort nestled in the heart of Chongqing's stunning mountain landscape. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the seamless blend of modern comforts and the region's rich, traditional charm.
The resort's accommodations are a true delight – beautifully designed rooms that effortlessly combine sleek, contemporary aesthetics with the warmth and character of the local countryside. The attention to detail is truly impressive, creating a sense of tranquility and authenticity that is all too rare in today's hospitality landscape.
One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting.
The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me.
The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever.
Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure.
While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort.
In conclusion, Longmen Pu Village is a true gem, a resort that has masterfully preserved the local charm and flavor of Chongqing's stunning mountain region. Whether you're seeking a serene retreat or an immersive cultural experience, this resort delivers an unforgettable journey that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Guest UserThe hotel is pretty good. The front desk is on the 21st floor. They offer free ice cream and popcorn daily, and free sweet soup from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The hygiene and environment are quite good, and the service is decent. You can reach Hongyadong by turning right on the first floor of the hotel, and Jiefangbei by exiting on the 22nd floor. The location is incredibly convenient. I extended my stay for another day and will definitely come back next time.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right downstairs from Chaotianmen Square and Raffles City. The front desk staff were very patient and thorough. Our room on the 60th floor offered beautiful river and city views. After 5 PM, you can visit the bar on the 42nd floor for free, and there's a glass platform with amazing scenery. I'll definitely stay at the InterContinental again next time I'm in Chongqing.

🏮Located inside a renovated church down a long winding stair alley, this hotel was the definition of a hidden gem. If you didn’t know it existed, you definitely wouldn’t know it was there. The rooms were extremely spacious, with high ceilings, beautifully considered decor, and refined aesthetics. I’d say the rooms were way better than the pictures. ⛪️✨
📸 The hotel offers a free travel photography service. You can have your hair/makeup/outfit done professionally for an additional charge but we wore our own stuff. Zihao (子豪) came to take photos of us on our second day and they turned out absolutely stunning!! The entire process took about an hour and he was incredibly professional, kind, and funny; and took the time to work with us through the language barrier using a translator app on his phone. You get a certain number of free photos, but we ended up buying almost the entire photo set with minimal editing from him because they turned out so good. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. I will treasure the photos he took of my mom forever.
🍴 Breakfast is included and there’s a full service bar for guests where you can get free soft drinks and freshly cut fruit throughout the day. The hotel will also deliver a soup to your room in the evening (called night service? I think?) and it was really delicious. I have no photos of that because we ate it too fast. 😋
🧳 📝 The entrance of the hotel is a bit of a far- the nearest car drop-off point is Lingshi Alley No.8, Yuzhong Chongqing, and from there, you have to walk 3-4 flights of stairs down an alley to get to the entrance of the church. The hotel will message you ahead to help you with your luggage (and they’re extremely nice! Two of the staff helped us get our suitcases to our car at 5am when we had to leave very early 😵💫) but if you have any accessibility needs or difficulties walking up and down stairs, or just have a ton of luggage, this might not be the hotel for you 🚙😥
🌸 Overall, stunning hotel & amazing staff who you can message anytime on WeChat if you need anything. It feels like quiet escape in the middle of a super bustling crazy city. I would come back 100% if I was in Chongqing again. Thank you for everything!

Guest UserLocation: As shown in Picture 1, it's just 100m from the Jiefangbei landmark. You can see it right from the window.
Room decor: Punk-style minimalist decor. The cleanliness was excellent; the pillows, sheets, and duvet covers were all clean, with no yellowing or wear and tear.
Housekeeping: Because we were out sightseeing, I thought hanging the tag meant immediate cleaning. When we returned, we found no one had come. After calling the front desk, they immediately sent a lovely lady to clean. She was very enthusiastic and efficient, always serving with a smile. You can tell from an employee's work ethic that this is a customer-oriented hotel where everyone is comfortable.
Breakfast: Lots of variety, you can pick what you like. However, I think the 'xiaomian' (noodles) are the best choice; you can't go wrong with them.
This is the best choice I've stayed at under 500 yuan.

LaoshuimuqubaCleanliness: The room was spotless and appeared newly renovated, with no unpleasant odors.
Breakfast: The breakfast spread was excellent. For the price, this room offers incredible value for money – my friend's recommendation was spot on!
Soundproofing: The soundproofing was great; I had a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep.
Air Conditioning: The AC was super powerful, which is a huge plus for someone who frequently travels to Chongqing for business, especially with how incredibly hot it's been this year.
Surroundings: There's a lively bar street right downstairs, perfect for a drink after dinner to soak in the atmosphere. It's also very close to Jiujie.
