Songyun Skyline Seaview Holiday Hotel

Traveling to Dali with my family, choosing Songyun Banshan Hotel was definitely a hit. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around, and parking is convenient. The rooms are spacious with great natural light, and the wet and dry areas are well-separated, with a full range of toiletries. Both my parents and the kids were very comfortable. The hotel environment is tranquil, surrounded by lush greenery, making walks and admiring the views very pleasant. Our butler, Allen, was incredibly thoughtful, proactively looking after us, and the breakfast catered to both adults and children. The terrace offers expansive views, and watching the Cangshan clouds, the sea of clouds, and the sunset over the sea with the family created a fantastic atmosphere. The hygiene standards are strict, and service is prompt. It's perfect for a short family getaway, and I genuinely recommend it to families traveling with children. However, it's worth noting that this area is in Haidong District, which is a bit far from both Dali Ancient City and Shuanglang Ancient Town. The environment and scenery are exceptional, facing Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain, and the service is also great. It's located within Ideal Bang, which has a complete range of snacks, supermarkets, bakeries, and milk tea shops.

The room was very spacious, giving off a Santorini vibe. The entire hotel grounds are beautiful and quite extensive, requiring a good amount of time to explore. Our butler, Allen, provided exceptional and thoughtful service.

Our housekeeper Jia Hui provided exceptionally thoughtful and thorough service. The scenery of Songyun Banshan, even on a rainy day, had a unique charm.

It's ideally located for stunning views, the infinity pool has a fantastic vibe, the rooms are clean, and the butler service is very responsive. The view of the Erhai Lake sunset from here is absolutely unbeatable.

Songyun Banshan is definitely the top choice for couples visiting Dali! Its pure white, cliffside architecture gives off strong Santorini vibes, and every corner is perfect for photos. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms offer direct views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. Watching the sunset and evening glow from the balcony is incredibly serene and healing. Our butler, Allen, was attentive throughout our stay, sending us directions in advance and welcoming us with fresh fruit in the lobby. He was always available when we needed anything. The room was fully equipped with smart features, the bedding was soft, and the toiletries were high quality. The breakfast selection was rich, and you could enjoy the lake view while eating. My experience at Songyun Banshan Hotel was absolutely perfect. Nestled against the mountains with stunning views of Erhai Lake, it's easily the most photogenic hotel, especially for sunset shots from the balcony. The breakfast was authentic and plentiful. The hotel itself is serene and quiet, and the infinity pool has an amazing vibe. It offers incredible value for money and is my top choice for a vacation in Dali. Staying here was so relaxing and restorative. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

These days, most hotels don't require a deposit, but this place actually charged 1000 yuan, claiming it's because there are two bottles of wine in the room. I think that's completely unreasonable. Who's going to drink their wine? What if a child knocks it over? That just creates a potential problem. Plus, the hotel's pricing is unfair and way too expensive. The night before, I stayed at the hotel right behind this one – it was quieter, just as nice, and 500 yuan cheaper.
