"Location is prime, yet quiet enough for rest at night. Within minutes to the metro entrance and pedestrian street, lots of good food and late supper places. Front desk ladies very friendly and prompt to our every request and questions. Room cleaning staff were all courteous and efficient with the cleaning. The free washer and dryer services were a great feature, just that the hotel guests ended up queueing long hours for available machines. Thankfully the gym is right next to the laundry and we were able to exercise while waiting for laundry to be done. Recommended!"

"We had a really wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel environment was excellent and relaxing. What impressed us the most was the thoughtful service. The hotel provides convenient shuttle transfers to and from Disneyland, which made the trip so much easier for families. After returning late from Disneyland at around 11pm, the hotel even prepared a warm bowl of noodles for guests to enjoy — such a caring and heartwarming gesture 😊 The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful, and they even gave small gifts to the kids, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices for everyone. Overall, everything from the service, cleanliness, facilities, and hospitality was excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Shanghai Disneyland! ❤️"

The entire Bund nightscape was laid out before my eyes. Leaning quietly against the bay window, watching the cruise ships slowly glide across the river, feeling the gentle evening breeze, the city's vibrant night view was completely breathtaking. All the fatigue from travel instantly vanished, creating an incredibly atmospheric experience and making for fantastic photos. The room itself was clean and tidy, warmly and comfortably furnished, with simple yet sophisticated decor. All essential amenities were provided, and the hygiene details were meticulously handled, making for a truly relaxing stay. Overall, it was a perfect stay. The excellent location, unique bay window river view, and incredible value for money. If you want to immerse yourself in the Bund's night view, choosing this panoramic king room is definitely a safe bet. I'll definitely be returning for my next trip to Shanghai!"

"Our family had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai Hyland. You truly cannot beat the location! Right outside the door is Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, making it incredibly easy to step out for shopping and dining with the family. For quick snacks and essentials, there is a very convenient convenience store right on the other side of the property. Plus, the Metro station is only about two blocks away—a very easy, flat, and walkable distance, even if you are managing bags or traveling with kids. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained. After a long day of walking around Shanghai, we always appreciated coming back to a room where the air conditioning was nice and cool. The bathroom was fully stocked with a complete set of amenities, so we didn't have to worry about missing any essentials. The daily breakfast buffet offered a great variety to start the morning. There was a fantastic selection of fresh breads, several coffee machines to keep the parents caffeinated, and an impressive mix of local Chinese cuisine and American classics. Tucked away at the end, you'll find the popular egg station, right next to the meatloaves and hot dim sum plus noodles. There was even a dedicated Korean station, which was a unique touch. The breakfast food is delicious, but the menu doesn't vary much from day to day. If you are staying for a week or longer like we did, it can feel a bit repetitive. We wished they would rotate the choices a bit more. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Between the unbeatable location, clean rooms, and extensive breakfast options, it’s a highly recommended, stress-free base for families visiting Shanghai!"

The location was really convenient, with easy access to nearby metro stations, shopping areas, restaurants, and major attractions around Shanghai, which made getting around very simple. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and felt very welcoming after long days exploring the city. A special mention to concierge worker Iris, who was absolutely amazing throughout our stay. She was incredibly kind, professional, and always willing to help with directions, transport advice, and recommendations. Her friendly attitude genuinely made our experience better and made us feel very looked after. "I stayed here before for a trip with my sister and we were pleasantly suprised back than. The trip this time was with my finance and we decided to stay in the same place wich was a great decision. The room was tidy and comfortable, the chairs and bench in the room were sagged and have had there best time but it’s okay. Light in the bathroom was horrible for makeup or anything else, but again it didn’t really bother us. We had a very pleasant stay and would probably head over here again cause of the place of the hotel. Staff is very friendly and speaks basic English. We used the washroom for out clothes and it worked perfectly. If you’re looking for a basic hotel this is it! Only 10mins walking towards the bund. That never gets old 🙌🏻"

Near riverside and pier. 4km away from Shanghai pearl tower and you can walk on the boulevard along to river to that easily. 15-20 mins away from metro station line4 which is also best to visit Jade Buddha temple and 1000trees building. "It’s a great hotel for a couple nights’ stay. Although it feels somewhat dated (it really shows in such a hi-tech city as Shanghai) and the public spaces are cramped (the gym gives claustrophobic vibes when there are more than 5 people in it), especially considering the size of the building and number of rooms - it may suit well for a conservative traveller, or if you have to stay in this particular area, or simply if you enjoy being among European/South American tourists (I got an impression that locals don’t stay here). In a nutshell, the location is unbeatable, the breakfasts were good (half of dishes were westernized), staff speaks English and is helpful, the view from my room was breathtaking, nights were quiet. Some fresh towels were still stained, tho. Not good."

