Hyatt Regency Lanzhou

This hotel is perfectly located right on the banks of the Yellow River on South Binhe East Road, next to the Waterwheel Park. The scenic views are truly unparalleled among luxury hotels in Lanzhou. I travel to Lanzhou frequently for business, and I always choose the Grand Hyatt. The decor is stylish, elegant, and grand, and the facilities are comprehensive. The breakfast spread is fantastic, offering a wide variety of local specialties like beef noodles, beef buns, and milk egg *laozao* soup, as well as excellent Western and Chinese options – nothing is an afterthought. The ingredients are always fresh and delicious. The service consistently maintains a high standard! Staying at the Grand Hyatt always makes me feel right at home.

The Hyatt Regency Lanzhou boasts an excellent location right by the Yellow River. Stepping out of the hotel, you can walk along the riverside promenade to Zhongshan Bridge, and just across the bridge is Baita Mountain Park. The hotel's service meets a high five-star standard; the concierge, front desk, executive lounge, room service, and restaurant staff all exhibit excellent professionalism. They are proactive, enthusiastic, and always ready to assist guests with any needs. The hotel's facilities are top-notch, with spacious and impeccably clean rooms. The furniture is stylish and elegant, the bedding is comfortable, and the room soundproofing is excellent. The bathroom offers good water pressure and temperature. High-floor suites provide a clear 180-degree panoramic view of the Yellow River, which is truly spectacular. A self-service laundry room is available as an added amenity. The hotel's breakfast is extensive, featuring local specialties, freshly made beef noodles, and a wide array of both Chinese and Western options, all of which taste great. My stay was excellent, so much so that I extended it.

Second time staying at Hyatt Regency Lanzhou! The service, as always, was warm and attentive! There's an attendant directing traffic in the underground parking garage. The front desk offers self-serve coffee and healthy infused water. The hotel gym is excellent 😎. The buffet breakfast on the 2nd floor has a wide variety of options, including many Lanzhou specialty dishes and desserts.

This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in Lanzhou! **Check-in** was quick and seamless. The staff proactively helped with my luggage and brought it to my room. **Dining**: I had breakfast at the hotel every day in Lanzhou, and it was delicious. I even think their Lanzhou-style pulled noodles (Lan La) are better than what you find outside. The Swiss oats were also excellent, comparable to what you'd find at a Mandarin Oriental. **Bedding**: It's true, as many have mentioned, that the beds are incredibly comfortable. For someone who walks 10,000 steps daily in Lanzhou, a good night's sleep is crucial. I could just crash into bed every night and didn't want to get up. **Service**: Everyone was smiling, enthusiastic, and very good. I will definitely choose the Hyatt Regency Lanzhou again on my next visit.

I've stayed at this hotel before. Seeing as it's one of the top-rated hotels in Lanzhou, I booked it again this time. However, my experience was just so-so, and I don't plan on choosing it in the future. First off, parking is a hassle. After driving all day, there were no parking spots available when I arrived. Checking in required waiting in line, and even though there are six elevators, the wait was always quite long. The hotel's air conditioning wasn't great either, and the sink design was impractical – there was no space to put anything down. Overall, I felt uncomfortable during this stay, and considering the high price, I found it to be mediocre.

The family room experience at Hyatt Regency Lanzhou was fantastic! 👍 The room was spacious, and the full set of children's amenities was well-prepared. My child absolutely loved the themed decor. The location is excellent, close to the Yellow River, making it very convenient for exploring the surrounding areas. Breakfast was abundant, and having a kids' playground and heated pool on-site made staying with children easy and comfortable, perfect for a rest after a long journey.

This was my first time in Lanzhou, and I chose the Grand Hyatt – it definitely lived up to expectations! **Facilities**: The hotel has been around for a while, and some facilities show a bit of age, but it doesn't affect their usability – still very convenient. **Hygiene**: Up to par with high-end hotels, clean and tidy. **Environment**: The location is excellent! There are many large shopping malls nearby, offering everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping. **Service**: Check-in at the front desk was super smooth, and the staff's enthusiastic service left me very satisfied. What truly impressed me was the self-service beverage stations on both sides of the front desk, offering coffee and more. It allowed weary travelers to feel the brand's thoughtful service the moment they stepped into the hotel. I hope other hotels can take a cue from this! **Minibar**: The first round is complimentary, and the selection is extensive – regular sodas and colas, plus local specialties like apricot peel tea and 'sweet embryos' (tian peizi). Very satisfied. I was able to get a late checkout until 3 PM, so no rush, I could pack up at my leisure. My only regret was the absence of welcome fruit. **Room View**: The room view was perfect; I could enjoy the 'Yellow River flowing into the sea' (a poetic reference, likely to the grand river views). In the evening, I could also admire the vibrant architectural lighting – very pleasant. My positive impression of Lanzhou was largely due to this Hyatt experience, haha! I hope to have another chance to visit Lanzhou and experience the high quality of the Hyatt again!

This was the perfect hotel for my trip to Lanzhou. Located by the Yellow River, the high-floor room offered fantastic views. The hotel's cleanliness and service were excellent. When my child felt a little unwell upon arrival, the hotel service manager immediately came to check in on us, which was very considerate. We received welcome fruits, and the mini-bar was incredibly well-stocked, which I really appreciated. The swimming pool is huge, and the changing rooms are very clean – another big plus. The facilities are comprehensive. While the parking lot isn't huge, security guards were on hand to guide us, and it was very well-managed. The laundry room is super spacious, and you access it with your room key card.
