The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the location is super convenient for dining and strolling around. The staff are also very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel, and the swimming pool is very clean too!

During my trip to Chongqing, I mostly stayed at the hotel during the day. The cleaning lady on our floor was so thoughtful, she saw we had a baby and left us extra bottles of water – much appreciated! We stayed for 2 nights, and it was so hot in Chongqing that our little one went to the pool to play in the water every day.

I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're not too picky about facilities. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get anywhere. It's just a few minutes' walk to Jiefangbei and Bayi Road Food Street. Ordering takeout is easy, though you do have to go downstairs to pick it up yourself. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and the Panda Sightseeing Bus stop is also on the pedestrian street, which is very handy. The room is spacious and comfortable; the family room even has a fridge and a washing machine, which is genuinely convenient. The only downside is that the hotel decor is a bit old, and there aren't many smart features. The breakfast, which includes noodles, Western, and Chinese options, is decent. One great thing is that breakfast is served until 1:30 PM, perfect for late risers like me to grab a brunch. The staff are all proactive about greeting guests, and the room cleaning is quite thorough. A small suggestion: it would be even more convenient if each room in the family suite had a box of tissues and a trash can.

Service: The hotel service is excellent; anything requested from the front desk is delivered promptly. Hygiene: Up to the high standards expected of an established hotel, quite impressive. Environment: The location is absolutely unbeatable. It's just a short walk to Jiefangbei and various shopping malls, and within strolling distance to Hongyadong, Shibati, and other attractions. Staying on the 29th floor, there was absolutely no noise. Brunch until 1:30 PM is a brilliant marketing move for the hotel! The afternoon tea desserts are decent, and the self-service bar offers a good selection of coffee, drinks, and beer.

The family suite at this hotel was incredibly spacious and comfortable, with super soft bedding. It offered a quiet retreat despite being in a bustling area. This is a five-star hotel with six-star service – absolutely superb! The breakfast selection was extensive, with something for everyone. The hotel's location is excellent, surrounded by famous attractions and shopping malls. It's definitely the top choice for successful individuals and highly recommended!

This was my second stay here. When my friends and I came to Chongqing again, we still chose this hotel. It's just a few minutes' walk from Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, and also a few minutes from the subway and bus stations, making it convenient to get to all the nearby attractions. Although it's an older hotel and lacks smart facilities, it's still well-equipped and clean. There are many dining options, both big and small, in the surrounding area. Just avoid the 'food street' within the pedestrian street; the queues are long, it's expensive, and the food isn't even good.

The Grand Hyatt Chongqing, located on Youth Road in the bustling Yuzhong District, boasts an excellent location. It's surrounded by popular commercial, dining, and shopping areas, and public transportation is incredibly convenient. Subway stations like Jiaochangkou and Linjiangmen are not far, Jiefangbei is practically on its doorstep, and Hongyadong and Chaotianmen are also very close. As a five-star hotel, the service quality is exceptional. The front desk staff are warm, attentive, and provide clear explanations. Staff throughout the hotel are also very friendly and polite. The hotel's facilities are top-notch, with a great swimming pool, gym, and a sky bar on the 39th floor. I chose an Executive Room for my stay. The room was spacious, and upon check-in, I received complimentary welcome fruit. The minibar in the room was available daily, and the afternoon tea was both high-quality and distinctive. The room was clean, hygienic, and well-equipped, with a very practical layout, including a separate wet and dry area. The bedding, including sheets, duvets, and pillows, was of good quality and comfortable to use. Breakfast at the hotel was incredibly rich, with a good variety, quantity, and quality of both Chinese and Western dishes, along with special Chongqing delicacies. Just a small suggestion: the power outlets in the rooms could be updated to be more in line with current needs, perhaps by increasing the number and adding newer types of ports. Overall, this hotel truly lives up to its 5-star standard, and with its reasonable price, choosing it for a trip to Chongqing offers great value for money.