"I booked the 1099 package through Ctrip, which included a Thai meal (lunch or dinner option, I chose lunch) and access to the executive lounge. 1. **Front Desk Check-in**: Cicy, the lady at the front desk, was incredibly friendly. She upgraded us to a premier room and clearly explained the times for lunch and the executive lounge. Since I had mentioned my mother's birthday over the phone beforehand, they also helped arrange a room decoration and asked what time would be convenient for the cake delivery. Her attention to detail was excellent, and I was very impressed. 2. **Lunch**: We had lunch at the Thai Ying restaurant on the second floor. Everything was freshly prepared. Manager Zhong at the restaurant was exceptionally kind. She asked about any dietary restrictions, and when I mentioned a shrimp allergy, she ensured all dishes were prepared without shrimp and substituted chicken. When the food was served, she individually introduced each item in the set meal, offering very meticulous service. The food tasted good and was quite innovative. 3. **Executive Lounge**: There was only one female staff member, who looked very beautiful and gentle, and spoke in a soft, quiet voice. We had a light afternoon tea. I found the dinner quality to be quite high, and it was less crowded. Main dishes included scallion oil noodles and custard buns. Hot dishes featured steak, roast duck, cauliflower, chicken pieces, basa fish, typhoon shelter shrimp, as well as fruit, yogurt, and small Thai-style salad plates. I didn't get to photograph everything! But overall, the quality was quite good. 4. **Breakfast**: I wasn't very hungry, but I ate enough. To sum it up, I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Shanghai. My overall experience was fantastic, and all the service staff were gentle and attentive."

It's about a 10-minute drive from the park, and the owner provides a complimentary shuttle service, dropping us off in the morning and picking us up in the evening. We hadn't booked our tickets in advance, but the owner even helped us connect with a concierge service to get them. All the rooms are themed, which was a big hit, and it offers great value for money. Plus, the kids loved being able to feed the rabbits!

It's just a 5-minute walk to the riverside, and my room had floor-to-ceiling windows with a perfect view of the Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' – I could watch the Oriental Pearl Tower light up at night right from my bed. The smart toilet and automatic curtains were super convenient, and soaking in the bathtub while enjoying the river view was just heavenly! The freshly baked croissants at breakfast were so good they were practically addictive. The rooftop bar had incredible night views, and the cocktails created a fantastic ambiance. The front desk even proactively upgraded my room and sent welcome fruits, and the robot delivering food was adorable. The soundproofing was excellent; I slept like a baby until I woke up naturally. Plus, free laundry and drying service was such a thoughtful touch! The location is unbeatable – Yu Garden and Nanjing Road are within walking distance, and the subway station is right outside. For around 400+ RMB per person, it felt like a thousand-yuan experience. As a detail-oriented person, I was completely won over. I'm definitely booking this place again on my next trip to Shanghai!

MMenglitanle.The facilities are great, and the room is spacious. Every time I come to Shanghai, I stay at this hotel. The front desk service is excellent, and the cleaning staff do a thorough and meticulous job. I highly recommend this place; they even have free popcorn at the front desk and complimentary whiskey. My girlfriend and I always stay here. The movies are also great, and there's a free membership that allows screen casting. Rooms with windows offer a view of the plane trees.

