Guest UserThis time in Chongqing, I chose Sushan 1946, and my stay experience exceeded expectations. After booking, the butler proactively sent over directions and travel suggestions. Chongqing has a lot of ups and downs, so getting this information in advance saved a lot of hassle.
The hotel is nestled in an old Republican-era house halfway up the mountain, very close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, making it super convenient for getting around. Yet, the courtyard itself is incredibly quiet – a true oasis of calm amidst the bustling city. Upon arrival, I was greeted with fruit, afternoon tea, and a sweet soup before bed; the attention to detail was truly thoughtful.
Breakfast offered both Chongqing noodles and Western dishes, and everything tasted great. It was perfect for sleeping in and then enjoying a leisurely meal. The courtyard and terrace have fantastic views; it was incredibly relaxing to just sit there, enjoy the breeze, and take in the river scenery.
The staff were very professional; they weren't intrusive, but responded quickly whenever I needed anything. Whether you're on a short trip and want to experience the old city charm of Chongqing, I highly recommend this place.

BoboboYFacilities: The hotel facilities are excellent, and the rooms are well-equipped, primarily focusing on hot springs. The water quality is very good, and you can adjust the hot spring temperature yourself. You can soak 24 hours a day, and privacy is also good. After soaking, you can also enjoy a massage or spa.
Hygiene: Everything was very clean. The villa renovation was well done.
Environment: The overall hotel environment is great, with duplex rooms. The surrounding area has complete amenities and is a small commercial district, so delivery services are very convenient. The only slight drawback is the soundproofing; you can hear people moving up and down the stairs next door.
Service: The service is excellent; they are very responsive and always help guests with any issues. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Kao. anThe environment is beautiful, comfortable, and pleasant, and the price is reasonable. The mini-bar drinks and snacks are complimentary. It's a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. Upon check-in, we received complimentary snacks and drinks. The breakfast area is lovely, and there's a wide variety of options. The only downside is that breakfast starts at 7:30 AM, which is too late for us to catch our bus to the airport. I hope they can adjust the breakfast time; most hotels start at 6:30 AM. I also wish they offered sweet soy milk for breakfast. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and the staff deserve commendation! 👍

sandy_qiqiWhenever I go to Chongqing, I always visit Guanghuan Plaza, which reminded me of this hotel nearby. After checking in, all I can say is that I got a five-star hotel experience for less than 800 yuan. First, let's talk about the room layout: two 1.35-meter single beds can be combined to form a massive 2.7-meter double bed. This is perfect if you're staying with kids – plenty of space. The room also has a bathtub, and crucially, it came with disposable bathtub liners (I forget the exact term!). Plus, the children's amenities provided were really good quality, not just an afterthought. What's even more impressive is that they placed dental floss right on the vanity – all the little touches were delightful. The product manager truly deserves commendation. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing.
Oh, and the breakfast buffet was excellent too, with a wide variety of delicious food. What really blew me away was finding steamed red dates at a buffet for the first time – that's a treat I usually only get at home!

kissyouyangStaying at the Regent Chongqing this time, I truly understood the real charm of a luxury hotel. It's never about opulent decor, but rather the perfectly thoughtful details hidden in every aspect. My entire experience was flawless, absolutely nothing to complain about.
From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, my impression was instantly elevated. The elegant New Chinese design exuded quality, and the soft lighting coupled with the tranquil atmosphere immediately melted away my travel fatigue. The staff's service was gentle and appropriate; they proactively offered to help with luggage, and check-in was efficient and meticulous. They patiently explained room amenities and hotel services throughout, striking a perfect balance without being overly enthusiastic or making me feel awkward. Every service interaction felt comfortable and heartwarming.
What truly amazed me was the hotel's meticulous attention to detail, genuinely anticipating every need. The room cleanliness was impeccable, with sanitation details maximized, and the toiletries in the wash area were neatly organized. The mini-bar was replenished daily for free, and all sorts of small daily necessities were thoughtfully considered, showcasing refined and attentive luxury service.
If the room details made me feel so pampered, then the Two Rivers Bar on the hotel's seventh floor was the ultimate surprise – the pinnacle of Chongqing's night view. The 270° open-air river view terrace offered an exceptionally expansive vista, directly facing the stunning confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers. The panoramic lights of Hongyadong and Qiansimen Bridge were all within sight.
As night fell, the mountain city lit up, with brilliant lights spread across the riverbanks. A gentle breeze from the river, accompanied by lazy live jazz music, created an incredible ambiance. Sipping a special cocktail here, quietly overlooking the entire mountain city nightscape – the sparkling lights and magnificent river view – allowed me to immerse myself in Chongqing's tenderness and prosperity. The interweaving of the evening breeze, lights, and river view was utterly romantic, making every casual photo a masterpiece needing no filter.
The breakfast experience was equally outstanding, with a rich and comprehensive selection. It not only included exquisite Chinese and Western dishes but also local specialties like Chongqing noodles and oil tea. From a window seat, I could enjoy breakfast while admiring the river view, which was truly delightful.
Throughout my stay, the Regent Chongqing demonstrated the standard of a luxury hotel in the mountain city with its exquisite details, thoughtful service, and unparalleled night view. It was more than just an accommodation; it was a healing and romantic immersive experience. If you're traveling to Chongqing, choosing this place will definitely not disappoint!

Pros: The breathtaking views of Jinyun Mountain and the Jialing River are truly exceptional from this location. The hot spring facilities are also impressive, with a good variety of pools and a cleverly designed, intricate layout.
Cons: The hotel's hardware facilities are quite outdated. For this price point, the hotel could definitely learn from the operational standards of top-tier brands. Furthermore, the breakfast selection is limited, and the toiletries in the room are of poor quality – these are areas with significant room for improvement. Large sections of wooden panels in the public areas are discolored or in disrepair.
Overall: If you're looking for value for money, you might want to reconsider. However, if budget isn't an issue and you prioritize experiencing the beautiful scenery and hot springs, it's definitely worth a visit. Finally, the complimentary travel photoshoot provided by the hotel was a nice touch, and I'd like to commend the photographer, Zixuan, for her excellent service.

Guest UserThe room was quite spacious, with a low table by the window and a bay window, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. It was very comfortable. The bedding was also very comfortable, with soft duvets, though I did spend quite a while trying to figure out the bedside lamp, haha. The bathroom and toilet were in separate spaces, with the sink outside, all three being independent, which was incredibly convenient and a huge plus! Many other hotels don't offer such a thoughtful layout. The reception isn't on the same floor as the guest rooms, and there's a dedicated lounge area where you can work, read, or watch shows. The room's soundproofing was good; I didn't even hear the heavy rainstorm outside last night. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and even gave us two bottles of water for our journey when we checked out, which was a very thoughtful touch. You can also store your luggage at the front desk. The hotel is situated in a tranquil area surrounded by schools, museums, and memorials, making for a beautiful environment. It's accessible from two subway stations, and there's a police car on duty right downstairs, as well as security guards, so it feels very safe. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Chongqing, especially with many historical 'red' attractions nearby, perfect for a leisurely stroll.

The service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the gym and pool facilities are top-notch. It's a very reliable choice, whether you're on a business trip or a leisure vacation.
