"We stayed at YOLO Skyline Riverview for one night and absolutely loved it. The room was gorgeous, modern, and very comfortable, with stunning river and city views that were even better than expected.
The location was also excellent, with Shibati within walking distance and many of Chongqing’s attractions easily accessible from the hotel.
Our only disappointment was that we only booked one night. It’s the kind of place where you could easily spend a few more days relaxing and enjoying the scenery. If we’re ever back in Chongqing, we’d definitely stay here again for longer.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for great views, a convenient location, and a memorable stay."

"The hotel is a bit hard to find, located at the very end of a road behind a car park. Reception is on the 5th floor. However, once you manage to find it, the rooms are very nice and the river views are fantastic. It's about 10 minute walk to the metro station.
When I arrived they told me that the swimming pool was out of service. It had been out of service since the end of May 2026. The hotel just told me they have now fixed it (late June 2026) but unfortunately I have already checked out. However, they provided a free room upgrade in return for not being able to use the pool.
There is only one thing I didn't quite appreciate. After I left, the hotel messaged me asking to provide a screenshot of a 5-star revie, stating that some new employees have performance requirements. I find this pressure tactic to be dishonest, and it may have affected other reviews you read, so be aware of it. I mentioned to the hotel that this was not acceptance and they immediately apologised though.

I booked the 'Zuiyue' room type, which includes three suites, a mahjong room, a public restroom, one large hot spring pool, and one small hot spring pool. The water is drained and refilled for each new guest. It also comes with complimentary tickets to the RONGHUI public hot spring area, making it perfect for families with young children on weekends, especially those who love playing in the water. It's a great spot for family fun. The environment is lovely, and the staff are incredibly enthusiastic. A special thanks for the Christmas decorations!

Ssandy_qiqiWhenever I go to Chongqing, I always visit Guanghuan Plaza, which reminded me of this hotel nearby. After checking in, all I can say is that I got a five-star hotel experience for less than 800 yuan. First, let's talk about the room layout: two 1.35-meter single beds can be combined to form a massive 2.7-meter double bed. This is perfect if you're staying with kids – plenty of space. The room also has a bathtub, and crucially, it came with disposable bathtub liners (I forget the exact term!). Plus, the children's amenities provided were really good quality, not just an afterthought. What's even more impressive is that they placed dental floss right on the vanity – all the little touches were delightful. The product manager truly deserves commendation. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing.
Oh, and the breakfast buffet was excellent too, with a wide variety of delicious food. What really blew me away was finding steamed red dates at a buffet for the first time – that's a treat I usually only get at home!

Overall, my experience was comfortable, though with a slight disappointment. It's still worth trying.
Here are my specific complaints:
* **Welcome snacks (fried dough twists):** Didn't anyone check the production date? They were nearly two months old, soggy, and not crispy. How slow-moving must these products be? It left a terrible impression.
* **Welcome fruit:** Only one type of fruit was offered. The all-season hotel I stayed at the night before, which cost 300, even provided three kinds. This shows a lack of effort.
* **Mini-bar:** Is the mini-bar not free? The checkout process was incredibly fast, so fast that they probably didn't have time to check the room. So, was it free or not?
* **TV welcome message:** The welcome message cast on the TV for guests was nice, but don't hotels of this caliber usually provide a handwritten welcome card?
* **Breakfast seating:** There were quite a few foreign guests staying here. At breakfast, I noticed that all the guests around me were Chinese. No foreign friends were seated near us, which suggests they deliberately separated guests when seating them. Guests can judge this for themselves.