I was in Shanghai for a concert, and hotels were too expensive, so I booked this hostel just to try it out. The location is superb – right by the Changshu Road subway exit. There are many coffee shops downstairs, and lots of old mansions nearby, with plenty of great places to eat, explore, and do some city walking~ After checking in, a staff member showed me to my room and helped explain the locations of the washrooms, toilets, and showers. The room also came with a set of disposable toiletries. In the common areas, there was always a cleaning lady tidying up, and the restrooms were disinfected after each use, which was incredibly thoughtful! It’s also very close to the Mercedes-Benz Arena, making it convenient to get anywhere! I got back after the concert close to midnight, and there were many girls in the washroom area removing their makeup. I didn't have to worry about safety at all. The female and male washroom areas are far apart, and I didn't see any male guests during my stay, which is great for female travelers. After 11 PM, the hair dryers are put away, and the outlets are locked, so no noise disturbs anyone's rest. The room was very clean. If someone with潔癖 (germophobia) thinks it's clean, then it's *really* clean. The bedding was very comfortable, and climbing to the top bunk was easy. The room wasn't big, but it was just enough for one person, which made me feel very secure. Regarding soundproofing, if you're a very light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend it, as there can be some noise. However, I personally found it fine; I slept very comfortably. I only heard people opening and closing doors, but not sounds from the adjacent rooms. The reception floor has facilities for picking up packages and food deliveries, as well as a common area to relax. It's on a high floor with a great view. There's also a self-service bar for drinks, which I didn't try this time, but I might next time~. Regarding age restrictions, it seems they don't host very young children or very elderly people, but unlike some other hostels, there's no 35-year-old age limit, which is also fantastic! This stay was so good that I almost didn't want to leave this little 'nest'~ I've always wanted to spend more days exploring Shanghai, and next time I visit, I'll definitely consider staying here again. I absolutely loved it! Finally, ending with a checkout photo, because a clean and tidy space is key for a hotel stay~

GGuest UserTerrible. Will not stay again. The check-in SOP was unclear, forcing guests to ask multiple questions, even for basic information like breakfast times and location. The room smelled of smoke, possibly due to old or poorly maintained air conditioning. The front desk staff denied there was a smoke smell and only after repeated requests did they show me other rooms, about half of which also smelled of smoke. Their service attitude was both arrogant and perfunctory. The operational procedures were also a mess; for example, after checking in, I found the room didn't even have a kettle and called to request one. Ten minutes later, housekeeping knocked on the door, saying they needed to replace the in-room magazine. It was bizarre to replace a monthly magazine after check-in. The kettle that was eventually delivered was wet inside and out, with a strong disinfectant smell inside. The ice bucket in the room also had water and already smelled foul when opened. The hotel management is riddled with loopholes everywhere; quality is in the details. The hard furnishings like the toilet and bathtub in the room were old, the shower handle was broken, and the water pressure was worse than a 3 or 4-star hotel. The linens were average. However, the bedding and mattress were good.

GGuest UserQuiet surroundings and lovely hotel. About 5.5km away from Shanghai Disneyland. Shopping centre about 350m from Novotel. Bedding, amenities and pillows OK. Perhaps can change one soft pillow to a harder pillow instead of two soft pillows. Fridge drinks provided. Water pressure in shower good with instant hot water supply. Aircon in the room pre-programmed to 26°C...so we had to request for a stand fan to ventilate our room especially after returning from dinner after 3 hrs. Hotel provided only 1 keycard so we had to take it with us when we left the room. Could not leave card in the slot to continue cooling it. Thanks for upgrading us to L15 by your Reception staffs. Free shuttle to Pudong Airport and Disneyland. Good service by all staffs... Even to Novotel's shuttle coach driver who helped us with our luggages. Thanks to all. 🙏

Cchw_tThe hotel's location is fantastic. The lobby is on Sichuan Road, but there's also an entrance on Zhongshan East Road, making it super convenient to get to the Bund. After dinner, we relaxed at the hotel and waited for the Bund to be a bit less crowded before heading out for a stroll, which was really pleasant. The hotel's own restaurant is Michelin-starred, with an elegant atmosphere and good quality dishes. The bar is also great for a drink with a view of the Bund. As for the hotel facilities, they are top-notch, as expected from a hotel of this caliber. Overall, it was a very good experience.

TThe Lonely TravellerMight I say, our entire stay at the W was marvelous from beginning to end. Upon arrival, we were greeted and helped with our luggage straight yo our room. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly. She even offered to upgrade us to a room with a better view seeing that we were celebrating and visiting Shanghai for the first time. Each staff seemed to acknowledge our existence all throughout the hotel. This made us feel like extremely important people. Our room was absolutely stunning and oh my was the view ever so perfect. Room service was excellent. Their burger was probably the most delicious. We visited amd stayed in many hotels around China and this one definitely left some beautiful memories. We would highly recommend staying here if ever visiting Shanghai. Every penny spent was worth it.

The hotel location is excellent with convenient transportation. They also offer a 'Yu Mian' special: 'Exquisite freshly ground coffee and snacks,' so you can make your own coffee.
