Crowne Plaza LANZHOU by IHG

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Lanzhou. Its location might be a bit out of the way compared to other hotels, situated on the north side of the Yellow River. However, the view from the scenic room was quite good. The hotel itself is a bit dated, and the service was just okay. I was too busy sightseeing every day and didn't get a chance to use the hotel's swimming pool or gym. Breakfast was decent.

When I booked the room, I had already paid, but upon arrival that evening, I was asked to pay again. Although I eventually received a refund, it was a huge hassle. Also, the hotel's hygiene is questionable. The windows were incredibly dirty. How am I supposed to enjoy the river view with windows that filthy?

Our stay was fantastic! The hotel lobby is grand and elegant, and the environment is quiet and comfortable. Lisa provided warm and professional service, and she thoughtfully introduced the hotel facilities and local transportation information. The room was spacious, the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep; the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The breakfast offered a rich variety of choices and tasted delicious. The gym and common areas were very well-maintained. My family and I had a wonderful time, the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

Overall, it's pretty good, and the location is excellent, right by the Yellow River. You can walk there in about 3 minutes. For out-of-town visitors looking to try Lanzhou beef noodles, there's Jinqiang Beef Noodles right next door. Definitely recommended.

Among five-star hotels, this one offers exceptional value for money. The stay was fantastic, and the staff were warm and efficient. Lucy, in particular, provided meticulous service. Sitting on the sofa by the floor-to-ceiling window, you can fully enjoy the beautiful views of the Yellow River. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

The hotel was excellent! The service was very attentive, and the breakfast had a great variety of dishes. I had a small issue, and the front desk kindly granted a late check-out for free. They even mailed back my forgotten razor. Truly excellent service.

The Crowne Plaza Lanzhou boasts an excellent location on the north bank of the Yellow River. The river view rooms offer expansive views, allowing you to take in the illuminated Yellow River at night. The hotel is well-equipped with amenities, including a heated swimming pool and a gym. A highlight of the breakfast is the freshly made Lanzhou beef noodles, which are authentic and delicious. The lobby is grand, and the service is reliable. Right outside the hotel, you can enjoy a stroll along Binhe Park. The only downsides are that the hotel has been open for a while, so some room facilities are a bit dated. Also, reaching the Xiguan commercial area requires crossing the river, making it more convenient for guests traveling by car.

The hotel is right by the Yellow River. Within a 200-meter walk, you'll find plenty of established beef noodle soup restaurants and hand-grabbed lamb eateries, so dining is super convenient. The hotel itself is clean and the service is excellent.

The hygiene really didn't match the hotel's star rating! There was hair and trash! It was quite late when I arrived, so I couldn't be bothered to switch rooms. In the morning, I could see a glimpse of the Yellow River when I opened the window, but the window was too dirty! When I checked out, I gave feedback to the front desk, and the lady at the front desk had a very good attitude, offering explanations and apologies, so I won't give a bad review. I'll reluctantly give it a 4, hoping for improvement. After all, for this brand, even if the facilities are old, cleanliness should be a basic standard.
