Hotels with Bars in Chongqing

This was my first time in Chongqing, and I wanted to make sure I had good food, good drinks, and convenient transportation. This hotel was perfect! Getting around by taxi was super easy, and the subway was also an option, though I preferred taxis. Just down the street from the hotel, there's a whole row of delicious Chongqing hot pot restaurants and tasty baozi. Behind the hotel, you'll find another street packed with local Chongqing specialty snacks, all of which were excellent. The hotel also offers breakfast, making it a top choice for travelers!

Absolutely five-star! I booked this hotel after seeing a recommendation from a Chongqing hotel experience blogger on Xiaohongshu, who said it was great. And it really lives up to the hype: 1. The hotel is new, clean, tidy, and soundproofed well. 2. The service is excellent. Housekeeping is very prompt, and the robot delivery for takeout is super convenient. There's extra water available in the elevator lobby daily, and free ice cream at the front desk. Overall, a fantastic experience. 3. The environment is lovely. It's away from the hustle and bustle of tourist attractions, so it's quiet and relaxing. Strolling around at night enjoying the views is very pleasant. 4. The location is perfect. It's close to IFS Guojin and another large riverside mall. Plus, taking a taxi to any attraction is cheap, usually around ten-something yuan. 5. Being on a high floor, the panoramic view from the room is amazing. 6. And the best part is the breakfast!!! I won't even mention the stunning view from the top floor. My absolute favorites are their Chongqing noodles and wontons – they seriously beat anything I've had at outside restaurants. I had two bowls of each every single day, feeling like a true VIP. It's rare for me to write so much, but seriously, everyone visiting Chongqing should consider this place!

Great location, dinner was good, but let down by malfunctioning hot water in the shower in 2 or the 3 rooms we booked.  We had only ice cold water from the shower. Thankfully it was rectified. In one of our rooms (2005) the shower stall glass sliding door had come off the rails, and could East have fallen on guests, causing serious injury from the weight of the door and broken glass. The check-in staff was very helpful, but the staff at breakfast on 6 Jan was quite unhelpful, and in fact started to argue about the prior breakfast arrangement our tour guide made with the hotel the previous day. Rather than saying she didn’t know and would check, she unilaterally decided the options were wanted (and had prepared the hotel for through our guide’s arrangements the previous day) were not available.

The environment is clean, tidy and beautiful, with a view at every step. It is a very distinctive homestay that is carefully built. The housekeeper has a good service attitude. He contacted me in advance before I checked in, and all the requests were met wholeheartedly. It was a great stay experience. Each room type has its own characteristics. I will try another room type if I have the chance.

My stay here far exceeded my expectations! 🏨 First, I have to praise the location – the hotel is just steps away from Kuixing Tower. It was incredibly convenient to walk back after exploring the night views, no need to bother with finding a ride. The lobby design is very thoughtful. I was surprised to find it's actually a hidden observation deck! Sitting there with a coffee during the day, you get a panoramic view of the city outside the window; every photo taken there turns out great 📸. The room itself was very comfortable, spacious, clean, and cozy. The bedding was super comfortable for sleeping, and the soundproofing was good too. The biggest surprise was the free daily dessert soup! After a tiring day of sightseeing, coming back to the hotel for a bowl of refreshing mung bean soup or white fungus soup instantly revitalized me. These thoughtful little details really add to the experience. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A landmark building in Chongqing, located at the confluence of the two rivers, designed by the same architect as the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Indeed, the internal greenery and external structure give you the illusion of being in Singapore. The service is also up to InterContinental's expected standards. Before check-in, Xiao Luo, Xiao Su, and Xiao Wang from guest relations department communicated and confirmed our needs. Knowing it was our wedding anniversary, they offered room decoration and an upgraded room type, and even provided complimentary breakfast for our child. I particularly enjoyed the hummus with pita bread at the breakfast restaurant…

🏮Located inside a renovated church down a long winding stair alley, this hotel was the definition of a hidden gem. If you didn’t know it existed, you definitely wouldn’t know it was there. The rooms were extremely spacious, with high ceilings, beautifully considered decor, and refined aesthetics. I’d say the rooms were way better than the pictures. ⛪️✨ 📸 The hotel offers a free travel photography service. You can have your hair/makeup/outfit done professionally for an additional charge but we wore our own stuff. Zihao (子豪) came to take photos of us on our second day and they turned out absolutely stunning!! The entire process took about an hour and he was incredibly professional, kind, and funny; and took the time to work with us through the language barrier using a translator app on his phone. You get a certain number of free photos, but we ended up buying almost the entire photo set with minimal editing from him because they turned out so good. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. I will treasure the photos he took of my mom forever. 🍴 Breakfast is included and there’s a full service bar for guests where you can get free soft drinks and freshly cut fruit throughout the day. The hotel will also deliver a soup to your room in the evening (called night service? I think?) and it was really delicious. I have no photos of that because we ate it too fast. 😋 🧳 📝 The entrance of the hotel is a bit of a far- the nearest car drop-off point is Lingshi Alley No.8, Yuzhong Chongqing, and from there, you have to walk 3-4 flights of stairs down an alley to get to the entrance of the church. The hotel will message you ahead to help you with your luggage (and they’re extremely nice! Two of the staff helped us get our suitcases to our car at 5am when we had to leave very early 😵💫) but if you have any accessibility needs or difficulties walking up and down stairs, or just have a ton of luggage, this might not be the hotel for you 🚙😥 🌸 Overall, stunning hotel & amazing staff who you can message anytime on WeChat if you need anything. It feels like quiet escape in the middle of a super bustling crazy city. I would come back 100% if I was in Chongqing again. Thank you for everything!

My stay here was absolutely stress-free! The day before I arrived, Alisa proactively added me on WeChat. She was incredibly enthusiastic, thorough, and attentive, sending me information on dining and attractions. These weren't tourist traps, but places locals frequent, and the ones I tried were quite reliable. She arranged a fantastic room for me – it was quiet, well-insulated, and got plenty of sunlight. The hygiene was excellent, everything was clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Since it was hot, they even provided six bottles of mineral water in the room, making it the most generous hotel with water I've ever stayed at. While it doesn't cost much, it really showed their sincerity. Staff responses were instant, and the robot delivery for room service was super fast. This is the closest hotel to Jiefangbei, with great views. The parking lot downstairs made transportation convenient, unlike some neighboring hotels surrounded by chaotic, smelly small shops. I originally only booked two nights, but I was so comfortable that I extended for two more days. Alisa even helped me keep my original room so I didn't have to move my luggage. She was always there for me, responding instantly to any request. This definitely deserves five stars, and I'll be back! Very satisfied with the service!

The front desk staff, Ariana, provided excellent service. The hotel is conveniently located with food, shopping, and landmarks right downstairs, making sightseeing effortless. The overall decor is industrial chic, with cool-toned walls and contrasting soft furnishings, giving it a sophisticated yet vibrant feel. The room has great natural light, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive views. Wall-mounted storage keeps the space clutter-free, and the toiletries are comprehensive. Highly recommended for young travelers.

The location is fantastic, making getting around super easy. Ziwei Road is right across the street, so grabbing a Heytea is incredibly convenient! In the evening, after a drink or two, it's just a two-minute walk back to the hotel. The room was clean, the bedding was soft and comfy against the skin, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly all night. The breakfast selection was quite diverse and totally exceeded my expectations; it felt like incredible value for money. Besides the usual Chinese and Western options, I highly recommend the freshly made noodles – they were delicious, and you can customize the spice level yourself. Overall, the experience was great. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Chongqing!
