5-Star Hotels in Lanzhou

It's not far to walk from Lanzhou University subway station; the trees and flowers along the way are beautiful, and the hotel environment is impeccable. The receptionist was very enthusiastic, polite, and responsible – a big thumbs up! The hotel also provides a fruit platter and homemade yogurt daily, and the yogurt was indeed delicious! The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the Lanzhou beef noodles were absolutely amazing! Super delicious beef noodles!!! And the large window in the breakfast restaurant overlooking a big tree was breathtaking!!! The restaurant staff I encountered on the first day were all very nice, enthusiastic, and polite! However, on the second day, an older staff member at the entrance had a less than pleasant attitude.

For this trip to the Northwest, we stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at both the beginning and end. We stayed in two different rooms for a total of three nights, and it was very comfortable. Returning the car was also convenient. The hotel even upgraded our room type and provided free breakfast for our child. The hotel's beef noodles were delicious, and the freshly squeezed juice was very refreshing.

Overall, a fantastic stay! Lanzhou Airport is one of the furthest from the city center, making this hotel the top choice for early morning or late-night transfers. First, the positives: 1. Excellent service: Both the front desk staff and the shuttle drivers were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Before arrival, the hotel proactively called to provide the shuttle contact number. Even arriving after 10 PM, a quick call had a driver there to pick us up. 2. Great location: It's very close to the airport, just a 3-minute drive. 3. Wonderful room: The layout is very practical, with distinct areas for the sleeping area, vanity, shower, and toilet, which is efficient. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. 4. Delicious breakfast: It was quite substantial and varied. **Only 60 for two people.** Areas for improvement: 1. The curtains weren't thick enough; the room got bright around 6 AM. I suggest adding a pelmet. 2. The duvet was a bit too thick. These minor issues don't detract from the overall experience. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Stayed here for a concert, just like in 2024. The location is super convenient. The Rose Bowl Stadium looks beautiful from the room, and I could even hear the rehearsals. Overall, everything else was pretty good, but the only thing I wasn't happy with was the pool. It's not only small, but it's also open to the public, with lots of kids taking lessons and staff livestreaming product sales. Also, they have latex pillows, but they are a bit too small.

The room is well decorated, and the stay experience is perfect! From the moment you step into the hotel lobby, you can feel the warm and thoughtful service of the staff. Not only does it check you in quickly, but it also provides detailed information about the surrounding tour guide. The room is warm and elegant, with all the smart devices available, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, allowing you to sleep well until dawn. Highly recommended to everyone!

Advantages: 1. The room is very big. 2. I met the staff doing the cleaning, and confirmed that the linens were indeed changed for each guest! 3. It is very close to the shopping mall, food court, and airport. 4. The service is nice. Disadvantages: The lobby and the room are not non-smoking. P.S. The breakfast at 8:00 is quite rich and the taste is above average. There are specialty seed melon and yogurt! Ramen is also freshly made, but Lanzhou ramen almost does not contain beef, and the beef is only injured on the skin.

This is a temporary stay for one night when returning to Suzhou from Gansu. I still chose the Jianguo Hotel. The environment is good, the sound insulation is good, the attitude is good, and the price is relatively inexpensive. It is worth recommending

Nice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

I absolutely loved this hotel! From the moment I stepped into the room, I was impressed by how clean and comfortable it was. The sheets and towels were spotless, and this fresh, cozy environment really made my trip more relaxing and enjoyable. I even had a beautiful view of the Yellow River from my room, which was especially stunning at night. I also want to give a special shout-out to Da Yanlong for the swift check-in process and for patiently answering all my questions with such a warm and friendly attitude – it really made me feel welcome. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a great variety of fruits and pastries. Overall, I highly recommend it and would definitely come back given the chance!

I arrived at the hotel drunk at 3am. The staff on duty were diligent and still working at the front desk. They helped me solve my urgent problem. I even asked their names and planned to thank them the next day. My schedule was too tight, so I can only say thank you here! The service is very considerate 👍👍👍
