This private hot spring is quite close to the city center. I booked the 'Zuiyue' room type, which includes three suites, a mahjong room, a public restroom, one large hot spring pool, and one small hot spring pool. The water is drained and refilled for each new guest. It also comes with complimentary tickets to the RONGHUI public hot spring area, making it perfect for families with young children on weekends, especially those who love playing in the water. It's a great spot for family fun. The environment is lovely, and the staff are incredibly enthusiastic. A special thanks for the Christmas decorations!

DaiwazhubianzhongguoI never expected to find such a warm and inviting hotel hidden away in Ciqikou Ancient Town.
Traveling with kids, finding the right room type is always a headache, but the family room we booked this time was perfect – the beds were big enough, the space was generous, and my child didn't want to get out of the bathtub. Even better, you can take a taxi directly to the main entrance, and there's an underground parking lot too. It's so convenient, it hardly feels like you're in an ancient town.
In the center of the courtyard is a pavilion, surrounded by small stools. When the fire was lit, a singer played guitar in the pavilion. I sat by the fire with a craft beer in hand, feeling the warmth on my face, and my mind just emptied – I wasn't thinking about anything, just the crackling of the firewood. In that moment, it felt like I was sitting in an old courtyard deep in the mountains, where time slowed down enough to hear my own heartbeat. Xiao Qing and Xiao Tuo at the front desk were also very attentive, reminding us about the fire and singing in the evening when we checked in.
The hotel is called 'Yueyin Chongqing Courtyard', and it's such a fitting name. It truly feels like a hidden courtyard in the city, full of life and human touch.
Next time I come to Chongqing, I'll probably detour here just for this fire again.

Anonymous UserAs a frequent guest at your hotel, every time I step into the lobby, what I look forward to most is seeing the familiar and warm smile of Kathy at the front desk. She's practically an old friend now – I don't even need to say much; she always remembers my preference for a quiet, high-floor room and has my key card ready in advance. The check-in process is always efficient and smooth, and she'll greet me like an old friend, asking things like, ”How many days are you staying in Chongqing this time?” or ”Did you try that restaurant I recommended last time?” That perfect level of familiarity makes me feel at ease.
Kathy's thoughtfulness is also hidden in the details: she notices my flight schedule and proactively offers a late check-out. If she sees I have sports gear, she thoughtfully lets me know when the gym is least crowded. This feeling of 'being remembered' adds a touch of warmth to what could otherwise be a cold business trip. She never slacks off just because I'm a regular; instead, she shows even more meticulous care, turning every encounter into a warm 'reunion.' Thank you, Kathy – this is precisely why I always choose to stay here. It's because of people like her that you want to keep coming back.

silluileungOverall, the experience was fantastic. Chongqing's reputation for excellent service is well-deserved. The concierge desk design is outstanding. Lisa reached out a day in advance to ask about my itinerary and noted everything carefully. The hotel was very generous with complimentary items. At checkout, a bellhop helped me and, after learning I collect key cards, proactively got me a limited edition new one and brought it to me during my afternoon tea. It was a pleasant surprise! I'll definitely choose Regent Chongqing again next time I'm in the city.

Shanzei9527This hotel was for our last night in Chongqing. We wanted a place with a good view and decent service, so we avoided the Chaotianmen area. Instead, we chose a hotel on the outskirts of Jiangbei. One reason was that I wasn't comfortable driving further into the city, as we were on a self-drive trip. Also, the value for money here was relatively better. I ended up booking this InterContinental-brand hotel, which is quite high-end, instead of the other InterContinental. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the service, even though some minor details weren't perfect. For example, when I opened a drawer, the cup inside was clearly not cleaned well, with visible traces from previous use. However, the guest services staff were very apologetic about it and even offered us a small gift. So, I believe no hotel is perfect, but it's about how they promptly handle issues once they're discovered, and that's part of good service. Oh, and the hotel's lobby is fantastic for photos if you want to capture panoramic views of Chongqing. Also, everything in their mini-bar is complimentary except for a bottle of XO brandy. The mini-bar was also very well-stocked.

CherrylinlinmaThis hotel is conveniently located near Guanyin Bridge, making transportation a breeze. While it's not the newest hotel, the room facilities are still quite good. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The staff are all incredibly warm and attentive, especially Jackie and Bella, who really made us feel right at home.

Guest UserThe room was quite spacious, with a low table by the window and a bay window, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. It was very comfortable. The bedding was also very comfortable, with soft duvets, though I did spend quite a while trying to figure out the bedside lamp, haha. The bathroom and toilet were in separate spaces, with the sink outside, all three being independent, which was incredibly convenient and a huge plus! Many other hotels don't offer such a thoughtful layout. The reception isn't on the same floor as the guest rooms, and there's a dedicated lounge area where you can work, read, or watch shows. The room's soundproofing was good; I didn't even hear the heavy rainstorm outside last night. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and even gave us two bottles of water for our journey when we checked out, which was a very thoughtful touch. You can also store your luggage at the front desk. The hotel is situated in a tranquil area surrounded by schools, museums, and memorials, making for a beautiful environment. It's accessible from two subway stations, and there's a police car on duty right downstairs, as well as security guards, so it feels very safe. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Chongqing, especially with many historical 'red' attractions nearby, perfect for a leisurely stroll.

Pros: The breathtaking views of Jinyun Mountain and the Jialing River are truly exceptional from this location. The hot spring facilities are also impressive, with a good variety of pools and a cleverly designed, intricate layout.
Cons: The hotel's hardware facilities are quite outdated. For this price point, the hotel could definitely learn from the operational standards of top-tier brands. Furthermore, the breakfast selection is limited, and the toiletries in the room are of poor quality – these are areas with significant room for improvement. Large sections of wooden panels in the public areas are discolored or in disrepair.
Overall: If you're looking for value for money, you might want to reconsider. However, if budget isn't an issue and you prioritize experiencing the beautiful scenery and hot springs, it's definitely worth a visit. Finally, the complimentary travel photoshoot provided by the hotel was a nice touch, and I'd like to commend the photographer, Zixuan, for her excellent service.

The rooms are spacious and bright, and their signature Heavenly Bed provides an amazing sleep experience – just the right balance of softness and firmness, melting away all the travel fatigue overnight. The soundproofing in the room is excellent, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a broad view. The overall design is simple yet grand. The service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the gym and pool facilities are top-notch. It's a very reliable choice, whether you're on a business trip or a leisure vacation.