The hotel exterior boasts an exquisite and grand Roman-style architecture that's incredibly photogenic; I saw several tourists taking pictures by the entrance. Upon entering, the lobby felt very luxurious with beautiful lighting and a pleasant, comfortable aroma. They've made it super convenient by placing the key card directly in the room. The room hygiene is impeccable, and the design is beautiful, essentially matching the pictures – no photo trickery here, so you can book with confidence. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation and a rain shower, which is reassuring. The facilities are quite comprehensive, and the details are well-executed. The breakfast offers a good variety, with rich selections of both Western and Chinese dishes, as well as some local specialties. I stayed for two days and noticed that the dishes changed, so it wasn't repetitive. On holidays, breakfast extends until 11:00 AM, and I genuinely woke up early each day just to enjoy it before going back to sleep – it was that delicious. Their dedicated butler proactively asks every evening if you'd like a goodnight milk, which is a thoughtful touch. I must highlight the infinity pool on the 13th floor! The view is absolutely stunning. During the day, it offers expansive vistas, and at night, you can overlook the beautiful night view of Chongqing's Shibati from the poolside, which is perfect for photos. There's also a small bar on the 13th floor, convenient for drinks and enjoying the breeze in the evening. This hotel's location on Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street is excellent, making it very easy to get anywhere. The subway station is right at the entrance, easy to find, and taxis arrive very quickly. It's convenient for both travel and shopping. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

KKeaizhuzhu123The location is pretty good, about half an hour's drive from the airport, and you reach it right after crossing the Jialing River Bridge. The room was standard. When I first walked in, there was a strong smell of wood paint, but it got much better after I turned on the AC for ventilation. The water pressure in the shower was just okay, and there was a whistling sound when I adjusted the water flow. There might have been construction nearby, as there was some slight noise, but it was tolerable. The room's cleanliness was good. Although there wasn't a smart central control system, you could still control the lights with button switches.

TToni CummingsI especially enjoyed the luxuriousness and cleanliness of the room. The views were spectacular, offering beautiful panoramas of the city, river, and surrounding mountains. The hotel's facilities were chic and modern, although the layout was a bit unusual. Arriving at an almost vacant ground-floor lobby and then proceeding to the 53rd floor for check-in was an interesting experience. While the bellmen and concierge staff were incredibly friendly and helpful both upon arrival and throughout my stay, it felt somewhat strange not having front desk staff immediately available on the ground floor.
The service overall was excellent, and every staff member I encountered was warm and welcoming. The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square is also conveniently located near several local attractions, including a nearby temple. There are plenty of bars and dining options within walking distance, from delicious Chinese cuisine (especially hotpot) to Western-style restaurants such as Big Pizza. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and appreciated both the hotel's comfort and its prime location. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chongqing.

GGuest UserAs a loyal supporter of this brand, it's been our top choice for family trips in recent years. This time, revisiting Chongqing during a holiday rush, the hotel became our ultimate retreat. We spent a significant amount of time there with family, which naturally raised our expectations. The hotel's location was fantastic, with unbeatable river views and an excellent panorama.
I still hope the management can focus on basic detail management and improve the quality of in-room amenities. If disposables aren't provided, it should be clearly stated; if they are, their quality should be guaranteed. The disposable slippers tore within half a day, and the quality of the toothbrushes and toothpaste really needs improvement. I hope the management team addresses these details and continues to optimize their products and services. I have full confidence in Ascott and look forward to choosing them again in the future.
An unexpected bonus was the complimentary travel photography session that came with our room booking. Although we only took photos in the room due to time constraints, the photographer was patient and professional, capturing beautiful moments for my family in a short amount of time.

It's located right in the Nanchuan Wanda business district, next to Line 3's Gongmao Station, making it super convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Plus, there's a one-stop shop for food and shopping right downstairs. As expected from a Marriott property, the quality is top-notch. The lobby has high ceilings and a strong artistic vibe, and the spiral staircase is fantastic for photos. The rooms are spacious and bright with separate wet and dry areas, and the amenities are premium. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views and stunning nightscapes. Sara and Daisy provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service – always smiling, enthusiastic, and quick to respond. The breakfast spread was excellent, a rich mix of Western and Chinese options, making for a perfect experience. It's ideal for both business trips and leisure travel. I was extremely satisfied with my stay!

I booked this guesthouse on Ctrip. While it's labeled as a guesthouse, its facilities, services, and amenities are definitely up to star-rated hotel standards. The only minor point is the slightly fewer number of rooms, but overall, the guesthouse's environment, service, facilities, and rooms are exceptionally well-maintained and perfected. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to call it the Jianfeng Hotel (perhaps it should even be renamed!). It's conveniently located, just about a ten-minute drive from the 816 Underground Project. My experience this time was excellent!
